My experience at this shop was outstanding because of Emily - she went above and beyond for me and my pups, and I wanted to express my gratitude. I have 2 elderly little Maltese, one is going through treatment for lymphoma and the medication he’s on makes him hungry ALL the time. It was the end of the day and we were out of food, so I did a search for one of their favorite brands, “Just Food for Dogs” on google maps and the closest location was a few minutes away from where I was. I drove to the address, but I couldn’t find it, so I called the store (in actuality it was Petfood Express, but there’s a listing error on google maps). Anyway, Emily picked up the phone and she is so sweet, warm and bubbly. I verified the location, and was thankful the store was still open so I thanked her and told her I would be there shortly. She informed me that the store had actually just closed (another google maps error). I expressed my disappointment because I really needed to pick up some food. She asked how close I was (I was in the parking lot) and because she hadn’t closed out the register just yet she said she could check me out if I wanted to run in. She was waiting for me at the door, I knew exactly what I needed, she helped me pick out a few flavors and checked me out. I was so very thankful!! She truly understands the meaning of exceptional customer, and helped me (and my hungry pup) in a time of need. It’s not very often that I leave an establishment feeling like the person I interacted with really cares, but this was one of those rare moments. I would definitely go out of my way to visit this shop again because it was such a good experience. Thank you again!

Great place to shop for ur pet.i have to say that I love having this store close to where I live because,1 ) if you buy anything and your pet doesn't like or want to eat what u bought ,you can go back and bring the items back, no questions ask just don't lose the recipet, and they have large selection and they know their stuff, plus they have vet on the promises, every other month ,so it's great you have lots at your finger tips with out the price,of an actual veterinary.ok good luck my cat lucky wishes you all pet lovers a very happy holiday year 2023

I go here for my own pets and nothing wrong with the store, however, one of the employees makes me feel uncomfortable because he ALWAYS tries to talk me into buying stuff I don't need as soon as I enter. "How old is your dog? Do you brush his teeth? What dog food do you feed him? What toothpaste do you use?" And the last time I went looking for a bed for my dogs crate, they didn't have one small enough and he literally said, which shocked me, "Well, you can buy one of our bigger beds and fold it in half." Like really!? That's trying WAY too hard to make a sell. Do they work off commission? I don't want to shop here anymore because he always bombards customers and tries to get them to buy things they didn't go there for.

This store was open during the power outages. They were very welcoming and helped us locate everything we needed for our 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs and our rabbit. They made the process super easy, especially since we were staying at the evacuation center. Definitely will recommend/shop here in the future!

They are always friendly when you walk in and of course if you bring your pup in, they will say hi and give them attention.The store is relatively small compared to some of their other stores and they have placed the dogwash in the back. Which is fine, but the one in Novato has it near the front with big windows so it's well lit. Not too much of an issue, just an observation.Prices are a bit more premium than some other stores, but the selection of items is also premium. They also run a lot of buy three get one free deals, so it might equal out in the end.

Workers are kind, helpful and generous with samples. My dog is a picky eater and we found his favorite treats there as they were giving free samples -- human grade, dried chicken slices. Self serve dog baths are a lifesaver, and the shampoo leaves his fur smelling wonderfully. Staff are very knowledgeable about the supplies

Awesome staff. I cannot say Enough about them. This location, as well as the only other one I have come into contact with, adjacent to Kitty Corner, the Marin Humane (non-euthanasia comprehensive Animal Care Facility and Adoption Facilitators) satellite adoption location, in San Anselmo. This company's moral and or ethical efficacy comprising their governing decision making as to the specific (predominantly) Canine and Feline food fare offerings, and the companies chosen to stock their store shelves with, idealistically and utopicially, I wish were more studied by their competitors, is second to none, and exceptional. Their auspiciously aware client-friendly ideologies and life-long-client-initiation-worthy policies, regarding the selective olfactory senses (aromatics), particular tastes, and with textures, is based on the preferential specifics, of that of, yep, your and my pets. Things like this, really do, go a long way, in creating for me, a somewhat lasting and or staying, new-found faith, in our species, and humanity.

All Pet Food Express stores are wonderful. They carry a broad selection of dog and cat food and supplies, as well as a well-equipped dog washing station. In addition, and the reason I visited the Terra Linda store, was the low-cost vaccination clinic VIP Pet Care holds there every Friday - another way Pet Food Express supports the pet-loving community!

Entire staff is helpful and friendly, prices are fair, self service k9 showers are clean, plenty of towels, aprons, conditioners, warm water, blow dryers, $15 for 30 mins.

I am a customer for life. Anthony went above and beyond. I'm very seasoned in customer service; but, I learned from his example.His customer service skills are on the level of a 5 star hotel.My 77 year old mother arrived at closing time. She was dogsitting my blind senior dog. Anthony was able to help her even though the had just closed.His manager was also very attentive. She was helping another customer, but she obviously was able to multitask and hear what I was saying to Anthony.

I like the simplicity of this place. You walk in, find what you need and skidaddle out. And if you decide to linger, there's only so many aisles to wander through which is a good thing when you have your family waiting for you to hurry home.
