We found some great Home items at Ross today. They do need to hire more Cashiers tho, People were buying lots of things and it took Cashiers a lot of time just helping 1 Customer. Huge Line & only 2 Cashiers.

Great prices discounted wise here for items but you can leave sometimes with nothing because of the very limited items. Especially males

The store is a complete mess, but the worst part about it is every time I select something and then I go to check out the line is wrapped around through the isles, and there’s one or two registers opened helping all these poor customers. Of course I get frustrated and just drop my stuff off at the door and leave. It’s a complete waste of time because it’s so poorly managed. They need more cash registers to check folks out!!

They have a large selection of shoes. My son needed larger shoes and I was able to find 4 good pairs and for a decent price.

It's ok! Never enough cahiers!! Line gets long. If you want to stand and look through all those racks, ok. Prices are good. Just don't feel it's worth the time or wait. Will shop if it's a special item I need.

I was able to find what I looked for. The Cashier was not very friendly. Acted like they didn't want to be at work, and hurried through checkout process. (Even though there was no one behind me.)

We highly recommend this Ross Dress For Less Department Store in Santa Maria California to all our friends and family. The clothing and shoes are from top name brands and the prices can't be beat. We saved alot of money this evening and we definitely will be returning soon to this Department Store.

I never really enjoy my experience at Ross Dress for Less. As a man, the section for us is small and usually unorganized, mostly because of the shoppers. I rarely find something I can wear. For the ladies, 3/4 of the store is dedicated to them. As with most department stores. You can find some gems once in a while.

No Air or A/C in that store!!! Long lines!!!! I dont know how the employees can work, or how people can shop, or wait in those looong lines, in that hot and stuffy store!!!!I like shopping there, but only if they have Air flowing through out the store. I don't just mean air flowing threw the two opened doors! That isn't enough air for everyone to breathe!

Good variety of clothing, large store with lots of customers there at the same time as we were there. Employees were the worst part of my visit. Rude! One treated me as a "potential" thief (if I were to steal, it certainly wouldn't be from a Ross store!) Easy to find, using Google directions.

Good prices, cute stuff, store adequately clean & organized. Dressing room attendant was a bit overzealous with her position however.I respect that they must either job and count my items... but was it necessary to make me wait while she checked & exchanged the size tags on the hangers and swap my number halfway through?

It is nice to see things that are cheap but nice. The only thing is some areas are Messi and all over the place some of it is just the people not putting the things back but some they could clean a bit more or organiza I been at other stores and they are a bit more organiza

Place is a bit disorganized, but something you'll see in a store with this many customers. Staff is very helpful, as well as the prices are manageable. Would recommend to anyone who wants to find nice and inexpensive things. Parking lot is also very expanded enough for you to not walk along distance, as well as this place is close to the biggest stores in Santa Maria.

An employee admitted that they put non clearance items in the clearance section and then refused to honor the clearance and tried to say thst even though they put it in clearance it's not clearance and then proceeded to laugh and talk about it and me to another employee as I was leaving the store.It's ridiculous when thrift stores (I work at one) can keep better organization than an actual retail store that gets bulk items. And the fact that their employees think it's okay to laugh at and talk about customers they tried to scam is absolutely disgusting. This ross is a mess.

Cashier's are chatting, no one is free to help out a client who is in need. I went in at night and I was definitely shocked. I was never greeted or acknowledged entering or exiting through the door or through the store. Needed help finding a table cloth no one around. Poorly staffed.
