If you’re in need of grocery items, this store probably has everything you could need. A big store with lots of space, it’s clean and well organized. It’s conveniently located near the center of town with a very large parking lot. For me, I’ve found that store employees are very helpful: it’s a big store and the item for which you’re looking might be a ways away, employees have always been helpful in finding things for me.

Yesterday I went to go order a cake, the person helping me was Faith. And let me tell you not only is she super helpful but she goes above and beyond and I loved her customer service. I haven’t ran into someone who loves their job so much to help in the ways she did. I will never forget my experience with her. 1000000x the best!!

I was in your store, I stood in line at the express checkout because I was in a hurry, the contactless was damaged, I told the cashier that I was going to my car to get the card and she came back and told me that I had to get in line again, I told her no. It was my fault that wasn't right and he said sorry, you have to wait in line again. What bad service!

I really like the deli and bakery. Super friendly and has never let me down on my orders. The floor workers are amazing, friendly always willing to help, but the male managers are rude, not helpful when asked and have horrible people skills. Same as floral department, flowers are beautiful and well taken care of but worker is intimidating, makes it very clear she doesn't want to be bothered with the rolling of eyes. I shop here because it is close to my home and convenient and I do like most of their deals but employees need to have hospitality lessons

I ordered 48 cupcakes and a bouquet flowers from this location for my husband's retirement ceremony. They were ready on time, and pick up was easy. I had a last-minute need for 6 more small bouquets. The florist was unable to create them then and there, so I chose some already made bouquets and asked if she could rewrap them in fancy paper. She was very accommodating and made them look wonderful for presentation. The women of the family loved the flowers, and the cupcakes with whipped frosting were a huge hit with the whole crowd. Thank you, Albertsons!

Went in the other day to buy fruit platters and asked a worker for help. When I asked him a question he said he was too busy to help me and was very rude. He then turned his back on me and went on with his shift .I’ve been shopping her for 30 years. Not anymore. Thanks to Chris in the fruit platter department

Good selection, helpful staff. Unfortunately there usually are not enough of them.November '23 update: They seem to have resolved some of the staffing issues.Suggestion: Augment the super-big aisle barges with some smaller buggies. I know that the hope is that one will fill them up. But they make navigation tedious.

I usually go in early Monday or Tuesday mornings and go straight to the deli. There's a server that has help me on more than one occasion. I think her name is Erica. She's so pleasant and helpful. She always helps me start my day off right. You don't find good customer service like that anymore.

Still Had some damage from storms. #2 hole was closed. Temporary trailer for check in. Club house being remodeled....NO COFFEE.. Wouldn't be THAT hard to have a coffee pot for players. Just sayin

Everything is organic for the most part, but produce and meats are of great quality, so prices are CA expensive as one would expect. You pay for what you get. It's a little small so not a full grocery store in my opinion, over all a great place, with a good amount of options for healthy expensive items.

I like to go here in the evenings when there are no crowds. The store is well lit and very clean. It is unbelievable how well stocked they are. Unlike a lot of stores in the area, this one carries family sized meat packages. Instead of having to buy 2 packages of 2 steaks you can buy one package of 5 steaks. It's just more economical. Plus the meat is of very good quality.

It's a good location, but they need to work on stocking better, fresher produce. How can you not have basics like carrots, celery, broccoli, milk, water not stocked. We live in a town that grows these vegetables. Not enough checkout lanes open in the early morning (7am-9am), so people are standing in line 4-5 deep. Express lane should be open for those that want a quick purchase. Food items that have fallen in the aisles are not picked up quickly which is a safety issue. Staff on the floor could be friendlier, helpful; I see a lot of chatting employees.

Friendliest staff of any grocery store I've ever been to. Management truly cares about the customer service and overall organization of store. The never disappoint. If you pay close attention to circular and coupons they have some stellar deals. Wide variety of products and they'll even special order items for customers. Feels like a small town store in a large town.

Probably not sanitary but I love the resident bird that flits from aisle to aisle. I do mean resident too. I've been to this location quite a few times and there's always a bird making it's rounds throughout the store.The facilities themselves are a bit run down and the layout is one of the most confusing in a grocery store but that's why I love it so.1/1 birds would shop here again.

I've been coming here for years now, but I'm done! They have their couple of really nice employees but for the most part everyone's just flat out rude. Multiple times now I've had baggers be unnecessarily disrespectful! You technically don't even need to interact with me and when you do that's how you're going to talk to me? Multiple cashiers have made me feel uncomfortable as well. This Albertson's really needs to take a second look at who they have working for them and what's making their employees so unhappy that they're taking it out on loyal customers. I've never been to a business with this many mean people in one place.

I love the whole vibe of this store. Staff is always kind and helpful, plenty of sections and mini-stores to choose from, pretty good deals, but fairly steep regular prices. You pay for the environment though I guess but it can also get packed. Also, beware of the transient population nearby, as I got my bike stolen in front of there recently. Nothing against the store though.

I like this store. Yes, we know they can be EXSPENSIVE. BUT? They have things a lot of places don,t, have. Bread. Dept. Is great!! Oh!! Check out the SALADS to go. Very yummy!! BAKERY also good. Staff very friendly and lines move. Not my regular shopping store, bit in a hurry?? Can't find something elswhere?? I go there.

Prices are high, however, the biggest issue both myself and my husband have with this location is they NEVER have enough checkers! It will be 5PM with 6 customers in line AND ONLY 1 checker at their register. The produce is poor quality.I am NOT pro FoodMax, however, their produce is a much better quality at a lower price.

I just want to say that Albertsons Bakery makes the best birthday cakes ever. I always purchase mine and and my daughter cakes. Today is my birthday and I’m so happy to have shared my day with family. Every year, I order a different flavor today’s cake 🎂 white with raspberry filling. Taste like a wedding cake, extra soft and delicious...Thank You So Much Albertsons Bakery in Santa Maria.

I actually prefer this location over the Orcutt store (south of this location), and CERTAINLY PREFER it over the run-down Vons (sister stores) on Main Street. This store has many more items in stock that either of the two above mentioned stores. It is also more in the center of town, so is more convenient to use when you have multiple errands to run. Parking is NEVER A PROBLEM either! I also appreciate that they have TWO bays for grocery carts just outside of the front door. One is marked "clean carts" the other is marked "Return used carts here". Neither of the 2 above mentioned stores do this.

Clean store, friendly efficient cashiers, fully stocked fresh produce and groceries. Parking kinda tight and it was busy but I used self check out and that was quick so all good.

Great store lots of choices. Great food. But many times there's nobody around to give you a hand and the employees that I don't seem to want to help you.
