It's a bit tucked away so the store can be easily driven past, but this place has great prices and can help you save a bit of money compared to a lot of the other stores in the area.

I could usually find what I need and it's a good enough Smart & final. However, the store gets extremely packed very quickly, and they won't call for extra checkers until it's a snake of a line throughout half of the store. Obviously, it's a very popular store, and they need to be aware of this. Otherwise, it's been fine and I'm able to get the items that I need for my work.

I normally don’t take the time to write reviews, but this gentleman took the time to help not only myself but at least 4 other customers behind me in line, so I feel I owe this to him. His “Lane closed” sign was up and we all slightly glanced as we walked by, (his lane was the 15 items or less lane and the other three lane lines were longer than a CVS receipt) he had seen we only had a few items and yelled out “come on over here, you guys are good” With a smile on his face. A store worker went out of her way to help me select the items I needed for a nachos sale fundraiser at our school. I told her I no idea what i was doing and she laughed and literally walked me around the store (I think she was just about to be off for the night) and pointed out all the items I would need. Saved the day. This woman definitely deserves a raise for this wonderful customer service!

I called before going there to ask if they had a specific item and found out, after speaking to a manager who was very helpful, that they indeed did have the item. The manager put some of the specific item to the side for me so I could be sure to purchase them. Very pleasing and satisfying. I will definitely shop here again.

Plenty of items missing again. Not the cleanest and no carts! Literally every 5 or 10 minutes you could hear them yelling that somebody needed to get carts somebody needed to get carts because there were no carts when you walked up to the front door!!!

Never coming back.Bought a big pack of beer, while I was still in the store after paying. My husband called that he got a better price at foodmax. So I asked to return But they say I can not return it. The store manager said they have a policy No Return. We will write to the corporate.

I went this morning for a few things. I realized I forgot to bring my mask which was very important to have to shop. I asked the clerk if they had any and explained that I forgot. They did and I was accommodated. People were very busy and the store was also. Thanks for helping me during this time of Covis19

The checkers there have always been awesome but today I was there with my two year old (who is a handful but a beautiful one) and this checker was not helpful at all.He asked if I want bags I said yes please and he just stacked my grocery up and glanced at the bags on the counter .I paid and still was struggling to bag and he actually clocked out for lunch and left me there.i was like WOW

Ok so my grandmother is handicap and so she uses those electric carts and after she was done shopping I took it back in but it was beeping like crazy and I couldn’t find a way to turn it off even after going to my car to ask my grandmother so I asked the male employee with a mustache that was pushing carts as he approached the door for assistance in turning the thing off. He assisted and I apologized for the inconvenience cause I understood that asking him to help me would’ve taken him away from whatever task he was doing and I just felt bad but then as I was walking away he says under his breath and I quote, “yeah everyone’s sorry”. If my grandmother wasn’t with me I’d have been able to talk to him about my issue with what he said but she needed to get home. So now I sit here in my home angry at not only his rude remark but at myself for letting it slide. I get that people have rough days I do but stuff like this is unacceptable.

I recently started shopping at Smart and Final in Santa Maria, Ca. I really like the produce and the store in general. I have started doing a lot of shopping there instead of FoodMax. I would like to see Lite and Fit Greek yogurt stocked better, some economy sizes like the 18 pack. I buy a lot of that item. Your hire knowledgeable workers.

Good store with normally good prices, but lately prices have jumped up, some quite dramatically (I.e. 3lb bagged salad from $2.99 to $6.99). Produce is a little more expensive than FoodsCo but cheaper than Vons/Albertsons.

You've got to be kidding! Figueroa Mountain Brewery rocks. This upstart brewery has won more medals in recent years than any other craft beer maker I believe (caveat) in the country. Just check it out. You won't be sorry.

Santa Maria store, mgr.with lousy attitude kept teller customer s waiting to get checked out. She in hurry to be out before 5pm caused errors. Sad sad that's why better arroyo grande and San Luis ObispoVery friendly and helpful.💓

You get good value for the money, the vegetables and fruits are fresher, and the prices are competitive if not lower than other supermarkets in the city. Some of their team members are moody at times.

Didn't have the same stock the Arroyo Grande does. Floor staff was next to impossible to find and then kinda rude and unhelpful. Guess I'll have to stick with Arroyo Grande. They were great.
