Be amazed as employees instantly disappear and leave one employee stranded with dozens of customers pacing in frustration.I feel terrible for the employee who showed genuine care and compassion.This location needs an employee tune up!

Don’t bother making an appointment for a vaccine as you will be told to wait in the long line for the pharmacy anyway. The employee even said “I know it doesn’t make sense, but you have to wait in line behind the people getting prescriptions,” so at least we are on the same page about the inefficiencies.Truly a mess here.

Been here three times in three days and not able to get prescriptions. Wait in line for almost an hour each time. They just move SLOW. One person working the counter and he walks away from the counter even though there are 6-7 people in line

I scheduled an appointment online for a vaccination. I arrived a half hour early for my, 3:15 PM appointment. After entering the store at 3:00PM, I waited in a very long line wherein people were very frustrated with some walking out of the store. I finally was called to the window at around, 3:20. Suffice to say, the clerk told me they didn't have me on their schedule despite seeing the conformation appointment info on my phone. He then told me that appointments are every 15 mins and it's now 3:30pm and they can't do extra work. He left the window and upon his return he told me they are out of the vaccine thet I need! I didn't believe him from what he had already told me so I asked to speak to the Pharmacist. When he (Adam) came to the window he was very rude and unprofessional, telling me, "I don't think we have it." I said, "you don't think?!" He replied, "well we don't," then turned and walked away shaking his head as if he was angry and annoyed by me! This place is horrible! From the filthy parking lot and cluttered store to the customer service, I will never return there again. I believe that the people of this community deserves much better.

Pharmacy is always a massively looonnggg slllooowwwwwww line of people waiting to pick up prescriptions.For years Walgreens chooses to massively understaff the pharmacy, forcing people to waste valuable, unreplaceable time just waiting in slow long line of other people doing the same just to pick up our medications.Longtime horrible understaffing decisions by management.

I saw that my prescription was delayed and called to find out the story. I waited on hold for an hour and when the snotty pharmacy clerk finally answered she told me they were out of stock and I should call around other pharmacies! What?! I told her I'd been waiting on hold for an hour, she informed me that they "were busy, and didn't answer their phone!" What!!? The Walgreens in San Anelmo closed due to poor service and never answering their phones as well. Dump this poor service business!!

TLDR: The manager of the Walgreens destroyed my priceless photos (physical memories) that I can never get back.I had my film developed at Walgreens and I can tell you that I will never be doing that again. I got a disposable film camera for my final 27 days of college (27 exposures), so that I could take a photo every day. I had photos of amazing moments with my friends, photos with acquaintances I may never see again, and other fun memories of my final weeks in college. I dropped off my camera at Walgreens to get the photos developed.Today I picked up my photos and they were awful. This is probably the 10th disposable camera I've had before and I've never had them turn out like this. Yes I'll have some occasional light leaks and dark pics or overexposed ones, I know those are my fault and I know how film works. These pictures I received from Walgreens were clearly scanned horribly and rushed. The color was shifted and double exposed and I looked up what could have gone wrong (I blamed myself first) but it was the result of a TERRIBLE scanning job.I called Walgreens customer service to see if I could get my negatives back and they said to call the store I got it from. So I was directed back to this store and the manager said there's no way I can get the negatives back but he could give me a refund. I go back for my refund, I hand him my photos to scan the receipt that's on the photo packet, and he takes them to the back. Then he comes back and gives me my refund. Then after I ask him for my photos so I could at least keep my terrible ones because I can vaguely make out the pictures and I still can keep those memories. The manager (balding, older, reeks of cigarettes, skinny legs, wearing a tattered black t shirt and jeans) bluntly tells me he shredded them. My pictures. He just sent through a shredder. He seemed to enjoy that he ruined my day too even though I'd been nothing but polite to him.So Walgreens, please fire this sadistic A-hole who destroyed something I can never repurchase or reproduce. I am beyond upset and no refund could amount to how much those memories meant to me. The manager also seemed to never actually be doing work and kinda wandering around and hiding from customers, so the young man at the counter had to keep calling him to help the customers.Oh and by the way, the young man at the counter was the sweetest, most empathetic and understanding and wonderful gentleman I've ever seen work at this Walgreens. He actually looked concerned about my problem and wanted to help. Bless that young man, hope he's being treated okay by his manager because I cannot imagine that manager being a nice to anyone.

Thank goodness I didn't need anything from the pharmacy because the line was super long to pick up prescriptions. Although when checking out the service was extremely fast.

I was a long-term client of Lucky Pharmacy in Larkspur, who closed as sold all clients information to Walgreens. Went to pick up my medications and waited in line for well over one hour on a Sunday afternoon. Terrible first experience. Should have read the other reviews to realize this is no place to do business. As a medical professional I expect better in the businesses supporting our wellbeing.

