So many reasons I enjoy shopping here. Convenience, helpful employees, incredible selection of bulk grains, flours, sugars, dried fruits and vegetables, organic foods, new items to discover and shop for, seasonal gourmet organic and fair trade, herbal...I could go on. Put this place on your list if you care what you put in your body and you read nutrition labels like I do. I work with fragile patients w/serious health issues, and this store is on my/our go-to list. ;)

A well organized, big, tidy, clean and well supplied health food store. Many items had very reasonable prices. Good variety. Produce was clean and fresh. Aisles are wide and accommodate free flow of traffic. Parking lot is large and accommodates free flow of traffic. Overall I was very impressed with this store.

Great local grocery store for everything you might find in other “health emphasizing” stores. I often buy bulk items such as popcorn kernels, short grain sushi rice (best price in town), pumpkinseed and quinoa.Lots of plant based no dairy items are available. I’ve never seen so many brands/offerings of non diary frozen treats at any other stores.I also enjoy their 20% off all vitamins week and sometimes refrigerated Tofu will be on sale at $1 each too.

I really like this Sprouts location, San Rafael, the employees are very kind and welcoming nonjudgmental….There is a lot of homeless outside around the area, but the store is clean and parking is always available.

Best local grocery store. The deals on meat and vegetables here (often Sunday mornings) are insane. Organic chicken breast for 0.99 a pound, that kind of thing.

I am pretty happy with this Sprouts store, it has become my go-to. LOTS of alternative and healthy options, and produce is really decent without the insane prices. Nice meat counter and deli. I appreciate the huge selection of health and beauty aids, and I always find the many "superfoods" and supplements I'm looking for at reasonable prices. Friendly atmosphere and staff.

I shop at sprouts for their fresh fish and meat. Also whenever I want to try something different for lunch or dinner I go there. It doesn't change the fact for me thats it's a bit pricey but it's a nice store and the staff are very helpful. This is my next project lol

Prices are great! Store is always clean. A checker called for backup, and a very disgruntled Andrew came out of the office, said the F word, and told a customer, " well, I guess you can come over here". Very unpleasant. Anyway, that's my review.

It's a very refreshing experience shopping at Sprouts. The people are nice and helpful and their selection is great, with products arranged compactly so you can get around the whole store and find everything you need in a short time, . There aren't many things I need that they don't have, including plenty of veggies, bulk products, supplements, cereals, and juices, including some hard-to-find brands.

Never shopped at Sprouts before, but heard enough good things about it to give it a try. The produce was exceptional and definitely priced way better than $afeway. I will definitely be shopping here again. Update: I've been back multiple times and absolutely love the place. The produce is always fresh and the staff has always been friendly and helpful.

Edit: There is a ridiculous amount of staff parking for Sprouts in that lot now, and I think it's safe to assume anyone who has seen a line at the store knows they will never have that many people working at the store at a given time! It's possible they are all hiding in the back busy with something but I think the reality is they simply don't hire that many people, even excluding the long checkout lines just walking around the store observing people stocking shelves etc. it is clearly NOT that many people. If they don't want to give their employees that many hours they should just let them all double park so there's no chance of dinging each others car, because there is DEFINITELY enough spaces for two each.Unfortunately most Sprouts stores seem to be understaffed so that there's always a long checkout line. (I think one store elsewhere does a bit better) Other than that most items are not at a good price, in the past some produce deals are there but not sure now.The Sprouts brand pasture raised eggs seem to be really poor quality - yellow rather than orange yolks and the shell is so thin that you have to figure the chickens are not that healthy. In comparison TJ's started out with more orange yolks and at least the shells are not so thin still so that's telling.In short: Seems to be a few obscure deals every so often, but this does appear to be pretty much company wide and is not specific to this store.

Really clean and tidy store, enjoyed the time I spent shopping here..... I forgot my glasses at home so I had to get really close to the price tags so I could see them, and unfortunately due to my attire I was followed around like I was stealing. My little dog absolutely hates strangers so anytime someone got close to the cart she would lose it, and I'd have to calm her down again. Please people let's judge people on actions not attire!!!!

Great location!The workers in the deli department are always on point and always make my favorite sandwich perfectly! If you haven't tried the Caprese sandwich here you should!! Yum!!!!I would give them 10 stars if I could!! I highly recommend this place.Kudos to all of the extra hard workers here, you guys are doing phenomenal!!!!!

