I was shopping in the store when i walked by this lead and a worker he was yelling at the worker in front of everyone in the store super unprofessional! His name was chris/christen i believe. Screaming at his workers and humiliating them how is someone like that in charge?? obviously it was not the first time as well… Chris should be ashamed of himself acting like that. Chris should be fired!

Very good store. I would suggest it if you don't want to pay a membership. They have those large and discount sizes.

I am so disappointed, I went to buy milk and two days later I realized it was expired 4 days ago from when I bought it. I would expect that from another grocery store but not from smart and final.

The problem with this place is that there are many types of fruits and vegetables sold in closed bags of large size, such as Cusco, and they are not suitable for those who buy a small amount, because this is suitable for restaurants or large families. There are materials that are not available, but good workers

We visit here 2-3 times per month. For certain specialty items, S & F Extra can't be beat. For example, the Torani flavored syrups. They carry a ridiculous variety of flavors (both with and without sugar) compared to everyone else. Something in the neighborhood of 35! And they're in the large 25.4 fl oz glass bottles not in the much smaller plastic ones. For comparison, Walmart only carries 2-3 flavors in the smaller bottles costing almost as much! 😬

They are taking great precautions to keep their customers safe during this pandemic. They have fresh foods and vegetables. And I have to say their sales are great too at this time. The store is required wear mask...soooooo don't forget to wear it. And there were no lines 🤗. Social distancing is being practice and enforced👍🏽😉

I like shopping here, it's close and they have almost everything I need, but whenever I buy chicken that is going to expire in 5 days, it's already rotten. This has happened to me so many times. If I'm going to cook it in a day or two I don't freeze it, I put it in the fridge. There's nothing wrong with my refrigerator. The last time this happened it already smelled bad that day. I usually rinse it and cook it anyway. Once I went back to the store to return it and they thought I was crazy. This last time, it tasted bad too. I've also gotten half and half that didn't last as long as it was supposed to. Still has 4 days left before expiration and it's already bad. I know it's not my refrigerator so there must be something wrong with their refrigerators.

You know what you will get. We buy deli containers and lids pretty regularly and most of the time they are out of the lids. Had to go back the next day after their delivery. On a positive note, it appears their produce section has b÷n improved. Excellent selection and stock just before the holiday.

Nice store but a staff member was not nice, very abrupt, he thinks he is better than anybody. Does not know how to talk to customers or he chooses who he wants to be nice to. Or you need to retire. During this pandemic we have to be appreciative of what we have and kindness is not hard to be.

Surprisingly, the produce section is not maintained well. We decided to try and shop here for all of our groceries - why not? Unfortunately after visiting the produce section, I will probably never shop there again for produce.The organic produce display was disgusting. The display case alone was moldy. We picked up a bag of onions and the bottom of the mesh bag had moldy onions in it. The grapes did not look bright green, they were discolored - an off yellow. Even the red apples looked like they were bad. Maybe the temperature on the case was too cold and the condensation made all the produce moldy??!!Either way, it was a great disappointment and to know the garlic comes shipped from China and not any local farmers or at least the US was also disappointing. I will never shop here for produce but will be back for other bulk, non-perishable items.

I love my local Smart & Final! Prices vary but all very reasonable. Clean, well organized & their staff is friendly, helpful(they can tell when you're "lost"). They know where the products are & are so happy to help you find what you're looking for.

A great cross between membership warehouses and traditional grocery stores. Late night hours every day. Easy parking. Rarely crowded. Friendly and efficient staff. Both bulk and regular sizes available on many items. Better quality and fresher items than the market just down the street. Prices are inline with Costco for bulk items, and generally lower on regular size items than local markets.

Wonderful selection, had everything + a whole lot more that I didn't even know I needed . Unfortunately my credit card declined ( its a shared account that other members in the family used on their vacation and Chase earmarked it for fraud). 2 hours $170 with of groceries, that I bagged myself, in reusable bags.. And I'm treated with complete annoyance and dirty looks. Really does a person using fraudulent credit cards bring their own bags? Perhaps they do, i just wanted to walk out but i wouldnt give them the satisfaction.

The date may 23, I went in to grab parsley a quick in and out. I thought wrong. After being next in line waiting in like for over 17 min no exaggeration, they were ushering other individuals behind me to move into other lines but made no effort to acknowledge me, the manager Jose after I asked can I please just leave this dollar and go home and explaining my 17 min wait. Gave me a very dirty look and said what do you want. After he clearly saw me standing in line the entire time because of the issue he was having, I have come to this store for the last 17 years. And I have definitely noticed a decline in service. Not even acknowledgement or a sorry. Wow I am blown away how smart and final allows individuals like this to climb up a ladder of leadership! Don't come here, they don't believe in customer service

I like both the stores in Santa Clarita. The store on Lyons is more often to be short on product on the shelves. The employees are very helpful and polite. Parking is easy and the store is clean.

I enjoy shopping at Smart and Final. There is fresh produce and buy chips with salsa, large bag and container. The rotisserie chicken is GREAT too.

Smart & Final is clean and well-organized and it's easy to find what I need. More over everyone I have met who works there has been helpful and friendly and I can get in and out with my shopping list complete very quickly
