Worst customer service! I was told to come in to place a large order for garlic bread, because I think its the best, and I was completely ignored by three of the workers. I had to approach someone myself and there was a language barrier so they called someone. 10 minutes later someone comes to meet me but by then I changed my mind and walked out. I felt not welcomed at all. I'll never shop there and don't recommend it to anyone else even if it is the best garlic bread.

Vallarta has a good variety of produce to chooses from, spices for typical Hispanic food. There is a Carniceria where one could buy freshly cut meat. The food court has a large seating area and options from tacos tamales or licuados and smoothies. there are baked goods as well.

I recently went to order a cake the employees in the bakery area were just talking while I was waiting I took a picture of this would u eat this cake ? It already had happen to my mom she bought a cake from this same location they just covered the top with more frosty so it doesn’t look like that and they sale it how disgusting is that

I’m new to this area and this place is my new favorite grocery store to shop at. All their bread and produce is super fresh. The employees are hard working and friendly. The store is kept clean too! If I could give more stars I would!! I highly recommend this place.

I bought these mango couple of days ago, and I can't even imagine why Vallarta supermarket sells bad mangoes. I bought 10 of them, and they all look great on the outside and black and brown on the inside. There is no quality control, and very disappointing.

Son’s first birthday without cake because bakery did not make it (even with 50 percent deposit paid)Ordered a cake a week in advance, customer service was helpful. The manager that took my order was nice, but it was her first time filling out an order. Showed up the morning of the party to get the cake as agreed upon in the order and they said they didn’t make it because “they didn’t have the invoice.” Left without a cake for my son’s 1st birthday party.

I hadn't been in this store in yearsMy recent visit confirmed why. Just happen to be in this center and needed 1item so popped here since it was convenient. To be fair, the store inside was clean, organized and well stocked. I just prefer to shop where English is spoken. The lot area is not so great and kinda spooky with what hangs out there.

Stopped in to grab some lunch after a long day. Really cool store. Huge to go counter with a big selection. Really nice pastries displayed in a huge case. Just a really big selection of everything in the store. Ill be going back. Employees seemed really nice as well.

I love this place for things I can't find elsewhere. Their meat department is great. Can pretty much get anything. Prices always good. Take out foods are good!! Bakery section is also good. Alot of Hispanic foods,but quality things. Staff not so friendly bit just shopping anyway.

Sold me rotten pork. When I went for a refund, the cashier pretty much accused me of leaving the meat in my car. Which is completely unreasonable since I purchased the meat, got home, SMELLED IT, called the store and brought back WITHIN AN HOUR.Aside from the actual experience, selling rotten pork is dangerous for the consumer. It can cause numerous health issues. If you look at other reviews, this is not a rare occurrence.

The staff was friendly and efficient. I was able to have a quick visit. My experience was great. All the food seemed fresh and the store looked clean to me. It was easy to find what I need and they have a good variety of products. I did not know they have a taqueria in there which seemed good too. The food looked really appetizing. I love coming here for the bread.

We have been shopping know for 2 years and we have been buying our meat here which we won’t anymore. We now have had 3 bad experiences with the meat that is sold is bad and is no good for human consumption. There is nothing worse than spending time preparing it and cooking it and can’t eat it. There is no quality control and I’m sure they will poison someone if they already haven’t. Third world countries have better meat departments than this place. I’d advise not to buy here as you might end up in the hospital getting your stomach pumped out. 🤬😡

This place is so gross. If you can afford to shop somewhere else please do. I just opened a fresh package of ground sausage bought from here and there were literal pieces of blue plastic inside of the meat. Wish I took pictures but had to write about how awful it is that your employees carelessly handle MEAT which is something that can make someone incredibly sick.

It's been a while, since I shopped here, found all products that I needed. Vegetables are not high quality. Tried the food court for the first time and it has horrible food. I ordered 2 tacos one asada one pastor which took 30 minutes to make(everything is pre-made and ready to serve) shouldn't take that long. I watched the 2 cooks scramble, to make the food. I do want to say that they were very friendly. I left and ate the tacos at home, the meat tasted funny and the salsa poured on top of tacos was spoiled. Very disappointed in the quality of food. I don't recommend to eat there.

