First time at the San Ramon location for my two pups... each session was about 1.5 hours. It was easy to make reservations online and check in on the day of. They were very professional & personable, and they asked all the relevant questions such as length, style, etc. The place looks a bit chaotic with fur everywhere, but I guess that means they're popular & busy!! Upon picking up the pups, they looked happy with tails wagging. They also gave a nice perfume spritz and made my fur babies smell wonderful for days! I'll definitely be back.

Petco store is always consistent with above quality work!!! PROFESSIONAL and handle any problems with the customer and my pet that comes 1st. They work with you w/o tripping. Good common sense !! . This review is for grooming. Request to management: Please don’t let inexperienced groomers take care of our dogs.We had great: : experience the first time. The groomer patiently cut our yorkie’s hair and groomed him nicely. We came back to a happy and great looking dog.Second time was a nightmare. We got a different groomer , Kat for short. When we went to pickup our dog she casually mentioned our dog got a cut near the ear and there was blood and is doing ok now ! We were hearing dog cries from behind the door and we were scared as to what has happened. When they got the dog out he was all scared and there was blood on his ear ! On panicking and asking how something like that can even happen, some friendly person named Stuart came up with a first aid kit and applied a spray and calmed us down. The groomer never even apologized and she said it happens all the time and walked inside ! If it happens all the time, the groomer is not doing a good job. On top of that the groomer almost literally shaved our dog for no reason. He just needed a trim.Based on the way the groomer handled the situation and cut our dogs hair, groomer is either new and inexperienced or in a bad mood , we are never taking our dog there after this experience.Don’t trust they’ll take good care of your dogs while you leave them there.

I’ve never had an issue with the petco grooming in San Ramon. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable and I feel comfortable bringing my dog there. Even in very busy days and times, they take time to answer my questions and never come off as rude or rushed. I appreciate that! My dog always comes back incredibly happy (and cute!) so I know she’s being taken care of.

THIS IS NEW TO FOR ALL CLIENTS, DRIVER, GIG WORKERS!PETCO HAVE A NEW POLICY THAT THEY WILL ASK YOU TO SHOW THEM YOUR ID (DRIVER'S LICENSE) TO THEM SO THEY CAN GIVE YOU WHAT YOU ORDERED! AND FOR THE GIG WORKERS! THIS POLICY DOESN'T APPLY FOR PET FOODS, IT ONLY APPLY FOR LIQIOR!BUT STILL INSISTING TO BE ID-ED JUST TO CONFIRM YOUR ARE THE DRIVER! IF YOU DON'T THEN, THEY WILL NOT GONNA HAND YOU WHAT YOU ORDERED! THIS IS AGAINST THE LAW!THEY SHOULD UPDATE THE FLATFORMS AND THE CUSTUMERS SO THAT THEY KNOW IF THEY WANT TO BUY PRODUCTS FROM THIS LOCATION!
