I love this place! Home grown, home town genuine people. Always kind, smiling, and helpful. They load up and give discounts when they can, especially for 4H and FFA kids. The best prices in the county on feed and pet supplies, but without all that showroom fuss. A real feed store with REAL honest and genuine helpers that are the community that makes up the staff here. You may be chatting with the owner, or an ambitious high school kid. You won't know who's who, because the culture of goodness runs through all who call this place home. This is the core of the culture of not only the magic of Santa Margarita, but all of North County and all of SLO County. In all honesty, I don't know of a more "real" feed store or other store anywhere. Love this place! They definitely deserve the business of every pet or livestock owner within a 1940 mile radius. I say that only because there are some great ag stores in Texas.

I love the owners but multiple times in the last few months they have been more than a half hour late opening their doors. I have had several friends tell me this also. I have seen up to 5 cars patiently waiting for them to open. Besides that good prices and nice staff. Good local business.