From my experiences over the last 20 years other than some long waits on the phone I have always gotten excellent service from this Walgreens pharmacy. They have on several occasions gone out of their way to find what I needed at another store and even gone for it. The pharmasists I have talked to on the phone and in the store are knowledgeable and usually solve any problems I can not speak about the management; they are polite if not always able to help. Walgreens has a very convenient location and there is ample parking.

Call to make sure pharmacy is actually open as they have metered parking. I showed up at 11:15, payed the meter one 1/2 hour, only to find out that the pharmacy was taking lunch from 9am - 1pm.How nice, I mentioned to the cashier lady that they should update the website to inform public that they take 4 hr lunch breaks so folks ain't paying the city of San Rafael money for nothing. The lady jus gave me a blank (do I look like I care) stare.This place only gets one star jus so I can rant.

RUDE AND AGGRESSIVE Employee Flores Santiago was verbally abusive with me, refused to help me, refused to charge me and threatened me to physically throw merchandise at me! Employee was upset after I interrupted her phone call because I needed to pick up my online order. She yelled at me and threaten my safety. Terrible experience and horrible service. Not to mention that the store looked dirty, disorganized and this employee had no idea how to look for orders.

The pharmacist is the most impatient and rude person I have ever had the displeasure to speak with. How this person is allowed to have any contact with the public is a mystery. She would not allow me to finish a single sentence and interrupted over and over again and putting me on a hold as well. Perhaps she would be more suited for dispensing abuse rather than medications. Avoid this pharmacy at all cost. BTW the drive-thru window at this location is not working and don't expect any accommodation.

COVID testing not available here despite what their website says. Drive thru pharmacy closed due to their lack of staffing. Also means long wait times at the pharmacy.Online site says at home COVID test kits are available in this store for pickup but the store is actually sold out. Terrible online and offline experience sync there. No wonder Holmes could scam this company's leadership with basic lies. Their digital and store ops are a joke.Parking lot here is metered. Meters default to 2hr max limits and couldn't reduce it. Forced to pay for 2hrs when only needed 30mins max.

One of the worst pharmacies.....ever.Horrible wait times.Latest experience: Dropped prescription off and was told that it would be ready in one hour. Returned two hours later since their time estimates are always wrong. I was wrong about the time estimate this time because they LOST THE PRESCRIPTION!!!Still waiting for them to find it.The typical experience goes something like this:They tell you your prescription will be ready in 45 minutes....come back an hour later....they still have not started. Wait another 45 minutes while they fill other prescriptions, service drive up customers and even ring up customers who are purchasing random items from elsewhere in the store.Usually they do not even have the medication you need in stock. Was told today that they do not have the medication to fill my prescription from last week, they did not receive the medication this week either and that they have no idea if they will ever be receiving the medication.One of the main distributors for the Clipper transportation cards and located right near the San Rafael Transit Center. Somehow they managed to run out of Clipper cards to sell and they never ordered more.Sketchy location, people tweaking in the parking lot, homeless congregations by the front door and garbage strewn parking lot. Expect to be asked for spare money, spare drugs or spare booze.Spare yourself the agony and go somewhere else.

This is THE WORST PHARMACY. They have lost my medications, given me the wrong medications, and are unbelievably unorganized. Their staff is incompetent and rude and when I pointed out their mistake they did not care. AVOID THIS PHARMACY AT ALL COSTS!!! This place is disgusting! With rude customer service. Try asking any employee for help they had additude. Tried to go to the bathroom. And it was foul AF! There was sprayed poop on the toilet. TP and God knows what else on the floors. NO SEAT COVERS! And an entire novel of inappropriate content scratched or written into the walls. Even tried to talk to a manager, he was too busy in the back, he couldn't help a customer. Which is an EXACT example of how his staff acts. Not to mention, the other manager, was coincidentally on lunch as well. So, unfortunately, their bathroom will remain a mess and as long as those 2 are managers of this establishment expect to be treated second to all. Beyond disappointment.

In the drive up for thirty minutes with one car in front of me. I concur with the other post. This place has no customer service skills nor care about its customers. I ended up leaving and going up to Northgate. The service there is just as bad. No employees. The pharmacist had to wait in customers at the window. Wow!

I bought some Omeron eletroTHERAPY pain relief pads for $22, $25 with tax. Only to get home and find the package was empty. Of course I didn't take the receipt, but that doesn't matter, they won't listen to you. This is a shady Walgreens in a shady area of town. Make sure you're getting what you're paying for.
