This store is always well stocked with everything i need for my cat and dog. I recently needed a new litter box and found the store had many options. Also the grooming department does an excellent job on cleaning up my lab and grinding her nails down.

We just moved from Colorado and it was time for our pup’s grooming visit. Maria is an excellent groomer and our girl enjoyed being pampered by her. I highly recommend this location for your pet’s grooming needs.

First my dog Charlie and I took a training class with Marisa the dog trainer. She is excellant, very knowledgeable and loves her work. Truly cares about the dogs and very good with the owners too.

I used to only shop at Petco, now I only shop at pet food express and centinella & try not to go to Petco if I don’t need to. The customer service phone number is the worst. My reward points always disappear & it is a terrible system! The employees that work there never want to help you & seem so unhappy. I really hate Petco so much!

Mark was very helpful. Took his time with me. Unfortunately, the company Imaginarium, who sends live bugs, is the worst on selling actually LIVE feeder bugs. Most are dead in the containers and because I have amphibians, I have to go elsewhere to feed my pets what they need. Get another company! By ghe way, I have found this experience in most Petco stores I have been to. So it is jot this particular store, just the company has bad product and Petco should consider another provider. IMO

Had an appt and didn't have to wait, the care they had with my cat made me feel very comfortable and can feel the care they take in making the animals feel safe. The person who carried my cat into the back held him in his Carrior securely and with care. Both times I've been here I've felt comfortable and taken care of. My feeling were valid and I know my cat is in good hands. So glad I finally found a vet that cares.

I went to the Petco store in San Pedro.I needed to return the flea preventivemedication for a dog. Then, I will getthe prescription of flea preventive oral medicine from the veterinarian.After that, I wanted to buy a dog bed. Petco had a big sale, and the San Pedro Petco store offered more selectionsof products than Torrance Petco store.First, I returned the flea medicationThen, I went to the Vetco clinic, whichwas located in the Petco store.I saw a young lady who was sitting in front of the Vetco clinic. I asked herabout the prescription of flea preventive oral medication for my dog.She said that my dog needed to see a veterinarian first, and then they would charge the prescription fees for each month when you get the refill medicine.I was confused about the charges ofthe prescription fees for each month's.Therefore, they would charge so much money for prescription fees.I liked my dog' Veterinarian, but theyovercharged for the prescription fees.I needed to find an affordable animal clinic near my home.Anyway, I came out from the clinicand I walked to the Petco store.I found a dog bed which was on a sale.Regular price was $28.99 before, andFor sale, it was only $11.99, which was a great price. The dog bed was donut 🍩shape. My dog tried the bed. He sat on the bed, and he didn't want to come out. He must have liked it a lot.It was made with soft materials, and it was a good quality dog bed.Also, I got vitamins for my dog, too.After I paid the dog bed & vitamins, we came home.I recommend the Petco store in San Pedro to all the pet parents.My dog and I like to shop at the Petcostore. My dog enjoys smelling dog treats, dog foods & dog toys. And Ilike to play with all kinds of new dog toys.

It is always hard to take advantage of the buy online and pick up in store promotion. The dog food I buy always says out of stock. But when I get to petco there is plenty on the shelf to purchase in the store. But when I purchase in the store I do not get the promotional discount.

I have been coming here for about 15 years, and it has always been great. A local classic, huge in size, they are inside a shopping plaza which is in the heart of the shopping area in San Pedro, on Western Ave.They hav grooming and sometimes adoptions here,everything u could need for any pets - birds, dogs, cats, rodents, fish etc.I definitely recommend it, every time I went in seeking advice or looking for anything, they were all very sweet and helpful.

I wish I could give zero star. I was late 20 min to the appointment and they cancelled my appointment all together. Even tho they called me and I told them I am 1 mile away and they told me it is fine bring them. I will no longer take my dogs to this place.

I don’t feel comfortable taking my dog to get groomed here anymore , I noticed he was scared every-time I would drop him off and my dog loves water later I found some scratches. I found a new groomer and he doesn’t freak out when I’m dropping him off like he did with this store .The younger girls in the front of the grooming shop are really rude as well no manners and always in a rush

Aaron is always so helpful! Really makes me want to return to Petco more often. To be greeted with a friendly smile and a "How are you doing today?" Is rare in customer service these days. The grooming staff are awesome with my Golden’s nail trimming and buffing. Reasonably priced at $15. We take her monthly. We love the Whole Hearted Puppy Food that Petco sells.

Horrible treatment of reptiles! They had at least 6-7 crested geckos in one small enclosure, they were fighting and some even had wounds. Unacceptable!

Although the groomer was late she did a really great job on our dog. He was bathed and we requested the essentials plus package. When I picked him up he smelled great and looked great and was his usual self just ready to go home! Thank you Breonna!

Our dog, Max loves taking a ride in the car and when we tell him we're going to Petco he gets excited. He knows when we pull in to the parking lot where it's located. He starts whinny with excitement. It's a dog thing. We pick up most of his pet supplies there and it's where he gets groomed. I think we should be able to claim our pets as dependents. We spend more on him than we did with all my kids to gather at his age...which is 3 years.
