I am super impressed with Advantage Manufacturing company’s customer service and support and their awesome products at very affordable and reasonable prices. Eben and his team have earned 5 Plus Stars for going above and beyond in selling and servicing my pool pump. Advantage Manufacturing swimming pool supply store exceeded my expectations in every way. In addition, Eben helped me with terrific advice and went above and beyond the call of duty to see that I was totally satisfied with the pump I purchased. The team addressed my needs immediately and made me feel like a VIP. I will definitely call Advantage Manufacturing again for all of my swimming pool supply needs and I recommend them highly!! They are indeed my number one go to place for swimming pool equipment.

I called AM about a small part for a pretty old pool pump. Phil found it quickly, dropped it in an envelope (UPS charges $40!), and said it was a small part so no charge. Great service. I'll buy bigger parts from them any time! Highly recommend,

2 stars for each year of service ..Sadly my pool builder used Advantage Manufacturing "rebuilt" pump motors .. I noticed corrosion from pump motors after 6 months and it kept getting worse .. Now at almost 2 years both locked up one in January and now the other in February.. I like to buy from local business .. Now what ??

Hands down a great company. From the start of purchasing a portable vacuum system the folks who run this business impressed me. I am a residential pool owner in Phelan (the high desert) and every dust storm turns my pool into a mud puddle with tons of fine grain silt. We also live off a dirt road so ATV’s (Polaris type sand runners that go by at 90 mph) and cars too send up a ton of dust that makes its way into my pool as well when the wind is out of the wring direction. I found my Riptide useful to pickup larger debris but nearly worthless to pull out all the small silt from my pool and needed a better solution. Advantages vacuum (portable filtration system) was just the ticket to correct my dust issues in my pool. Usually my pool, hot tub, walk-in entry and everything in between get a coating of silt after EVERY wind event in late fall and early spring (usually weekly for several months) where dust storms deposit quarter-mile or even eighth-mile visibility insane volumes of dust into our area all day long from dry lake beds 15-20 miles away when the wind kicks up past 30-40 mph. Pretty sure all of Victorville and Apple Valley have this same issue downwind of these environments as well.My wife laughed at me when I told her we needed a professional grade vacuum to maintain our pool until she saw the results. I have a 20’ x 40’ foot pebble-tech pool (35,000 gal worth) with plenty of steps and a beach entry. The beach entry was not cleanable with the riptide because it would not maintain suction but the filtration vacuum system from Advantage works to go right up to the water line with my pool pole and vacuum head attached… in fact it works great! It takes me about an hour to vacuum out all the silt when it gets really bad but I’m pretty meticulous about it. I vacuum weekly for maintenance of our pool, (and it justifies the cost I invested into my Advantages portable pool filtration system). The cart and parts are well made for a pool professional and they have a slick cart mount for a vehicle hitch if you need to travel with it. I don’t have that but it looks well made and I’ll get one if I start my own Pool business to clean pools. While I use the equipment for personal use only right now I plan to one day join the pool route business myself. I now have the right equipment to do so when I’m ready to start my own business. The parts support is excellent when I mistakenly broke a part and the company rapidly sent me a new part rapidly.I recommend Advantage to friends, family, and anyone else I know. They feel like a small business that wants to see me succeed and are very friendly to help me on my journey into becoming a pool man if I choose to do that down the line. They are very supportive to want to see me succeed as part of their customer base. I see so many fake reviews of businesses on yelp where people talk about a particular name and say “great customer support” but on this business, I do have to insist that they truly do have great customer support… the likes if which I have never seen before from numerous types of businesses I have worked with to include even the guys that built my pool. Josh is great. I met with him when I purchased my pool vacuum and he helped me load up the equipment into my truck. They build Professional grade equipment, they are sincere and provide not just good bur EXCEPTIONAL customer support (not even exaggerating on that), and they stand behind what they build if and when parts are needed. Super happy camper! :)Improvements I would like to see: only thing I can complain about is they need a pool pole clip of some sort on the cart to hold a pool pole while I ravel the pool vacuum line into the pool with the vacuum head attached. I use the hand over hand technique to submerge the pool vacuum line and this tends to cause the rollers on the vacuum head to roll forward into the pool pulling the pool pole with it. I have learned to straddle my pool pole until I get all the line submerged and connected to the portable vacuum inlet line on intake side of their pump setup. Minor issue.

I needed to replace a pool pump and my brother who is the techical one in the family researched a viable and affordable replacement pump. He forwarded a pump Advantage was offering, the best deal by far, through Ebay, which I use quite a bit.I noticed that the company is based in Santa Ana, local to my area, and I wanted to avoid the delay in shipping, although shipping was free. So, I contacted the company through Ebay and received a very timely response agreeing to permitting me to pick it up locally.I purchased the pump and was able to pick it up the very next day! As I entered the office Eben, noticed the Marine Corps hat I was wearing and he thanked me for my service and told Phil to add another year to my warranty as a Marince Corps veteran.He was justifiedly proud of Advantage Manufacturing, and since I wasn't in any rush, he gave me a tour of the facility, which was very impressive!While I was there several customers came in to drop off or pick up pool pumps and other major pool supplies and they were all greeted with a very honest and enthusiastic welcome. There was no delay in any transaction, even though they appeared to be a very busy and vibrant company.I was very impressed with the high level of customer service, with Eben and the entire staff working quickly and proficiently to fulfill all the orders and transactions. All with the friendliness of neighbors and old friends. As a matter of fact, as a couple of the customers came in they were greeted by name! It was very evident that they were long time satifisfied customers.My brother had accompanied me to ask a couple of technical questions, which were answered with a great back background of knowledge and understanding. He was thoroughly impressed also.I highly recommend Advantage Manufacturing to anyone needing any type of pool equipment repair or replacement. I'm sure that you will get a great deal with a very professional and caring company!

