My Daughter and I went here after reading some of the reviews and we are so glad that we did! The staff is all friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. We purchased 2 parakeets and came back again today to get more toys for them. They have an awesome selection and the prices are fantastic! Karen let us both hold a baby conure that she is currently hand feeding and taming and you can see how much love and care she puts into the animals. I will never go anywhere else!

They have a great selection of dog food, and the fattest live mice I've seen. Good supply of general pet "stuff" as well from what I've seen. I'm only there for two types of animals. The staff and owner are very friendly, the prices are reasonable (same or cheaper than Pet___) and I very much support local businesses.

A wonderful family owned pet store in Canyon Country. Very friendly and knowledgeable people who are happy to take time and discuss anything food-related when it comes to our pets. Give them a try. They're a wonderful alternative to the chain stores.

These guys know their stuff. I have dogs, cats, lizards and fish, and they provide expert advice and products for all of them. They carry a wide variety of products (for horses, too!) and are priced competitively. Karen (owner) loves animals and is passionate about her business (ask her about her birds!). Her kids are involved with the shop as well, making it a successful family business that I am proud to support.

My kids got their first Teddy Bear hamster today. Thank you too the 2 employees that helped us with every step of the way. We will be back for sure. We love this pet store and the employees are wonderful and knowledgeable.

A couple months back, I had purchased an expensive python from a big corporate pet store. These last 2 months I have spent lots of time trying to get my snake to eat but she wouldn’t eat and no on could get me straight forward answers. Kevin at Canyon Pet Center gave m his undivided attention and even gave me a box to help out. I followed his suggestions and used the box and my Luci girl ate within seconds of me introducing her food to her. Thank you to everyone at Canyon Pet Center! Y’all have a customer for life right here!

I really felt uncomfortable when I came here. When I walked in I just wanted to check the place out. The owner and a worker were standing right by the door and bombarded me with welcomes and where am I from and what am I looking for questions. I told them I was just looking yet they asked again a couple minutes later. The owner continued to watch me like I was a criminal or something as I looked at the guinea pigs and other animals. He moved to the end of each isle to watch me as I went on different isles. I finally just left and he told me to come back soon. I’ve only been back once to buy something I really needed at the time but I will never go back, the prices aren’t worth it.

i always thought this place was pricey and stuff but then i went to it and the store had good affordible items!! there animals are super healthy and the staff take good care of them! i also notice that there staff is really informative and know alot about there animals! i went to pet smart and bought a bearderd dragon and i totally regert buying from there.i wish i bought one from this pet store beacuse they look so much healthier and afforible.i go here all the time to ask questions and they always know the answers! i honestly love this place so much‼️💗

Canyon Pet Store has a variety of pet food and just about all kinds of treats, toys and accessories. Their staff is always friendly and welcoming, as well as knowledgeable about their products and pets.

I got a baby bearded dragon and it was pretty aggresive at first but now it isn't and it's very friendly and easy to care for it and when I was there they helped me out a lot tons of great tips to.

Bad costumer assistant, we where told they had the best tortoise tanks and wanted to invest in the biggest one,but the employees where following us aroun like if we where thieves "I was about to expend at least $300 "
