Very hard to get in and out of the parking lot...I was there on a weekday, early and so crowded and lots of people i felt like i was gonna hit someone with my car.... The store inside is roomy with very clean restrooms...... Great prices considering it's Santa Barbara.... And they have just about everything you need.......I love trader Joe's but will pass on this one again cuz of the parking lot.

A very uptight store. I worked at Trader Joes and grew up next door to one of the original stores in the San Gabriel Vallley. 89 cents for one orange? You are out of your mind.....

Great market. Great food. Great staff. Terrible parking. I love coming here to get all of their amazing food and snacks. The center isle is the best! Their produce is a bit lacking though. Their snacks are awesome!! The best thing to do is park on the street if you can. The parking lot is dreadful. You'll be lucky if you don't get out of their with a ding or a dent.

I feel like I’m not part of the cool crowd at this store. The kimbop (are whatever it is) is always out. I want some. Also, everyone is a self proclaimed vegan zen master of peace until they get to the parking lot then it’s gloves off, fight for your life, try not to get run over. Yesterday, I was in the store and it was super busy and they had some kid dusting the lights … dust falling down on everyone and into the air - as a person with allergies and lung issues I was disgruntled hence this review. I am not a vegan zen master and enjoy letting it out once in a while. Perhaps, limit the kimbop to one a person or here is an idea, order more and tell corporate to start having the kids in Thailand produce more, since that is where most of your food comes from these days. Why do I get so judged when I forget my bag, but nobody stops to read the labels on their food from TJ’s. TJs food notoriously travels many miles and often many continents. Like a brown paper bag is going to do more harm then the bunker fuel used to ship the cheap food over. Or the major amount of plastic used in packaging. Get a grip. But props to Charles Shaw. Ok, I’m headed that way now, the apple cinnamon Mochi better not be out too. And why does this store not carry more of the gluten free muffins my sister gets in San Diego? Are we not as good as them? And don’t worry I’m bringing my bag.

It's a TJs. So all the usual TJs stuff is there. This location, however, also has a mini museum of art. A definite highlight if you're a super dork like me.

Great little Trader Joe’s with a nice selection of products, feels very spacious inside and flows nicely as most do. Always have had plenty of workers, very friendly and helpful.I’m only taking one star off for the parking lot which is very, very tight. And I get it, space is a premium here. Wow is it nerve-racking in that area.I also found a new (for me anyway) item that I am now addicted to. Trader Joe’s Herb Spiced Popcorn. It really hits the right spot!

I have never had any problems with Trader Joe's. There are enough choices, the prices are reasonable and the fresh vegetables and flowers are well presented. It is a pleasant place to shop, except for tight parking sometimes. Avoid shopping at peak hours.

Always friendly and always clean... I will say their ginger candies are not great in packaging. You end up eating a lot of wax paper. Their flavor and texture is wonderful, packaging is a -5 ⭐'s.

It's usually a great experience whenever I shop at Trader Joe's. They offer great quality brands for those of us who don't really buy groceries at regularly branded stores such as Ralphs, Vons, Albertson's and Smart and Final just to name a few.

Parking is a ridiculous. Store is nice, sometimes items are not stocked. Staff is helpful and fabulous! They are well stocked today! Update! Well stocked again and staff helpful and cheerful!

I had to drop rating to 4 stars for 2 reasons. 1st- they don't have the Ginger Almond Granola any more! I LOVED it! 😢😭😭 2nd- they were out of flower bouquets, my fault for going so late in the day.

Never lets me down, TJ! Except recently -- STILL no UHT, shelf-stable whipping cream! Now can get same product at Amazon, I see...at like three times the price! But ghee available, good chocolate, interesting pasta....

I have since moved to Georgia, and Trader Joe's are about 3 hours away regardless the direction. This is my absolute favorite Trader Joe's in the country. Best staff, and atmosphere is always impeccable. I visited recently and had to stop by, made me realize how much I miss having a TJ's within driving distance, let alone walking distance.

And now that as Christmas approaches, a lot of my favorites are back in stock this year.I'm drooling over the two boxes of peppermint JoJo's that I just picked up. Yum😋

This is my favorite Trader Joe's in Santa Barbara. They have a great selection of produce and really friendly staff. I've never waited in line longer than 5-10 minutes because they keep people moving. The parking lot can be rough sometimes, but there is plenty of street parking on a quiet street (De La Vina).

This is for store 0183, about employee C, Ashley, at Till 3 (if reached out to, I also have the transaction number). *Review also left on Traders joes customer complaint site*. My bf went into the store around 8:30 pm before closing. Once done shopping he reached the registers and he walked up to this register in particular because the employee at said register waved to people that her register was open. Once he walked up the employee was extremely rude. He greeted her, instead of her greeting him and once she did she was very cold for no reason. He started to think that maybe he did something to offend her, but how could that be if he had just walked up to the register. She had scanned the chicken and instead of putting the chicken back in the bag properly after scanning it, she threw it in the bag. After she was done and bagging other things he told her that he appreciated her bagging the groceries.. her response “yeah”. Rude again. Thinking maybe he had done something to her, he let it go. But then once he started to walk away, he overheard Ashley happily greet the person behind him when literally seconds ago she was cold and uninviting. He then came to the conclusion that she was just being rude for no reason. If employees are having a bad day or not liking a certain individual because how they look or are dressed then they should not be working in customer service. If she was the same way to the customer after then her rudeness would be dismissed as she was having a bad day but that wasn’t the case. We come to this Trader Joe’s because we live near by and usually the employees are pleasant. This employee was not. If we’re spending money somewhere and being polite in the establishment, we expect the same respect from the employees.

Trader Joe's is the best! But the parking lot is horrid. Made for cars with good gas mileage, remember those, compact cars. The parking lot is shared with a surgical center. If going here please be patient, respectful and courteous. If you can't, don't go to this one.

Always awesome! The friendly crew members like talking about their products. There are lots of great quality options for interesting foods inspired by the whole planet and plenty of healthy food options. No reason to water time through 50 different brands of the same product like the other supermarkets!

I love almost everything about Trader Joe’s in general and this one is no different. Great location overall and the store is clean and always has great deals. The only issue is the small parking lot. You may need to drive around a few times to get a spot and when you do the spaces are very tight. If better parking is your thing, try the Trader Joe’s across town on Milpas St.
