Such a nice store! Owner was very helpful and has outstanding customer service. Probably the best out of all the fish stores i have ever been too here. A huge selection on tanks and saltwater fish are very healthy! The display tank is beautiful. I wish I lived closer i would be coming everyday.

Went to get sea water for my saltwater tank and when I did a 25% water change the very next day everything in my 20 gallon tank had died. I checked my parameters and had excessively high salinity levels. When I called back to tell the store owner what happened he pretty much stated there was nothing he could do stating another persons issue with bad food when this was an issue with the premixed saltwater I received from them! Don’t purchase premixed water from them at all worst decision ever. I’ve had my tank for half a year and have had no issues and as soon as I use their water everything died. I guess it’s partially my fault since I should’ve checked the water I was placing into my tank before hand but their “ expert guy” mixed my water and assured me there was nothing wrong with it. At the end of the day their negligence and ignorance cost them another customer.

My 2 star review is mainly about price. Kind of outrages prices when you compare to everything you can buy online or Amazon. To the owner: bring your prices down a bit and you’ll get more sales. I’ve seen some reviews here and they also say your prices are high. There’s no doubt that you guys know your stuff but the prices are extremely out of control. The same GFCI outlet adapter I got from you costs $20 on Amazon and you sold it to me for $80. That’s kind of a rip off. I get it, you have a specialty store and need to pay rent. But wow. Also, the Aquatop SP-9 UV was way over priced. You sold it to me for $170 plus tax and I can find the same one online for $70-90 bucks. I don’t think I’ll be going back. I checked your receipt and it says “all sales are final”, so I won’t even bother calling you or going back. I’ll just make a public review so other people are aware of your prices so they can make a better decision. Competition is tough I know, but I also saw somethings you have for sale at your store that you can buy the same exact items at a Petco for about half the price. Long story short man, I was impressed by the knowledge y’all have but the prices need some adjusting. At least for me and many others that have said the same. Nice store and great fish though. Don’t think you’ll see me in there again. I’ll post a picture of my receipt just so it backs up what I said.

By far the best , cleanest and well kept tropical fish store around. All the guys there are really experienced and cool .This place has EVERYTHING!!!! Awesome environment and inventory. Parking is short but still easily accessible as it has front and rear doors to either enter or exit .Salt or fresh water , doesn’t matter as they are ready for any difficult task or questions as they have NOT ONLY sold me healthy African Cichlids that are to this day thriving but have kept me on top of my water perimeters as well as supplying me with a quality diet for my babies.

This is by far one of the best fish stores I've seen. They know what they are talking about, great animals in stock and the people who run the store will bend backwards to make sure that you are set up with anything that you need for fish or to ver started in the aquarium hobby. I got two betta fish from here Lewis (in white) and clark (In red), not to mention their stock of betta fish appear healthier than those found at petco or other big name brands. 10/10 I will definitely be coming back here again.

This is a great LFS that is military friendly (there is a military discount/ just have to ask). The brothers are very knowledgeable and passionate about the hobby. They carry just about everything that you might need. Give them a shot!

This place is soo cool! The variety of freshwater fish, tank decorations, tanks, and more is great. The prices are greatly and options amazing for portions and quality. The owners are both so great and staff so pleasant . I will definitely come back and recommend you to check them out for your sea needs

I wish I would have discovered this place a long time ago. They seem to have a very good selection of African cichlids and the fish looked pretty healthy, but I didn’t make it very far into the store because once I saw the 3 1/2 inch redtail shark in one of the tanks near the front of the store, I bought it immediately and hurried home. I’ll definitely have to come back soon and take the time to look around the store some more but it may be a while before I buy anymore fish because my 135 gallon tank is full now lol. But this is definitely a future go-to spot when more space becomes available for more fish.

