Great in-store shopping experience!I came in to get color matched for foundation and the sales rep Crystal did a fantastic job helping me find exactly what i was looking for.There were many great sales and items and we ended up buying some great clothes and beauty products for great prices.Crystal had a great energy. 10/10

I shopped at the Santa Maria over a month ago. And your sales representative Mary went over and beyond assisting me. She was very helpful to help me find what I was looking for. It seemed everything she was trying to do to help me was giving her a hard time but she kept on and when it looked like she could not help me she called for her manager to help. Between the both of them they were able to get the code for the only item left that I wanted. Thank you again Mary great job !!!

Warehouse got Labor Day weekend sale order wrong.Going to Santa Maria to return part of order was good. Helpful staff understood what needed to be done and took care of me.Shame on Santa Maria Poluce department to allow homeless people to loiter in front of entrance. As an older consumer, this is one of the reasons why I shop online

The shopping was fine but the check out was not. It's funny because I very seldom look at my receipts but when I got to my car I did and found that I was charged twice for an item. So I went back in and when I told the cashier she seemed to already know she did that. She refunded me on the item that she rang up twice. I guess she was either charging me extra for fun or to lazy to correct her error.Since then I've had great shopping experience here and very good service!

I can tell the employees that work at this location are doing their best to keep up, but this JCPenny is severely understaffed. Most of the employees I've interacted with there are still friendly and offer decent to good customer service.Nearly 3 years post covid, and the dressing rooms are still closed. It's incredibly frustrating trying to shop for clothes when you can't try them on.

Haven’t been to the Santa Maria JCP in awhile and I was very impressed!-Went with family and the inventory was great and store seemed updated. Found most all of what we needed including hard to find perfume. Associates were friendly and helpful will be back when in the area!!

Horrible shopping experience. No Manager on store, had to search the backroom for my online package. The stoner kid at the register couldn't function enough to help me. I hope this one of the stores that'll be closing soon.

Due to covid, I guess!! Just not enough help, especially checking out!! Heard PENNYS, is having trouble staying open. Too bad. One of the OLD STORES. Use to be great!! Lines are long, not enough customer service. Don't go there much anymore, just not worth it.

I purchased a dress shirt and dress pants the shirt was 50% off the pants was buy one get one by the same company I found the pants in the Rak saying 50% off% off it's hard to tell what prices are with such a small staff they're doing a great job but it is still confusing what the prices are exactly keep up the good work

I still do most of my buying there, but Their stock quality has declined. I could buy great merchandise on their sale racks at one time but not anymore. But they are still bettr then some others.

Love this store, missed having one nearby. Good prices and food selection of clothes and styles for the family. Can't go wrong with that.Not to mention they always have good sales and encourage you to shop more with constant promotions.They also have a courteous staff whenever we come visit that's worth mentioning

I have been shopping at our JCPenney for over 40 years and I have to say I was shocked at the condition of store since they added a separate Sephora section that takes up a third of the store. Everything used to be so organized and clean but now everything looks disheveled and crowded together because of less room. I found what I was looking for eventually and checked out. The cashier was very pleasant and helpful in showing me how to get more of a discount on my phone. I don't know if I will go back to the store anymore, probably just order what I want online.

I love getting the 10 dollars off 25$ or more coupon in the mail. It's always worth it. Even without the coupon, the quality of items are great. When I buy jeans here, they always last for at least a yr or 2 in the same condition as the day I purchased. :)

Don't order anything online and wait for them to notify you on that day. I ordered a Christmas Gift 10 days ago and it was supposed to be here on December 24 and they say to wait to hear from them. Yeah right!! I called the service center and they had received two hours previously to when I called and I heard nothing from them. Thank God I went down there before they closed! Then it took 10 minutes in line and another 10 minutes for them to find it. You probably should think about ordering way ahead of time so it doesn't arrive on Christmas Eve!

8/29/21 Edit: They never have any registers open so there are two long lines and no dedicated online service area. Not enough employees at all!I love the sales and coupons lol! My favorite Arizona jeans are here and they still have the best quality sheets and towels. I’ve found so many things for me and my house here. Don’t forget they have a Sephora inside and great shoes selection as well.

I went yesterday to JCPENNEY. I went with my dear Friend she is 91 years old. Experience was a little stressful. Just a note JC may need to train your sale associates customer service show and assist the elderly. Another idea for your store to have chair or bench for customers to have to seat and rest. Glad there was a store cart to push and rest for my elderly friend. Just a suggestion. 🤗

Good choice of kids and women's clothes. One of the last remaining portrait studios in this area. Only three stars because the price for the quality of clothes is questionable and there are never enough employees. Bathroom is consistently gross.

I've always liked J.c. Penny and I know why it's not doing well. The customer service is not up to par. If they took the time to properly train the employee's It would be good. It's been bad more than once hence the reason for the post. It's not because the employees are trying to ignore you or not be helpful. It's the same way the managers behave. ✌

They were short staffed. Men's wear had a horrible selection. Couldn't get anyone to unlock the men's side of the fitting room (3 doors locked. I left after 10-15 minutes of waiting.

The lady at Sephora was so helpful. I didn't get her name but she rang up a pair of shoes for me and searched for fragrances I was looking for and have me some cologne samples.She was very helpful, polite. Good customer service.

The store is absolutely filthy. I used to love shopping here but it's totally gone downhill. The clearance racks are a complete mess. There were clothes all over the floor throughout the store. Nothing is organized and it's hard to find items. Very limited selection of clothing. I will no longer be shopping here. I will say that some of the staff was really helpful while others clearly didn't want to help.

Evertime I come in the store there is never enough cashiers and very disorganized. One time I had a question for the manager regarding an online order and the manger did not bother to come down. I waited for her for 15 min.

Well the employees were very helpful and we're picking things that had fell on the floor and their seemed to be clothing for middle age more than before if they buy things for middle age and not for teens and Twenties the will sell a lot more I've had a lot of people telling me the same thing I hope that's helpful I'm older but have worked in clothing places back home and things have changed so please star buying clothing for middle age thanks loretta
