Randy was heaven sent!! We were looking at natural gas water heaters when he approached us. Randy broke it down and explained to us all the water heaters they had in stock, and helped us come to conclusion of which one would best work for us. I really appreciated his knowledgeable advice, he helped us load our cart. It’s 2024, where can you find top tier customer service? Randy at Home Depot!

So sad by the experience I had with The Home Depot and the company they use TRUJILLO DELIVERY SERVICES INC. DOT# 2714626 and their drivers Ramon and Josue. Backstory- it’s my moms big 5 5 in April and we’re hosting familia from all over the country so we decided to splurge and treat ourselves to the Install and Haul of our new Dishwasher since my pops walked out on us literally a week before Christmas. (He don’t deserve a Queen like my momma anyways so good riddance) and then I wound up in the ICU the beginning of January after contracting staph AND pneumonia in my left lung due to me being immuno-compromised. Which of course started going septic. So we’re taking each day as it comes and trying to make things as easy as possible which doesn’t help that my moms was having a flare up last week due to this weather (goddess bless these rains tho) which gives her a bit of brain fog. So our original delivery date of 2/15 was misread by her as the delivery time 2:15 so needless to say we had to reschedule. So today, 2/20 I wake up at 5 am to deep scrub under sink with bleach and Clorox as I’m about to start under the area where the dishwasher goes I hear the truck roll up. I greet them good morning and the very first thing the driver Ramon has to say, —AFTER giving our front lawn decor a very thorough scan up and down with his eyes— “What was up with last week?” (not even a good morning :/ ) to which I then had to sympathetically justify my moms disability to a total stranger :(( So Ramon and Josue of TRUJILLO DELIVERY SERVICES INC. DOT# 2714626 walk in and Ramon looks under the sink and I try to hand Ramon a wrench because I was having trouble removing the nut that connects the water line to the access area but before I could ask for help and explain that I have bleach and disinfectant to clean the mice droppings that my father promised he had dealt with when he walked out on us Ramon interjects that he’s not installing anyhting and that it doesn’t matter that I’m about to sanitize it. And that I need to call Home Depot to get a refund and then reschedule the install and haul and that this is not his problem. So I get the names and info and get on google after they watch me drag the old dishwasher by myself to the curb only to discover TRUJILLO DELIVERY SERVICES INC. DOT# 2714626 only has two Drivers??? Which brings me to me question of who is holding TRUJILLO DELIVERY SERVICES INC. DOT# 2714626 accountable for their behavior? And how many more of my brothers and sisters have had to will continue to face prejudice by these two lowlifes? Please if you are thinking of using the Santa Maria Local Business TRUJILLO DELIVERY SERVICES INC. DOT# 2714626. Know that you are not important to them and that Home Depot in Santa Maria does not care enough about Santa Maria as a community put a stop this disgusting behavior.

Bought a garage door from Home Depot in the beginning of December. To sum it up, my garage door wasn't installed until beginning of January because they were"waiting on parts from an outside company." Well that should have been a red flag. I only had my garage working for a couple of weeks when it suddenly stopped closing.Now Home Depot and the company that they hired to install my garage have me going in loops with Chamberlain (the brand of the garage opener) saying | should be the one filing an appeal with them. At one point I was even troubleshooting with Chamberlain on the phone because Home Depot and the garage door company said it had to be me. it's now been a month and my brand new garage door is just sitting on the ground not working because no one is able to fix it.Someone was supposed to come out and try to replace part that Chamberlain sent me after I troubleshoot it. But so far no one has come to my home. Do not buy garage doors from Home Depot. You're probably better off buying one from a garage door company. Thousands of dollars down the drain. I am a hard-working person and my hard earned money went to Home Depot for nothing ! feel robbed. With the recent flooding and rain I can't even put my car into a garage.

Treated in such a rude way today. The cashier Gabriela is scanning the items in my cart - 7 boxes 1 shipping tape (very simple transaction) - she asks me how many boxes and I said 2-2-3 I proceed to pay (by now she's had the worst attitude) as I'm walking out of the store she literally jumped out and grabbed from my cart the tape, takes it back to the register without saying a word and I look at her like 'excuse me?' To what she responds "$9.53" I'm shocked, and asked again, what happened? She says well you have to pay for it. I'm offended at this point... look at my receipt since I figured the amount was close to what I assumed and tell her- wait so you charged me for 9 boxes but I only have 7, she says very annoyed that's right I asked you- I tell her, I think you're suggesting I'm trying to steal $9s worth of tape? When I assumed you charged me already. You could have a better attitude in fact you are being very rude right now. You'd think she would apologize or kindly clarify the confusion, but instead she reminds me I owe $9.53- "and for your refund go to customer support" I'm mind blown of her attitude. Someone so rude should not be customer service. No apology was offered, I just went got my reimbursement and told the cashier what happened then left very upset. Definitely not going back.

