Staff was very helpful, even though they were very busy on a Sunday afternoon, they offered to call me when they had time for my dog's nail trim, and even worked with my time window. They did a great job and were very caring with my very anxious pup.

Poorly managed operation with lousy customer service. My senior dog has some minor special needs that I always talk to a potential groomer about upfront. The store associate assured me the manager would be doing the work and my pet would be well taken care of, so I made an appointment.Fast forward several weeks, I show up and it turns out I am "not in their system." The manager gets defensive and insists it isn't her fault, which I didn't say, imply, or even care about. Then she insinuated it was impossible for me to have made an appointment at the time I did, as if I were making this up?At this point, perceiving that she was being rude to me, I told her pointedly that if she didn't want to help me she should tell me to leave. This snapped her out of the unsolicited finger pointing for a moment, and she offered me an appointment in a week. Not what I was hoping for, but I didn't balk at the offer.Then, while I was trying to book this new appointment, the manager starts telling me how none of this is her fault again! So I told her to forget it, I didn't ask whose fault it was and I didn't come here to tell her how to manage the groom station. But with the manager blaming absent employees and prsent customers for basic operational lapses, I wonder where the buck stops.

I highly recommend Petco, SRafael grooming. My groomer, Taryn always does an excellent job. She asks me what I want, listens and executes on instructions. My dog comes out smelling great wit a perfect cut.

My dog Enzo is not good with people or large dogs but he just loves one of the groomers that works in the San Rafael Store. She knows his name when we come in and he wags his tail when he sees her. We only come in on Sunday's because we know she will be there working. Staff their is very nice and always have great service.

Adrianna was right on time and her finished work is exemplary. For instance, she not only dremeled Skeeter's nails to exactly the right length, she ROUNDED off all straight edges so the nails would never scratch even silk! THANK YOU!!!

I wanted my puppy groomed and called, pushed the grooming option, no answer, called again, no answer, the voicemail says that I could go online and schedule so I do; the website (after asking me to fill in ALL of my info) says that my puppy is too small to schedule online so I need to call.....so I do; I call, no answer, I call again, no answer; so I finally press the main store option and a very ride man answers, I explain that there is no answer on the grooming line; "because their grooming"....with a very sarcastic attritude. This man had no desire to assist or listen to why I was calling the main store number. I will NOT be taking my puppy to Petco, this company does not understand customer service nor earning business. 👎

Ashley really worked above and beyond to make sure I got an appointment. She called me back a few times following up to make sure grooming had called me,etc. Really, you just don't receive service like that anymore.
