This is the first TJ Maxx, where it basically has a nonexistent men’s section, no men’s shoes, a minimal amount of quality items for purchase, is incredibly, incredibly unclean and unorganized, and just feels like chaos…This is more like a Ross where I live. Incredibly disappointing and sad. I thought California would have better.

This store was a complete zoo and a mess. I feel like it was somewhat controlled and the store was doing all that they possibly could considering it was the day before Christmas eve, but they could have a few more employees working and organizing the items that were on the ground, and the clothes that were scattered all over the place and thrown on the floor. Not impressed at all. The line moved somewhat quickly however, they should’ve had every single registered open instead of having people wait 20+ minutes to check out.

Good finds, great service and employees are efficient and friendly but the line to the register sometimes wraps around but that’s even when there enough cashiers. Not a bad bad thing but just make sure you’re not in a hurry.

Don't go here during the month of December! The line to the cashiers wrapped around the store! Things are stocked all over the place without any organization! The aisles are too close together for people to maneuver shopping carts! It was a nightmare! Thanks to social media, people post what they find at Marshall's and TJ Maxx, which then creates more shoppers and an unpleasant experience when trying to shop.

I felt compelled to review this store because of the kind of experience I received the other day while shopping at Santa Maria TJ Maxx.I walked in for just a couple of items, so I didn’t pick up a basket on my way in. I was looking around for a tea kettle and a worker approached me and asked if I needed help looking for something. I told her what it was and she walked me over to them. I grabbed the tea kettle I wanted and began to grab a few more things off my list. As I was holding my items in my hands and still shopping lol, a worker acknowledged me and asked if I’d like a basket and that she would grab one for me. She brought me a basket and I thanked her. 3 more workers after that greeted me and were very friendly and the cashier even offered if I would like help out with my bags. I didn’t need the help, but just appreciated the offer. When I left the store, I felt better than when I walked in there. Good customer service is a rarity these days. It’s good to know there’s still places that hire employees that have good customer service skills. I only wish I knew their names so that they can be acknowledged for their acts of kindness.

I had an amazing visit to this store! The selection was great and found what I was looking for. I had an issue with my card at check out and the manager Nicole went out her way to take care of me. The card problem was fixed because of her amazing help!!

the item i continually look for was there, they regularly get stock in and immediately stock the shelves. Any worker seems to know about shipment status, when it comes in, when it's going to hit the shelves,etc.

I love shopping here. I find so many things for everyone in the family and at great prices. The only downside is that there have been several occasions where I would find myself waiting in a long line where only one employee is at the register. Other than that, they have great customer service and the store is always neat and clean!

Love TJ Maxx lot of cool stuff in there and a lot of great help. But I love most about TJ Maxx is a toy section for dogs inexpensive and tough they don't just rip apart. My dog is a super chewer so I really appreciate the quality of your products thank you.

The "makeup" aisle was just a select few brands and colors of (overpriced) eyeshadow. Don't try to buy foundation here if you're white cos they don't have anything lighter than dark. The whole store was way more expensive than I anticipated, but when you're poor everything is more expensive than you anticipated. The highlight of my trip there was this purse. Not too bad for $30. Let's put it this way: if I didn't have gift cards to use, you would be hard pressed to find me here. The staff was really nice, though don't go at 9pm or later because they close at 9:30pm and they remind you every 5-10 minutes. LMBO

As a someone who works from home I enjoy getting out of the house from time to time. I get lost looking at all the things, ALLLLL the things. The store associates start to follow and watch me as if I am up to no good. Other than that it’s one of my favorite places to get lost inn.