Very nice Store in a great part of Santa Maria. The staff is always very helpful and friendly and go out of their way to assist their customers. I’ve always had great experiences @ this HD. Side note, their garden center isn’t geared towards suburban homes, very basic.

Home depot's got it all I mean not all but the great place to go if you're trying to build anything well not if they don't have car parts but anything around the house in the yard they've got it and they usually get someone to help you with whatever your trying to do.

I love home depot but get lost in all the products they sell. It gives me tons of ideas. They have self check out too which is nice. The employee we worked with, was very helpful too. It's nice to have employees who know which isle you need to find stuff. Great Job Home Depot.

11/10/2023: this is the experience that brought 5 stars to 2 stars. We ordered custom blinds 4 months ago and paid for them to measure and install. One window came back with incorrectly sized cuts. The installer/HD reordered the shades but again came back the wrong size. We were told it was reordered, however we heard nothing after over a month went by. I went to the store and spoke with an assistant manager who basically blew me off. I had to tell her I was going to talk to the GM about this experience. Then she started doing her job (looking up order in the computer, coordinated with a rep from the blinds section). She also said it was my choice if I decided to choose Lowe’s in the future. Definitely a bad experience over 4 months but the assistant manager figured out how to make it worse.Good selection and prices. I like it better than Lowe's when it comes time for real projects.8/10/23: Nick in appliances goes above and beyond to take care of the customer. He is very appreciated

A young man in home depot named Dalton was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. I concecuintly threw my rewards card, and my credit card away... I spoke to the mgr. And she didn't act like she cared. .so goodbye to home Depot and I will see if Lowe's is better

I usually place my order online and go inside and pick it up. I find this is the quickest way to get in and out if in a hurry. The customer service people at the order desk are usually quick and efficient and make the visit an easy trip.

Not sure of the name of the short, older woman Working at the paint counter on Thursday April 27th around 9:30 AM was but she was super sassy! I told her too! After my incredible experience yesterday with Kathleen in the pro section, this makes me sad. Not sure if she had a bad day but im struggling with a baby to find something.... and she continued taking other in front of me. Good job kathleen but shame on the lady who was not interested in helping me after 15 min of waiting and being skipped multiple times...

Home depot is a great place to shop. Cheaper than Lowes, but Lowes has better customer service. Home Depot?? Really hard to find someone to help you. They have a great selection on most things. Lines there are short, fast.

Unworthy for businessSo here we come again 6 months after I had my rotten encounter with the assistant manage (DAVID) at the Santa Maria store. I placed an order online using the Home Depot “GIFT CARD”, I took the item back to the store with the original online purchase receipt to return it and get my money back on my original form of payment so I can place another order online using the gift card balance, I was very confused when the crewmember had to call the assistant manager to process the return as I had everything in order to get the item returned and refunded effortlessly. Here comes David and immediately recognized me from our first deplorable encounter and remembered my name. I right away sensed a hostile, enmity and anger from his demeanor; I knew then that the return won’t be an easy one and he will create a troubling situation and make it hard transaction. He wanted to issue me a store credit instead of refunding the money on my original method of payment “Gift Card” I used to buy the item. He insisted that this is the only way he can process the refund. I did make it clear that the store credit cannot be used to place an online order and other manger did manage to refund me the cash from a previous incident like this one without any problem. He refused to make it easy and found the perfect opportunity to avenge me as a payback for the unfavorable review I left him 6 months ago. He claimed that he can’t process a cash return since I did not pay for the item in cash, and when I confronted him that the same principal should apply when processing the refund and the refund should go back on a GIFT CARD, he immediately apposed it and refused to acknowledge the facts. I was very adamant that I will only accept the refund on a Gift Card, he then amused me with the most senseless and idiotic idea of taking the item and try to sell to someone so I can get my money back. I had my share of encounters with stupid people but this one tops them all. When I mentioned that he will get another uncomplimentary review, he did not express any apprehension or demonstrate the slightest concern, instead he welcomed the idea. If there is any oversight from upper management, I would urge them to re-coach this guy for his mischievous conduct and screen his abstract behavior and make him understand the difference between business and personal. His role in managing the store is nothing short but a display of incompetence, irrational conduct and poor performance and lack of basics customer service protocols.
