Spencer's is a locally owned market with great prices, a full service meat counter, and lots of local produce and products. The quality of their meat is second to none.The staff is helpful and friendly. You just don't find wonderful stores like this anymore.

It's way too pricey for me. The farmers market thing that got there is pretty good but the meat is ridiculous most of the stuff they have there is way too pricey it's like Vons or Albertsons

They're a little pricier because it's a small local grocery. They sell a variety of food such as various types of salads, hot food, and the sandwiches are phenomenal. The food is very affordable and I often come here to grab something on my lunch break

Great market and deli. They USED to have the best chicken strips(nice dark brown and crispy breading) here for 10+ years but for some reason they switched them up a couple months back and now they look and taste like Tyson chicken strips .. a big DOWNGRADE. Ill never buy chicken strips here again since I asked if they were going back to how they used to be and was told no. A true SHAME

This is a high-quality grocery store that carries fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, and a large variety of designer food items you can not find anywhere else in Santa Maria. For instance, Knotts Berry Farms preserves, and Jelly can not be found in the local markets in Santa Maria, but Spencer's Market in Orcutt, CA, carries it. The meat department carries high-end cuts of Harris Meats, and they are all fresh and well worth the price. This particular market is the best market in Santa Maria Valley.

We stopped off here en route to Santa Monica from Monterey on a road trip and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We were here on holiday from the UK and as we were leaving a member of staff gave us a bag of locally made produce (salsa, tortillas, crudities and strawberries) as a gift. So very generous and thoughtful and just what we needed for our long drive. Thank you.

Deli closed at 8 pm today, I came in at 7:15pm and the girl at the deli told me she was closed and turned me away. This post is posted at 7:30 pm same day. It's the closest grocery store to Airport Hotel so if you are getting in late or coming after a long day of work and looking for some prepped food within walking distance, not from a fast food joint, you are S.O.L.

Stop here every time I'm in town because their wine selection is so good and very reasonably priced. Super friendly staff. Always clean. Always something new and delicious to check out. Way better than any neighborhood market you're used to. Highly recommend!

I wish this store was bigger and had a greater selection - that's my biggest complaint. Their staff is very friendly and helpful, and the quality of their meats are good. I wish they had a full-service butcher. Their produce is hit-or-miss, but that's not uncommon at all grocery stores here. They are a great resource for local products and I especially like their store brand stuff. Their salsas, sauces and cakes are great! Their carrot cake is the best I've ever had!! I really hope they never stop making it.

Great local as possible produce and always check specials for them along with excellent fresh meat, even tomahawk steaks. The deli has great by the pound meat, cheese, salads of all kinds, fried goods, etc. Not the cheapest, but do their best to keep us happy. If they don't have it, ask...they just might soon.

Its a grocery store so you probably know what to expect. They're small but that gives it a local feel with fresh and quality things you can't always find other places (me daughters favorite is sweetbreads) . They have been upgrading and remodeling and its really nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. A long time ago I went in early (I walked there) and wanted a hot cup of coffee. I asked if they had any and they said no and whoever I asked was just like, "you know what, come with me" and grabbed me a cup from the break room like a Saint. They carry hot coffee in the mornings now.

A great place to pick up some quick groceries and find snacks! The deli is normally a smash but they recently changed the chicken strips and they are not as crispy as they once were.

Since the remodeling, this place is soon much better...I love the Boreshead meats....the beef is tasty and there are the usual great varieties of produce. I used to be all about the local Albertsons but now I'm mostly here we only occasionally a visit there.....I like the dairy here better as well......specially the milk....

Great little market with a wide variety of fresh produce. My shopping trip was quick and painless due to their efficient store layout. I was blown away, expecting for the shopping trip to take much longer. Has a small town market vibe with extremely friendly and helpful staff. I'll definitely be back.

I was not happy with the grocery store option here in Santa Maria. We recently moved here from San Antonio,Tx. I love H.E.B it is the best grocery store Ever!!!! Since H.E.B is not an option here in Santa Maria. I will continue to shop at Spencer's because it reminds me of a small version H.E.B. Love the shopping cart!

I like this place. It's a little more expensive than other grocery stores. The produce section is slim but caters to their clientele. Deli is pretty cool amd Harris ranch steaks are nice.

Used to love to come in here for sandwiches. Last 2 times the sandwiches have been really sad looking. I also hate that they give you the pickles and pepperchinis together in the same bag. The baggir leaks and makes your whole sandwich soggy. Need to find a new sandwich spot i guess

Love, Love, Love this market! The best meat in town and their staff is great! Go on a Sat. in the spring and summer for Tri-Tip, BBQ pork ribs, or chicken hot off the oak grill! Super good!

For a small local market, they have a pretty amazing variety of unique items. Great little deli. Their fried chicken is the bomb! The staff are always friendly.
