CASH ONLY 🙂Their customer service is top tier and everyone is very nice. I called and asked about their dog food and what pricing looks like and he gave me all the information I needed. They offer a great variety of dog food and treats. They even have scoops of dog kibble being sold per pound. Their prices for large big bags of dog food is a great price considering I have three dogs of my own. This definitely fit my budget and lifestyle needs for my dogs. And one of the employees helped me to my car with the large bag of dog food, I am very grateful. I will be coming back monthly to pick up more dog food. Thank you again El Granero feed & pet supplies for an amazing customer service experience.

Best prices, conveniently located and they speak English and Spanish!! Been going here for years for my chicken and rabbit feed. I’ve also purchased animals from them (chicks and a rabbit) as well as had them incubate my fertilized chicken eggs. The ONLY thing that was a downfall for me is that they did not (unsure if they still don’t) sell live mice only rats so I had to go elsewhere to feed my snake but other then that I would recommend this place to anyone. They even have a great selection of reptiles now. MUST check out if you’re in the area, the guys that work there are very helpful and courteous 😊😊

Animal cages and reptile cases were clean, and the animals looked to be in good health. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and pricing was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place, and will be a return customer.

Sertified happy buy by iguana man i bought this huge bird cage for 50 dollars for my iguana feewww i was about to buy at petsmart a glass cage that would onlu last him 5 months im so happy and also a random fly came by do know we are viben yeees king btw i dont know if they were giving me a discount because one of those hides and it costed 22 dallors and i got it for 11 dollars and if they did thisbon purposes yall guy are the best

My go to place for bird food and supplies as well as rabbit food. Love that you can buy food in bulk. If tight on money you can just get a scoop for now. Also love being able to buy alfalfa and straw hat by the flake and they don't charge you some stupid amount, unlike the feed store in El Sob.

This is where we prefer to purchase our dogfood (Victor Hi-Pro Plus & Diamond Large Breed Puppy - every month), for about a year now.We do have a feed store in our town of El Sobrante (Appian Way); BUT I prefer El Granero Feed, because their prices are relatively competitive, but "mainly" I can physically walk in, interact w/ the 'vocal loco' birds and test out my whistling skills, checkout their various types of products (and feed), where they have all sorts of dogfood from sampling a cup full to 40+ pound bags in bulk; to where I can custom and create my own wild bird (squirrel?) seed mix, to include more sunflowers to the really little brownish seeds for our native finches; while enjoy listening to some Español Musica.El Granero also has various chicken feed (like the wild bird seed) stored "fresh" in about 30+, 5-gallon white-colored buckets, w/ serving scoops and a weighing machine (seed cost per pound; prices vary); to oatmeal flakes, whole kettal corns, alive crickets, dried worms, horse products, various rawhide bones, pig ears, nose, feet, dog treats, wide range of dogfood, to readily available alfalfa.They even sell little baby chickens, to the 'vocal loco' birds that will whistle back at you.Overall, the Customer Service is welcoming, friendly (the staff makes it a habit to say, "hello" everytime I have entered the store), where they are informative with their products, give good sound suggestions (where I needed a dogfood to add weight onto our very active dogs), where they offer and help carry out feed for the customers, to being able to speak both English and Spanish fluently.*The only issue w/ this Feed Store is the Parking Lot - where you initially enter, suddenly drive up a short, but steep driveway from that of Church Lane, where there are only 4 parking spaces (to the Left) to choose from; so, (low vehicles FORWARN), I tend to scrape my Honda when I enter this parking lot; however there are additional parking spaces to the Right, and one can enter (w/out scrapping from San Pablo Avenue.)Besides the adventurous, funky entry and parking lot inconveniences (not their fault), and for being a small feed store, they pack a big punch; which this El Granero Feed Store is worth seeing and whistling for yourself.Plus, one of our Favorite 'East Bay Eats' are located directly across the street: La Strada Italian Restaurant - and how we originally located El Granero.

They have a wide selection of feed and a few animals in store but the way the animals are kept is what makes me give this store 2 stars... they obviously need someone a lil more knowledgeable on the care of the animals especially their Tarantula selection... the store owner couldn't even tell me what he had for sale or anything about the tarantulas for that matter best I got was "uuuumm I think this one is called ..." not the responce you're looking for when buying a tarantula. Other than that the staff trys to help where they can but don't know much of anything really if you know what you're looking for and can sort thru the store shelves on your own then you're good here if you're looking for advice or help with anything this is definitely not the store for you.

Not good service. Told me that my dog only needed one more shot. But then went to another clinic and they told me that I actually needed two more. It seems that the guy that gives the shots is never there they told me that he actually doesn’t even have a schedule.

They provide a wide variety of animal food for a great price , however the condition in which the animals are kept in isn't that great . There are too many animals in cages that are far too small . The lighting used on the reptiles isn't recommended and i never see fresh food for them . The geckos and bearded dragons don't recieve proper care and the workers don't seem to be educated or care enough .
