Luis, at the Santa Maria store, was so helpful and kind when he helped me at the register.Paola (groomer/mgr.) and her team (can’t remember everyone’s name), Tabitha, and Anna (sp) are always professional, patient (listen to me talk about my dogs) and super friendly. My pets, even the super nervous one, love it there. They look awesome when they’re done with their spa treatment. Love Paola’s and Anna's bows too!

For the love of God just hire more people. This store is always understaffed. I have never seen more than 2 people on the sales floor. It's very unfair to the employees. Constantly running back and forth to help people. Lines are always way too long. Staff is very knowledgeable and always helpful though.

Pretty good selection of items for your pets. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me figure out several things I could do to take care of an issue I was having with my cat at the time. And made recommendations between products that got me better products at a cheaper price.

I just recently (not even 10 mins ago) went shopping for my new puppy. There was a long line at register 1 and I heard another cashier state “I can help someone at register 3!” Myself and another customer (male) formed a line. The male was assisted and I was turned around by Patti the cashier. I proceeded to register 1 and she repeated the same thing stating that she was available and serviced another customer.Patti was very rude and dismissive. I will no longer patronize w. This store.

Pet Smart use to be it!! Now Petco is here. Pet Smart has stepped up to the challenge. I like to go there more. Prices are the same, but BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE NOW!! You can actually have someone approach you and help you. Very knowledgeable people. Sometimes slow at checkout. But overall they have really improved.

Had already searched the other pet store for the item I was looking for with no luck. Walked into Petsmart, and was pleasantly surprised to see how clean, organized and well stocked everything was! Was immediately greeted upon entering and the employee was extremely courteous. great experience !

Have everything that your pet will need. They offer tank water testing for free. The test strips are really expensive if you want to buy it but it's nice that they offer that service.

I was having issues with the "online get your order brought to your car because your cat is wailing in there" application. It kept telling me I could have the litter box I needed last night on Tuesday. Too late Petsmart.com.I called the Santa Maria CA store and spoke to a lovely lady, who not only went shelf to shelf matching items from the website for me, she honored the website pricing as well! That knocked a $37 litter box in store down to $18.05!I came into the store to purchase my items, already in a cart and by checkout. The young man who checked me out was amazing, matched the website AND made sure to check ALL my items even my $2 cat treats against the website to save me change on them!I've always loved PetSmart over PetCo because they've always gone the extra distance for me.Kudos PetSmart. You made a super stressful, bad day, transition, super easy, pleasant, friendly and a breeze. I will come here always and I love you guys!

I would like to give PetSmart ZERO stars!!! It requires that I leave at least 1 star. I bought an expensive Kong leash and the clip that hooks to the collar broke. I contacted customer service and was told there is a 60 day return policy. It broke literally a week after the 60 days was up. I was told by customer service that there was nothing they could do because it was past the 60 day return policy. I don't want to return it, I want them to replace it. If I wanted a cheap leash , would have bought it at Walmart. I guess they don't care about loosing a customers over it. I will no longer be shopping at PetSmart. Chewy is a much better company anyways, much more compassionate customer service. Good bye PetSmart, you just lost a customer. I will be telling all my friends at the dog park to not shop to your stores and to not support you any longer!!!

I bought flea medicine for my cats. $104. It was not prescription. There were no signs saying that I could not return it for exchange or refund. I was not informed that I couldn't. When I tried to return it the same day they laughed at me. I will never shop there again!

We usually shop at the SLO Pet Smart. The Santa Maria Pet Smart is really nice. The aisles are wide enough, and well planned. We found everything we wanted easily, and a few extras. We will definitely shop there again.

Several associates helped throughout my visit to the Santa Maria store. I was there for over an hour between getting new toys and supplies for my dog and my snake... I even adopted a cat while I was there. All of the associates were friendly and knowledgeable, even their vendor lady for Blue Buffalo was knowledgeable and eager to help and she's not even a PetSmart associate. Would definitely visit this store again.

This door is always clean and well organized. I'd like to take my dogs in there and just let them go find which toy they want to get. The people behind the counters just smile and enjoy their job. They see people do that all the time I suppose. Very friendly and helpful as well.

Clean and pet friendly. 15 day return. If your pet doesn’t like the food you lovingly purchased for him, PetSmart will give you a whole new bag of something he might love. Provided the bag is more full than empty.

I just acquired a rescue kitten from here. The process was easy to apply but what they told us was different than what happened. They bumped up the price which was disturbing. They also said they would give us food for kitten but not what they were feeding him. We had to buy more stuff to take kitty home. Not much but nothing that we needed. We are happy with our new kitten. Then after we bought all the stuff they bring out a coupon book for the stuff we bought. Also we had to pay cash which I haven't seen in years.

Employees are really well mannered and ready to help the only thing is is they don't have light up collars :-( Petco seems to have and I don't want to spend my money at Petco I want to spend my money at PetSmart with you guys also it says you guys are hiring I drop by a resume I feel like I'm a great candidate to work here I have a phenomenal work ethic show up on time never never sick I thoroughly enjoy walking around your store and never get hassled by people that think I'm stealing like Best buy yes I am calling them out on this post LOL thank you for helping me out with your business thank you
