I would love to give a zero star review. My grandmother just passed, her neighbors found her before my family and I were were informed and they went out of their way to find somewhere for her dog while they attempted to contact us. Hearing the news of my grandmother was shocking enough, and now having to find arrangements for her dog is another difficult situation. We are a small family and live far from each other. I am the only one near by and unable to care for her dog. When her neighbors were able to contact us they gave us the phone number to this place. When two of us attempted to contact them we both left voice-mails and didn't hear back until the next day. Nancy contacts my father and he attempts to politely ( like any normal decent person would) ask questions and seek options but she is incredibly unprofessional and decides to harass him on why he can't get her dog like we asked for all of this to happen. She knows at this point he doesn't even live in this state! She proceeds to call me back and asks me the same questions and I am not a confrontational person. When she came at me I was so shocked and I am still infuriated hours later. She proceeds to harass me on why I can't care for the dog and attempts to guilt me about them helping him, when we weren't even aware of the situation! How horrific this whole situation has been. Nancy, you should be ashamed of yourself and should not be working somewhere claiming to be humane when you are the most apathetic person I have ever come across. Thanks for the "HeLp"

Our older dog needed her nails trimmed. We called Polished Pet and got right in. A wonderful groomer met us in the parking lot and did a beautiful job on the dog's nails. We've taken her to other groomers over the years but none did the excellent job this place did for her. The price was very reasonable. We'll definitely be taking Maggie back for more services with Polished Pet.

Had medical emergency and Polished Pet immediately took our 2 large rowdy dogs and took amazing care of them! I honestly can’t express how thankful I am to them! They are very kind there and would definitely trust them with my dogs again! Will recommend to everyone. Thank you Polished Pet!!

Have been taking my dog there for 8yrs. The girls are great with her. Grooming service in good. Kenneling service we use frequently when we go out of town. Very good. They also have a self supporting rescue.

I will never take my dogs to be boarded here again. They did not follow feeding instructions. They only had one person taking care of all the dogs. Both my dogs were traumatized with the neglect. If you care about your dogs do not bring them here!

The people here are very good to the dogs. My dog actually wags her tail when we go there, and I can tell that the people treat her nicely by the way she responds to them. It is not fancy, but I don't think dogs really care--they seem more focused on what dogs like than what people like, which is fine with me. I feel good about taking my dog here for grooming or for the kennel.

Worst place ever I will never drop off my animals there she assumes and steals animals she took 2 dogs of my own and she kept them cause she assumed that the dogs weren't being taken care of cause I didn't have a right home for them even tho they get everything they want as dogs, I wouldn't leave any animal there she also threatens. Update: she sold them and got them back cause she was scared when we told her they weren't our dogs they had belonged to another lady that we were watching over. Drives a Porsche but still manages to steal 2 dogs

Polished Pet is the perfect place to entertain your furry friend ( dog or cat) while you are working, traveling, or just need a sanity break. I trust them with my German Shepherd puppy. My puppy, along with every other dog I have encountered going in, is excited to return. He gets to play with other dogs while he is there, and comes home happy !!! Polished pet does a fantastic job grooming him, and is even able to trim his nails. He loves polished pet people. They also rescue animals, so when I have extra blankets, toys or food, I donate them. I highly recommend Polished Pet, and am extremely grateful for the loving care my puppy receives while in their care. Their prices are very reasonable.

I lived in Ventura and had a groomer my dog never bite or even tried to he was only four yrs old and when I took him here I regret it .I had a 8:30 appointment and did get back till4:30 . She said he tried to bit her and he was very aggressive. I toll her her he never act like that .I never bought him back I found a groomer that does a beautiful job on my fur baby and he never tried to bit her ever she has a been cutting his hair for about four to five yrs and he never pit her so I love the groomer I have now

I hear THE BEST GROOMING FOR DOGS!! HOWEVER! Because of COVID! NOT taking new customers. Been trying to make appointment for 2 yrs. I WILL KEEP trying. By the way?? Many groomers are not taking NEW CUSTONERS because of COVID. SOME have closed. Good luck!

Extremely appalled and disgusted with how they treat their customers. My mother brought in our 10 year old schnauzer for a grooming and the workers berated her calling her “evil”, “cruel” and “selfish” for not putting our little girl down since she was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease. Our beautiful Butterfly was still walking and able to eat. It is at the owners discretion whether or not a pet should be euthanized. My mother left this place in tears. Needless to say we will NEVER bring any of our pets here again. Their 4 star rating does not make up for their poor customer service.

The place and staff were really nice. I recommend that you bring all paperwork required a couple days before you go out of town. This way you can drop your furry love one and head out.

I have always boarded one or two Labs and they are just fine when I get them back. I was running late and they stayed behind so that I could pick up my girls and not go a night without them. I have no issues and have done this for 20 years.

I just adopted two rescue dogs from Benita at Polished Pets and just want to say that this lady has a huge heart. Yes, the place is a little chaotic and noisy—she runs a grooming and boarding business, so it follows that there are dogs present and dogs bark. I don't know what problem the other reviewer had, but he's barking up the wrong tree (excuse the pun). She takes in unwanted animals and socializes them and then finds them forever homes. Not only does Benita care deeply about animals but she's also doing something about their welfare. She should be supported and praised, not criticized. If there were more people like her, the world would be a better place.

If i could put 0 stars i would!!!! i was talking to alady on the phone and i asked if they do grooming services for rabbits and she said no and right when i was abount to ask another question she said bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and hung up on me. POlished pet is the last place on earth i will ever consider there services!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