OH MY GOODNESS I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! New favorite!!! So many trulyamazing finds here. Things I've never seen before in my life. They import items from Mexico and Central America. There is a juice bar where juice is made fresh on the spot. I recommend the grapefruit pineapple. It tastes like candy. The staff were wonderfully kind. The customers were also sweet. I am just beyond amazed at how many cool things I found here and the price was absolutely fantastic. This is an hour drive for me but you bet I will be back!!

When it comes to pastries there no other place in Santa Maria like it; wonderful pastries made onsite every day. I love their agua frescas; the orchata is so sweet and milky, it tastes wonderful by itself or mixed with a little vodka or rum 😀

Some of the food is good. Some of the prices are decent. But Really poor customer service and if you go to buy a few items be prepared to wait a long time in line Specially on weekends. Small parking lot and they're always short on cashiers. They really need a 15 items or less cashier or self check out. Over all Good convenient store. 2 stars for the way they handle things. Needs a lot of improvement.

If you're a white person I highly advise you to not go to this store. I had a horrible, scary experience there. I was physically bumped into a paper towel display and fell to the floor along with the paper towels. No one offered to help me up. When I refused to set the display back up because I felt the girl that deliberately bumped me should be the one to do it, several customers surrounded me as if they were going to attack me. As they started calling me all kinds of bad names, I shoved my way past them & ran to my car & got out of there as fast as I could.So NO I DON'T RECOMMEND SHOPPING AT EITHER VALLARTA STORES IN SANTA MARIA.

I really like the fresh fruits and vegetables but will never buy meat or chicken there. I had to throw away the chicken I got because it smelled so bad and also the beef to make beef soup. The ground turkey smelled so bad we couldn't eat it.

had to return some Mojarra (Tilapia) fish because it was rotten.🤢When I returned it, they gave me solid-frozen Mojarra. The manager then wanted to charge $2 for the difference in weight instead of an apology.

I love Vallarta. The prices are the best, the produce is fresh with great variety including tropical fruits. The restaurant is super good and prices are very low. Juice bar is top notch and rivals fancy expensive places. Despite being a very ethnic store, everyone working speaks English, but I'm sure they appreciate a white guy trying his Spanish. You really can't go wrong here.

Just went grocery shopping with my family and I got the worst customer service you can get. Very rude and unprofessional cashier I think her name was Jessica or something like that she was arguing over produce and her manager Martha didn’t seem to care about the customer and defend me as she was scanning my food she was throwing it down the sliding table. So rude she didn’t even greet me as a customer just with a long face and didn’t even say thank you have a good night. I don’t know how they can even hire such unprofessional people. Very disappointed don’t want to go back ever very bad customer service.

I would give it zero stars if it was possible. I spent about $250 in groceries just to find out all the chicken I bought had gone bad already. The meat had a horrible stench. I should have figured if it was on sale. The tortillas had mold in the middle of the pack. The cilantro turned brown the following day. Very disappointed!!

At this vallarta supermarket the cashier call a person that was walking by a cashier, instead of me that I was on line waiting for my turn.the person saw that was waiting on line and told the woman cashier that I was waiting. She insisted that it was ok for this person to go with her. The person kept on walking away from the cashier. The cashier made a sign with her hand for me to go to her. I thank the person that let me go first. I said that is a good person.thats a good person the cashier didn't say anything I said its honest and fair. Tha cashier responded yes it is. It bothered me that that cashier was not good honest and fair with me. She was not professional and is giving a bad reputation to the store. That can cause for me and other people not to go to that store.its one item that I find there and not to many stores carry. But for sure I'm not going to by many groceries there anymore. Its not the first time that I have bad experiences.

I had to write this as I wrote to the company about a week later June 3, 2020 about a BAD experience i had with them when I bought a refried beans serving to take to a pot luck for my work? Long story short, I got food poisoning from and it was really bad. I didnt know what was wrong with me due the Covid-19 and all and I ended up going to the doctor and the hospital and spent another 150 $ for that vist since I didnt know what was wrong with me. They should know better than to sell bacteria infected food. I will not give them any star , but since the post wouldnt allow me not to post it without a star, I did :(. Since I spent 175$ due to me eating their BAD food. I will continue to shop there ocasionally but not eat their hot food.
