I loved it. Perfect for cat persons that can’t own a cat for whatever the reason (ME). Perfect to sit relax and enjoy the environment. It was fairly clean as clean as you can have a cat area. You get in pay, take your shoes off, put the optional socks they offer if you want or not. You get in the cat area, sit down anywhere and wait for the cats to come to you or you can sit near them and wait patiently for their cuddles. There’s a $12 15 min option or an hour for I forgot the $$ amount. I recommend it to anyone that is an animal lover or cat lover. Enjoy!!!

What a grate place! I would highly recommend coming in for an hour to get your dose of Cat Therapy! Very therapeutic to sit with all the lovely cats and just chill. Staff is very knowledgeable about all the cats and the gift shop is cute! All the money goes to a grate cause to helping safe more cats from being euthanized. Oh and if you happen you find that special cat and you are able to adopt you can do so!

I came for a visit this past Sunday for a private party and had such a great time. It is a very comfortable space, and the cats are so sweet. There were cats with all different types of personalities and it was really relaxing experience. I hope to visit again soon!

Denise at Cat Therapy Santa Barbara was a delight. I got to pet some delightful cats and the place smelled really cat neutral! The place is very clean, well-managed, and has a great atmosphere. My daughter and I have made it a tradition that we visit a cat cafe in each area we travel to. For Santa Barbara, that led us to Cat Therapy. It's such a wonderful space, so bright, and welcoming. I absolutely adore that the cats have access to windows and open space areas instead of being locked behind doors. And each cat was so unique and loving. The staff was kind and helpful as well. We had a wonderful time!

What a wonderful cat cafe in Santa Barbara. We went on a Friday morning and got 25 to hang out with their many cats. We were able to walk in but they do advise reservations. They also have fun stickers, shirts, catnip and even cat hair clips! Highly recommend!

The kitties here are so cute and staff was really kind. Parking in the city lot is limited when busy and you’ll have to wait when someone exits to be forwarded in by the gate. 75 minutes free and after you’ll have to pay. Lots of great shops and walkable. Not an area made for cars.

I paid a visit to Cat Therapy while in Santa Barbara and I’m so happy I did. It was cute, had a chill vibe, lots of cute kitties and plenty of toys to engage with the cats. I didn’t catch her name, but the girl running the front desk was very kind and friendly as well. I would definitely recommend this to friends and I will be sure to visit if ever in the area again. Such a great idea and a great way to let people engage with cats that are thinking of adopting. Loved what you guys are doing! Thank you!

What a nice place to spend with some sweet cats! It really was like therapy, as it was rather quiet on the day I went, and the cats were very mellow. I just laid down on the pillows with them and petted them. I would love to stop by again in the future.

Want to spend an hour or just 15 minutes playing and petting cats? Then this is the place for you! It was a great experience. One thing to note is that they do offer 15 minute sessions.

My family loved , loved, loved! Couldn't get my kids out of the room after they played already for an hour! Cats can be adopted right there in place! Stuff was very kind and nice! We are going to visit our new friends now more often!

This was a very unique experience. My daughter enjoyed every second of it and was worth the reservation. The environment was calm and relaxing, to just sit there and pet the sleepy cats. They had many cats inside that each had their own personality. The cats are free to roam around. Some were calm while others were playful. If you are looking to adopt and spend time with a cat this would be a great idea to try. The employee there at the time of our reservation was very kind and welcoming. Great place for any age group. Will definitly be returning again.

The most pleasurable experience. As a cat lover visiting from NY it was a MUST SEE. Super calming. Friendly worker. Super friendly cats. Most were napping but many were up & interactive. Not sure WHY anyone would give a poor rating. I paid for an hour & left before my time was up. Didn’t complain about the price. It was well worth it!

best hour of my life! the woman helping us was so sweet, and we basically had the room to ourselves! it was nice and quiet and calm and the kitties enjoyed spending time on our laps! we left feeling relaxed i want to go back asap!

Petting the cats and playing with them in a quiet, lovely room has a tendency to make visitors want to take a cat nap with them. Pay by the minutes or hour to come into the cat area requires making a reservation ahead of time. Depending on the day, you might be able to just drop in unannounced. Cat adoption is highly recommended but not expected. The visits included many black cats, a mottled calico cat, and black and white tuxedoed cats. No kittens this time. Some cat souvenir, gift items are available for purchase. This is a calm activity that is good for the soul.

The purrfect place to spend an hour. I love bringing my sister and her family here whenever they come into town. We especially appreciate that they provide a safe place for shelter cats to be snuggled and socialized until they can find their forever home.

Up tight environment, with 30mins left till closing time, $17 for a 15mins session my 8yr old son was asked exit so the cashier could clean up which she was done before he put on his shoes ....... I think it's a ripe off !!!

We did the 1 hr visit so we didnt feel rushed. We had a great time and the hostess was kind and welcoming. The cats were awesome! Total relaxing break while walking through state street.

My visit at Cat Therapy was my first time at a cat-driven business. Ha! I have to say, we had the greatest time. I was very impressed with how clean the place was and how happy and content the cats were. I cannot have a cat at home, but I was reminded during my visit how much I love cats. We will be back!!

Lots of kitties and meow meow, purrfect way to spend a date or unwind with friends. Pricier than a movie ticket tho, but the aristocrats and catpatilalists keep rent high so the kitties must pay to stay until you adopt them. 10/10

We came on a quiet Sunday myself and two daughters it was a great time. Plenty of kitties out and about. We absolutely loved Amos the bulling bully lol. Staff was great and pleasant. I will return again to take my mom when we visit Santa Barbara again.

My friend and I had a great time! There were so many toys for the cats to play with as well as an exercise wheel and perches for them to escape to when they had enough socializing. The girl who checked us in was very sweet too. I wanted to go back the next day!
