Grooming Services Review: Finding a good dog groomer can feel like striking gold, and I'm here to tell you I've found a treasure trove in Arnold! There are 3 Petco within a 5 miles radius in our vicinity but we go out of our way, driving 15 miles to see Arnold! Since September last year, Arnold has been nothing short of amazing with our little Shih Tzu, Miya. It's clear that he genuinely cares for the animals he works with. He goes above and beyond to make Miya feel comfortable and happy. She absolutely beams when she sees him, which is a testament to the positive experience he creates for her. His attention to detail in the grooming process and the cleanliness and atmosphere of his grooming space is top notch. Miya can be a bit of a firecracker sometimes, but Arnold handles her with incredible patience and understanding. He truly knows how to put her at ease, which is a huge plus for us as pet owners. Miya always looks fabulous after her pampering session, and the haircut is consistently perfect. Thank you for taking such good care of our fur baby, Arnold!

Rude customer service at the grooming salon I had scheduled an appointment at 2:45 with Angelica and as I went thee on time I was told that my dog is going to stay in the crate for I don’t know how many hours and they were trying to sell me VIP package so that the dog doesn’t stay in the crate this wasn’t told me before this is really disgusting. and a bad way to sell a VIP package by putting a dog in the crate for long hours.

I had brought over a deceased fish that i bought two days ago from them and i live 30 mins away from the closest location to petco jus to be told that i had to bring a clean water sample for them to give me another one “to make sure my water parameter is good”, oh and it was the manger that i talked to

This Santa Clara petco Store.the Manager is very Rude and Unprofessional way to do business.I purchase a Stroller and was factory defected. I went back to Returned 7 days later with the valid recipt and the Racist women Manager she refused to exchange or RefundAVOID THIS PETCO STORE.

Its one of the best store for the pets.You will get all items related to pets. You will get the food for 🐠,cat ,dogs and 🦅 etc. The store is well organized and you can easily find where the item you are looking. Its can be easily fohnd on the normal traffic. The other thing is you can bring your pets to hospital for the treatment. There is pet doctors available to see the issue . The store is very clean . The live fishs are good. When we are in store they are cleaning the fish tanks. The parking is little bit clumsy because of the area. Overall the location is very good.

Stopped in to just eye browse, but ended up getting some fish for the girls tank. They picked out a Ying Yang guppy couple. And 2 more females regular. We also got a snail to help with algae cleaning. Did I mention the guppies were buy 3 get 1 free.

The best Petco grooming we’ve had for 5 years!! All grooming staffs are always so nice and patient to customers and pets. We now moved to another nearby city but I would still drive 25 minutes just to THIS Petco grooming cuz our Kelly absolutely loves to see everyone! Highly recommended!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hey, this Petco is pretty cool. They have all sorts of pets that you can buy bike not bike like okay that's better. So I was saying they have all sorts of animals and fish, fish count as animals right? Yes so they have all sorts of animals and stuff for animals too like clothes for dogs which I think it's kind of lame but whatever. Anyway this Petco is pretty cool. Did you see the pictures I took? A freaking stormtrooper looking at birds isn't that funny?

Grooming was excellent. Price is good for a hairy, huge German Shepherd, and their suggestions were great. I will be coming back. Parking is okay, a little bit small for my truck; however, not their fault. The best part is that there is a door specifically for the grooming department facing the parking lot for easy quick access.

Been going here for years now. I am going into the fishkeeping hobby now, but as I am still a beginner, I take notes. I have loved fish when I was young and I like to say that trait was passed to me by gene. Although I am sad to see people with less knowledge on fish, I am always amazed by others' excitement of learning. Currently, I am a high school student and wanted to do this in-depth review because of encouraging others to learn. [For teachers, read the bottom paragraph]Pros first: Good quality products, definitely DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH PRIOR TO GETTING ANY LIVE ANIMALS (especially fish + "cheap" advertised pets). Fantastic selection of fish, pet products, and supplies. Amazed by the adoption encouragement for the animals! The fish aisle is great + kid friendly! Good quality fish food (+ cheaper, lower quality), and fun kiddy decor. Love the encouragement on the live plants! My doggy leash lasted years before breaking.Cons: 1) The employees have LIMITED KNOWLEDGE. Don't always rely on them, they may specialize in one area! 2) The nitrogen cycle isn't being talked about enough in the fish hobby. Do research. 3) The "care" sheet for ANY animal may not reflect their actual needs! For example, years ago, we asked if there were any fish that ate algae. The solution: a common Pleco. They didn't tell us it was a tropical fish, and have a huge bio load/waste! It died on the first day, and I was actually relieved when I found it it grows ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE! And I mean, by length, FEET. 4) Fishkeeping is not for the faint of heart, and requires more patience and trials than any other! There is no "beginner" fish or plants, just more forgiving. 5) Take what ALL pet stores sell with a grain of salt: they will absolutely not know EVERYTHING, they are there to ensure the sale of products + animals.Notes: The "feeder" goldfish tank seemed more empty than usual last time I went. Maybe something happened? And some tanks seemed to be dealing with excessive algae/lights out. The aquarium plants submerged in water are dying, lack of care? Looking for cheaper alternatives for fishkeeping: Check FaceBook Marketplace and other local fish stores! Big chain pet stores (+ pet stores in general) vary on knowledge, expertise, products, + price! Check + compare to quality and price always! Staff are nice and friendly, sometimes a hit-or-miss, but overall mostly former.I'll be coming back years from now unless something happens. Experiences vary, don't judge by one malicious experience. Stay safe, stay golden, and please do your research! [If you're a teacher and want to teach your students about the ecosystem, try a self-sustaining planted tank! It will teach kids the importance of nature + balance while entertaining their minds with the colors a fish and plants can create together! Not to mention the plant's ability to adapt to the water + work with other species from around the world.]

Been going to this Petco for years, always nice people working there. Really happy to see they have Acana, Origen, and other top level pet foods here. My dog loves to visit because she gets to look at all the lil fury animals and fish.

Completely short staffed at this location.Went inside to purchase a budgie, left unattended for one hour with absolutely no one helping me.I will not return to this location anymore. The Petco nearby next to Safeway is much better in terms of service and friendly.

Decent options for your pets be it dog or any, (although i checked more of dog options as I have a dog), it is definitely moderately priced compared to say PetSmart but PetSmart then has more sturdy options for like food, leash etc.

I was in there to buy wet food for my dog. Minding my own business when someone decided to attempt to report me for my walking my dog around the store without a leash. I don’t appreciate being accused of things because I am black and have a large breed dog. Facing racial profiling and large dog breed stereotypes in public and now in a pet store is outrageous!
