I would give Zero stars if I could. Terrible place. My doctor sent in a prescription because I'm very sick. They didn't bother filling after 24 hrs. So I called and was told by tomorrow it would be ready, but when I complained they said it will be 90 minutes. A family member went to get it for me after 2 hours & he was told "oh no we don't have that here". I called them again & was told "we haven't carried that for a year." They don't even bother notifying doctor or patient. This is Terrible Business & Atrocious patient care.

Pharmacy customer service is one of the worst. I will switch to other pharmacy as they don't care about their mediocre customers service.

Employee named JOHN working 9/30/23 @ Orcutt Walgreens location (around 6:30PM) was very impolite and straight up rude. A very bad, distasteful representation of the Company and management should reconsider his employment. Will be reaching out to his manager and corporate. Hope you see this JOHN. It costs you absolutely nothing to be a nice person.Thank you to the employee who overheard and kindly jumped in to assist. Your kindness speaks volumes.

Speaking from my experiences with this store - Medications are never ready in a timely manner . I always call prior to driving down to the store to pick up any prescription. The staff answering phones Informs that prescription are either ready or in roughly “an hour” . When I arrive the medication(s) are never ready . It’s very frustrating , changes need to be made at the south Broadway Walgreens location . Addl staff is needed in pharmacy and throughout the store .

This Walgreens Pharmacy is slow and doesn't answer their phone at all most times. I used to use them regularly, but stopped after several bad experiences with delays filling prescriptions only to be told the medicine was unavailable. Because of this pharmacy, my son was left for days without critical medication he depends on as we frantically sought out another pharmacy to accommodate us. They are disorganized, and have signage that is misleading and confusing. Staff is mostly friendly in person, but this hardly compensates for the systemic shortcomings.

This locations pharmacy has the RUDEST staff I have ever met. One gentleman in specific is rude and very unprofessional in my opinion if you hate your job then quit your job other people should not have to suffer because you are having a bad day. So many sick people that just want their medication or simply have questions I will definitely be reaching out to corporate and file a huge complaint.

Sandra from the pharmacy was very rude over our phone call this morning.. I was trying to get a discrepancy taken care of, which I've never dealt with in the past and wanted to understand. She cut me off with "your insurance is pending, pay for it now or wait till it's approved" .....I understand that the pharmacy is very busy and want to be to the point as much as possible because they have so many customers... im aware of this because I'm there often, but I know this could have been dealt with better.

After 15 minutes in line, only one person was helped at the pharmacy. I figured at that rate, it would be an hour and a half before I got served. Even the drive-through! Not one car drove away from that line either in 15 minutes. I counted 5 people behind the counter that I could see. I saw one person go on break.Update… I just went back for the third time to pick up the same prescription. Big surprise, but guess what! It wasn't ready. The doctor faxed it over to them almost 6 hours ago. She said give her another hour and she can have it done. So, at 7:45 tonight I have to go back to pick Up a prescription. It's a good thing I don't have a contagious disease or something… Switching pharmacies as soon as this ordeal is over

Good experience. They always busy. Many patients/peoples willing to get drugs. I’d expect to have some delays, it’s only because they are working hard and trying to satisfy every patient.

Never have I had a bad experiance with this pharmacy until tonight. Had an encounter with a drive through assistant, middle age dark hair who made it obvious she did not want to be there. Had me wait on her and after gave straight attitude not professional at all.

This is now nearly a dozen times this exact pharmacy has decided they are doctors and have denied medication already approved by my doctors for nearly a decade due to their personal opinion. JERRY or GERRY started by saying he can't sell me medication because his system has no price. Then he told me it was because of the date....then within seconds, he has a price of $47 dollars without looking at any computer. He then went on to make explain my personal medical conditions and why my doctors have prescribed this medication in oral tablet form and ODT. When I asked how I can resolve this issue that continues to come up every 3 months he told me I have "other choices (like find another store ) or speak to the manager". Once finished with my medication he yelled my name and threw the medication on the counter. I feel embarrassed that i had to describe my personal health issue to group of complete strangers. This is the second complaint I have filled out against this exact store. When asked over the phone for their business license they hung up on me. I suggest everyone that has had issues with this pharmacy acting like they are gods to please file a complaint with the California Board of Pharmacy.....this stores business license is PHY45883 for those that meet the same unwelcoming attitude from Jerry....Let's GO JERRY

Only come here to get prescription meds and most of the pharmacist staff seem to be nice and helpful with the exception of some. The rest of the store is ok. The lady who works in the FedEx department is a joke. She is rude and she needs some classes on customer service Or maybe find a better job.