Gotta Love Sprouts... Produce is terrific, Deli is Yummy and the Butcher Shop is great as well. The bins of dry goods are equally good and well priced. They have a 2 hr window on delivery service (although during COVID-19 restrictions quite a few times I have taken substitutions for what I wanted). Great sales as well.

8 out of 10 times that I only had one or two items had to wait in long lines, and ended up leaving the items and leave the store. They should seriously think about having at least couple of express lanes!

This store has some good stuff, I appreciate the organic produce and options. I hadn’t been there for a long time and at first I wondered why! But the I saw the line and immediately remembered. (11-11:30am today) The lines are consistently long and what I’ve always noticed is that the staff seems so unhappy! I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a staff member who seemed glad to be at work, except one fellow who was always smiling and kind, often around the produce area. He stuck out as the one person who smiled! I tried to buy seafood today and nobody was available to work the counter. Lots of employees but they had an attitude of, well, it’s not my job, not sure where that person is. Lines half way through the store, lots of workers, nobody really cares. I got someone to agree to open another register but this is why I stopped coming and why I won’t come back. The person was slow, and the bags she packed burst as soon as I walked outside. Groceries all on the concrete. There was no care about the job she was doing. It says a lot about the management that everyone seems so miserable in their jobs there. Change is clearly needed in this workplace!!

Great fresh supermarket sushi. Far tastier than Whole Foods or Nugget. And on Wednesday is $5 each. But at this location in San Rafael, watch what time you visit. Around 10:30-12:30 it seems like 75% of the staff takes a siesta. There’s almost never 2 checkout lanes open, and even when they have a 2nd lane open, the lines are 6+ deep and SLOW. I’m not always in a hurry. But when there’s checkout-trained staff there, and they’re just milling around with so many customers in line, it just reeks.

I really enjoy this location of Sprouts.Their staff is friendly and helpful.Sales are great. I would suggest to shop in the morning, as later in the day, they run out of produce and popular items.Their weekly and 72 hours sales are a excellent way to save money.

Love sprouts, but i have slowed down on shopping there because of very rude service from deli guy. Short haired, tatood deptment manager very rude to others in deli and me. I have stopped using your deli because of him. We use to buy 5 or 6 wraps or sandwiches a week and lots of cold cuts. GREAT deli one bad egg. Customers service is more important than saving store a few pennies on extra tomatoes or a different cheese on my sandwich. Which I was happy to pay extra for. I just want my sandwich the way I want it.

This is by far the best grocery store in Marin county. Partially because I work here, but I would still say so if I didn't! 😁 All the managers are great. I feel blessed to have found such a great place to work part-time. Ever since falling victim to a serious bike accident, life has really been a struggle for me. Sprouts has greatly improved my quality of living. I love it here, and you will too.

Today was my first visit at about 8:30 PM. I was just planning to scope it out but there was such a great deal on Sockeye salmon I had to buy some. On the other hand, about half the beef in the case looked gray and about three days past sellable. I’ll be back to see if that was an aberration, since the prices were pretty good. I only bought the fish and didn’t really take a good look at the produce since I had stocked up elsewhere earlier.

Really like coming here. They have good stock and fresh food. I especially like the in-house sausages they make as well as their gummy bears from the bulk food section.Phone signal is weak inside but they have free wifi!

I totally love this place and so does anyone i have sent here. the staff go out of their way to help. the prices are way better than any supermarket in marin. the quality of the veggies is great. good gluten free dept. i'm not so happy with the meat dept although today i bought wild catch atlantic salmon on sale for $7.99 a lb and whole foods had it at $14. the staff love it there. they celebrate staff's birthday in the store. go check it out.

Staff are wonderful. Wish the store had more room, it really can get annoying when more than one person is in an isle.. They pack a lot of inventory in a very small store yet items on shelves are front faced and perfect every time. Great store?

Visited this sprouts at 9:15 in the morning. It had been open since 7. Not many people in the store. Went over to the area where they make smoothies. Stood there about 5 minutes until someone noticed me. There were several people in the area. When someone came over and asked what I wanted he said that he didn't know how to make that smoothie. It was new. No recipes. Just passed down from the elders? Then I tried to get him to make another one and he didn't know how to make that one either. Brought someone else over. She said the machine wasn't ready or not working - hard to understand them. Offered to make me a sandwich - yeah, really. Similar experience at the checkout. Clerk nice. Only one line open. Other nearby staff busying themselves in other important matters. Another customer in line with a week's worth of groceries that was going to take forever - lots to be weighed. She was nice enough to let me and another customer go with our few items. No self checkout. I'd look for an alternative next time.