I don't leave reviews often, and always say I should. Well I need to start and start here. Yesterday, I call and Phil answered and was awesome and said bring my broken pool motor and they would have a look at refurbishing or replacing. He was awesome on the call. So today I go in the receptionist was awesome and we talked about replacing and then a gentlemen looking like Jase of Duck Dynasty , didn't say much but let me take a look. 5 minutes later he comes back out and it was this part here. The Condenser, I asked so just replace this part. He replied, "no I already replaced it and your motor still has some years left. Over the top good old day's customer service!!!!! I believe his name was Noah, not sure. But this place took me back to the 70's and 80's with the service. Nice to see this day in age of rudeness, there are some good old boys and gals out there!!! Thanks Advantage!!!!

Needed to replace an expensive pond pump that came highly recommended that died under 14 months. I call Advantage Manufacturing and spoke with Eben C. to discuss my pond andnew pump options. After talking I did more research and actually called him 4 times in a week, he was patient and professional in helping me understand pump application. In the end I bought a 1hp pond pump from him that I've had installed for a month now and couldn't be happier. Its super quiet and pumps the gph I need.So much better that the very high-end pump that I had and this one cost less to run and purchase price was less. Adv sold me a much better pump for less money and Eben was great to deal with. two thumbs up!

These guys are top notch, had an issue with a pool pump I bought from them so I gave them a call. No questions asked he remembered me and he said no problem I will send you out a new pump ASAP and that’s exactly what they did. If you’re looking for affordable pool equipment along with great customer service then this is the place for you hands down. I’m so used to having to put up a fight to get something returned That’s under warranty but here they are concerned about taking care of the customer and getting to the bottom of what caused the problem. A++++ in my book thank you guys and I will be recommending everyone I know that has a pool to your company.

1/31/2023: This morning I went to this store bringing my 24 year-old Hayward pool pump to match the specification to buy a new one to replace. The old one just hums but doesn't run. When I entered the store, I met Mike, a sweet young man and showed him the pump and told him that I wanted to buy a new one that has similar specification. He immediately offered to test the pump first. After testing it, he said that the pump works and that its capacitor is the problem. He then fixed it by installing a new capacitor. The pump runs like new now. I wanted to pay for parts and labor but he said no, all free. I haven't seen any businessman so good hearted like this one. He saves me lots of money from buying a new pump. I'm forever very thankful that they're in our community. I'm glad I found them. Definitely will come back for my pool supplies.

Bought a spa pump from Advantage Manufacturing in February of 2022. In December pump started leaking where motor shaft went into pump. Water was spraying into motor and tripped breaker. Called Advantage twice and was told pump had 1 year warranty and that someone with warranty would get in contact and send a return ups tag. I was never contacted after two calls and emails. It had been almost 2 months sense trying to get this pump problem resolved. Had to order another pump from a different company due to freezing weather and concern about spa pipes bursting. I would not recommend buying from this company. This pump didn't even last 12 months.Soon after this review the owner did contact me and did send out a new water pump. I think it was just an oversite problem and they were sorry for not getting it out sooner. Now I have an extra pump but I am appreciative of their response.

I am very happy I found this place! Eben's customer service surpassed my expectations. He shipped my new pump out to me very quickly after receiving payment. When I had trouble with the installation, I reached out to him for a solution. He was fast to respond and helped me to get the new pump working. The price they quoted was very reasonable and, when I asked when they could have it done, I was asked "Do you want to wait?" In 25 minutes I was out the door with a repaired pump!

Unbelievable customer service provided by Josh. First and foremost he was very accommodating on the phone and even though it was Good Friday he happily helped me with a compressor motor I was having trouble with,....so I thought. He said bring it down and he would check to make sure what I needed, either a repair or replacement. When I got there he already had a suggestion on a replacement to save me money if need be. But before he suggested anything he said he wanted to check my motor to see if it could be repaired. He said give me about 15 minutes and he would check it at no charge. Well 5 minutes later he came out and asked me to come in to the shop to show me the problem. I walked up to my motor which was running flawlessly and he proceeded to show me an arced wire that was touching another causing it to short. The motor was absolutely fine.... the cost....no charge. Just my motor was bad, they sold me a new motor. Changed onto my pump. And saved me $$. Tell everyone needing a pool pump to call Advantage Manufacturing...

I had my old spa pump break down on me and was desperate to get it replaced everyone I called wanted to sell me a new one and that was over $600. and they couldn't even guarantee that a new one would fit. I called Ebenezer and he told me they could rebuild mine in an hour. I was blown away and the price was great, and works perfectly. These guys are great! thank you

This is your goto on stop pump shop for rebuilds or purchasing of a replacement parts all pumps are rebuilt with higher quality parts than the manufacture puts in their bearings and seals are not from China which is what most manufacturer's use. That's why these new pumps only last 3 to 5 year.My first bps was Hayward 2 1/2 years controller needed replaced Leslie's wanted 900 bucks instead bought a Jucuzzi brand j- vsp-250. 6 months after warranty expired bearings fry. Never again will I purchase pumps again from Leslie's pool supply.Advantage prices are the lowest and they don't rebuild with China parts.Also Would like to give Eben a special thank you it was a pleasure meeting you keep up the good work.