Waiting maybe an hour just to drop off a prescription, then at best taking hours to get prescriptions filled, then wait longer in line to pick-up, taking time in drive-thru to do covid testing, which they could do with a separate line somewhere not in the normal drive-thru, but they don't care about the customers. Have come before for refills which should have been ready, but weren't, then back in long line again due to their errors.

This store is kept clean and the staff are very helpful. The day Manager Chris is very kind and professional. I’m new to couponing and he has been very helpful and patient with me. The register assistants are also pleasant and knowledgeable.

Get a call at 130 that it will be ready to pickup in an hour, get here at 415 wait in line for about 30 minutes, only to be told it''s not ready. Waited the 10 more minutes they said it would be and still waiting...........well it ended up being 20 minutes later to find out the pharmacist decided to give us "nicer" medicine that was a much higher price, and was asked if I didn't want to pay I could have a seat while he changes it back to the original lower price we were quoted .....

This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever used. Every single month they have an issue with my medications, currently I’ve been on hold for over an hour. The first time for 35 mins before someone hung up on me intentionally. Do not use this pharmacy.

Several times I have been rudely treated by the pharmacy as a long time customer I’m just astonished at the lack of customer service skill. I understand things are strange and everyone is taking high volumes of customers but as for being cold and unwilling to help is just ridiculous.

Sophie and Janet ROCK!!! Went in for a couple things and both Sophie and Janet went above and beyond to help out and try and solve an insurance problem I had. Great help and both deserve a raise!! When was the last time you went to the store with a cold, feeling terrible and walked out smiling and happy and feeling better just from the good vibes? Thank you both!!!!

My sister and I came in, in the evening and needed assistance with prints for a family memorial and we were assisted by a wonderful employee named Salena she was amazing and took the time to make sure our pictures were great we are so greatfull for the wonderful customer service she provided

Ok i see why Walgrens and CVS are closing stores do to staff shortages... if thier Supervisors followed the rules it might help and saves some lives. So I just kept This Walgrens in Santa Maria, CA... They are allowing customers to walk into the store with no masks. I asked to speak to the supervisor. A young girl ( Ashley) and to speak with me from the back . I informed her that we have a mandate to enforce Masks in businses in Califirnia. She Ashley thr Supervisor told me) Walgreens is not enforcing masks. I told her someone was going to record them having no concern with the Pandemic killing people and she said" it's Walgren" now I'm going to appeal to the CEO of Walgrens. "Rosalind Brewer" Very sharp women, from my home town Detroit. Was CEO of Sam's Club, saved Starbucks as CEO, now here to Claean up Walgrens. Please Mrs Brewer, put a stop to this location allowing people to shop with no masks on. Please speak with Ashley. It was clear she could care less about enforcing the mask mandate. I'm afraid to shop at this location now. This is an example of public safety concern or not. I look forward to safely being able to shop at Walgrens again one day. 🙏

If I could give zero stars I would. This is pertaining to the pharmacy. Every time I drop off a prescription or it is sent by my doctor it NEVER gets filled. I'm always having to drop it off again or have my doctor resend it because they are unorganized and not on their job. It's highly irritating. Also at the front register the cashier gave me counterfeit money in change. I had to return the next day with the receipt and jump through hurdles just to prove the change was given to me there. It's a headache going here

I was just in there at the pharmacy and was picking up my daughter's prescription and the pharmacy tech told me that I just need Tylenol over the counter that I didn't need the Vicodin and the Valium for the dentist even though the dentist sent it that I don't need that I can just take Tylenol for her. That's crazy how is she going to tell me even though my daughter has a prescription there how is she going to tell me that

Second time here. Second bad experience at the pharmacy. Confusion with meds is not what you want at any pharmacy. First they almost gave me the wrong meds based on a dob only. Then they had to ask me what I brought in yesterday from the ER. There were 5, and I couldn't recall the names of all of them. Finally, somehow, they figured out why I was there. Then, they weren't ready. I brought them in yesterday and it is 4 pm next day. I am waiting for them all to be filled. They also just chose not to fill an over the counter without calling and asking. I have to get it through a prescription for refund purposes. This is NOT TYPICALLY how Walgreens does business. They need corporate to secret shop them to find out what the problem is. Terrible experience again!!!!

This is the worst store of any kind I’ve visited. I was looking for a Walgreens product and they didn’t have it in stock. This portly Mexican American named Micheal was one of the rudest people in retail I’ve encountered. I will never set foot in this store again.

I have had Walgreen's as my pharmacy for 15 years (3 years at this location), I have been happy with the service for the most part, both in the pharmacy and the store in general. The staff is friendly and helpful.