What a amazing place to shop! We were going to get our daughter her first fish tank and went to our local big box pet stores to get ideas and ask questions, but we soon found out the staff members are no experts and were not very detailed in there answers, just basic knowledge. So a good friend recommended 7 seas but we live in Long Beach so I tried to stay local. But after not really feeling comfortable with what was around here we drove out to Pedro, and I was so glad I listened to my buddy. Juan is the man! He was very knowledgeable in what was reasonable for her first tank and completely schooled us on what to expect. He made or daughter top priority and talked to her and explained everything as if she was the sole customer. What a wonderful experience for all of us to enjoy worth every penny we spent here. We are so happy with our purchase and set up exactly like he told us on the video we took of him walking us through our on the spot YouTube tutorial on how to set up our tank! Juan thanks for treating us like family your knowledge and professionalism proceeds you. Keep up the amazing service and look forward to future purchases.

Love this shop. Guys are very knowledgeable, friendly, and the store is nice and clean. All the fish look bright and healthy. No dead fish floating in the tanks (something I see in most other stores). Gonna stock my new 75 gallon all with fish from this store. Definitely recommend.

I’m not being a customer here but don’t want to mess with their rating. Went in today because I thought it would be more fun and educational to go to the rad fish store instead of the internet. We’re moving into an apartment this week and I was shopping for a setup to buy as soon as we were moving in. I was hoping to learn about the different potential setups and options and have someone take the time of day to talk to me. I asked for help and the most involved guy there said pointed to a tank and told me well that one cost $12,000 before returning to ignoring me. So after some googling turns out I can get a pretty rad saltwater set up for less than 12,000$ elsewhere. We had previously been in a week or two before more for fun just to check it out and they also had no time for us to be their customer that time. I didn’t mind it as I was actually tire kicking. But today I was a very serious customer that will now be someone else’s customer. It is a physically cool store. But it was not fun today. I think fish tanks are pretty freakin fun and if Im going to a small town private fish store that should also be fun. Today was worst service and customer care than I would’ve received from the worlds largest corporation.

Great shop, today was the first time visiting the aquarium store and though I got there 10 minutes before closing, they did not make me feel I had to rush and seemed that they would allow me to browse even after hours if need be. There was a few species of fishes over there you don't commonly see at other places. I ended up purchasing a fish I never knew existed, I think was called a Polar Iced Convict. Definitely looking forward to my next visit to 7 Seas Tropical Fish and would be a fish store I will be recommending to my peer fish enthusiasts. Thank You...7 Seas!

a very nice store that's well supplied of a large variety of fish that are healthy and plants that are healthy, they also have a lot of supplies, food and all the additives that you need. They have a very good Supply frozen food as well as dry. They have a lot of Tanks and everything you need for setup. Extremely nice friendly and very helpful. I go there, when I need anysupplies for my tank. Anything for my filtration system also. they're very good help me figure out what you need to get it cleaned up. And like I said they're very nice friendly knowledgeable.

This store is so cool my son was fascinated by the large selection and variety of cool fish. The staff was so amazing and patient with his questions. They have such a large selection of fish, tanks and supplies that you will be able to find anything your looking for in this store.

Been here twice now. Today was Feb 17th, 2020. I think they were doing a big sale for the holiday weekend. From the moment we pulled up, there were employees and customers everywhere. Fish tanks outside for a sidewalk sale. Everything was 25% off. Free t shirt and raffle entry for $ gift certificate with every purchase.It's great when you find a family run store doing the right thing by giving back to the customer and creating a buzz in the community.Great selection of fresh and saltwater fish and hybrid varieties including a whole separate half of the building that holds the biggest selection of tanks, stands, lights, rocks, wood and decor that I've ever seen.Truthful, honest ,family run and reasonably priced. Forget Petco and give 7 Seas a visit. You won't be disappointed.

I went there for my first time to get some new fish for my new tank, it look nice clean and had lots of fish. I think the prices were way to high.... #2 small one inch fresh water cichlids for $80.00. I couldn't believe it. I didn't see nothing less than $15.00 and all the fishes were very pricy. They say they have the best top quality but the way they talk to you is almost like a car dealer.
