This place is great! The staff are friendly and their training regiment works! Highly recommend.

The staff here will turn their back on you without a thought. Loyalty is not a quality they possess. Mary took property of mine and threw it away and was shady about it. I will never recommend this organization to anyone. I can train my own dog tank u very much. My bad for even giving them a splat of trust.Furthermore the contraband which they speak of was legal medicinal marajuana and a water pipe which was totally legal. Also, I did show up to rehab and they lied to me so I didn’t go. Don’t listen to their lies!!! And furthermore, the hotel room was not trashed, it had my belongings in it. Don’t listen to their lies.

We're in the early stages of training with our second dog at OFP and we couldn't be in a better place. Mary and her staff are experienced, knowledgeable and dedicated to helping clients succeed not just while training, but when we take that training out into the world. This isn't just a dog training center, it's a lifeline for many. I highly recommend OFP. The program works.

Operation Freedom Paws is a GREAT organization that does GREAT things. If you are in need of a service dog for medical needs, this is the place. If you just need dog training for your pet, OFP can help you there as well. OFP also offers dog boarding. The staff at OFP are highly qualified and experienced and they really are subject matter experts. I can't say enough good things about this organization.Highly recommend, 10/10

Its really disappointing how I can't give this review negative stars. My dog- a absolute fluffy sweetheart was rejected from the boarding services after they insisted on training beforehand which we completed and after his trainer repeatedly assured the organization owners that he was fine, they still did not agree to board him. The best part about our experience was the reason he was rejected- his hair was standing up. My naturally poofy dog's hair was standing up...

Absolutely horrible service. I spent hundreds of dollars at this facility getting my dog trained by these “Experts” just to label him as an aggressive dog since he was anxious while we were about to board him. He never bit or even lunged at anyone- wouldn’t even hurt a fly- yet since he barked for me to come back like every dog does, he was considered aggressive. My boy had even calmed down within a few seconds and was behaving friendly with his trainer but just cause he barked a bit he was labelled as something he absolutely is not. Don’t even consider this place because you will be sorely disappointed.

I promise this place is set up for nothing but disappointment. I should have listened to my friends when they warned me that this was not a dog friendly place but I expected them to be welcoming to my playful puppy- I was wrong. I’ve heard stories about them turning people away just because their dogs bark occasionally but experiencing first hand was quite the shock.

Interesting place, nice staff, but brochures are a bit misleading. They prioritize veterans which is wonderful. My utmost respect to those who have served. Unfortunately, disabled Americans aren't as equal priority, but there nonprofit is advertised for disabled veterans and Americans alike or at least this is how I have interpreted it.

Freedom paws took my dads (a Vietnam Vet who served from 1968-1970, also is 100% disabled),dog Reeces away, knowing my dad had his teeth removed had triple bypass, he had a stroke back in May, reeces wasn't responding to me, she wasn't eating when my dad wasn't around, my family notified freedom paws, we were told that they would take care of reeces until my dad got well, what they did not tell us. Is that they were actually intended to take my dads service dog away and they did. The founder/manager was really nasty and disrespectful about the whole situation. My dad has been in severe distress ever since Operation Freedom Paws aka Indian givers, has taken my dads dog away!! Operation Freedom Paws doesn't deserve government funding!!!

Wonderful organization for service dog and public dog training. Caring staff that take dog training seriously. Well-rounded training for dogs and dog owners. Trainees are broken down into groups according to level of training. At the end of physical training they provide a sit-down session of tips and information on dog handling, dog behavior, and answer questions anyone may have. Finally, they do “puppy yoga” where you relax and bond with your dog before departing. They have a therapist at training sessions that is available for anyone’s needs and also walks you through the Puppy Yoga session. I would highly recommend them for general dog training and service dog training.

We have both our dogs in their fall training program. The classes are taught by veterans who have great experience to pass on. For this first series of classes that we have taken, the training has been focused on leash work where we work with the dogs while walking. It's a nice balance to what we have been taught in other programs and has strengthened our walks with the dogs.

I am a proactive person. I’ve heard wonderful things about their dog boarding, however, I came in June/July to check out the facility and get paper work for my three fur-babies needing boarding in October of this year. I was told at the time that my babies would need to be up to date on rabies & kennel cough vaccines (only) which they are. I call back at the first of October to have dog evaluations and to confirm stay. At that time I was given a slew of additional vaccines needed, two of which is a course of a four week period. This does not work for we have no time and had to look elsewhere at this incredible short and inconvenience time prior to leaving the country. My frustration is that during my first visit of the facility I was given the wrong information regarding vaccines required. If I had been given the correct information I would not find myself in this situation. So, please ask what vaccines are needed and to make sure that you are given the correct information

Had a terrible experience at another local boarding place once ownership changed, and friends told me to take my dogs here. I am really pleased with the service and the dogs seem to love it. I like their mission too. Overall very happy.

This place is really peaceful and the volunteers completely respect the veterans that come here. Mary and Janet have done an amazing job by keeping this place where veterans can come on by 24/7 and get away from their difficulties.

I have had the opportunity to get out off my cocoon and meet new people in 2015. I was matched with the most handsome, smart k9 (sunny). From day one it was extremely difficult for me to find my ground and push forward. Mary & Janet and rest of staff all picked up on my vibe and every single person made sure they made contact with me making sure I knew I was not alone and to trust my k9. Sure enough after 2 moth of staff getting on me. My sunny and I clicked were we both knew what the other was doing and needed. Godbless everyone in that facility. I even went from taking 9 medications a day down to 6. I owe it all to Operation Freedom Paws.Ray and Sunny... my lammaRay with the gray poodle. Not Rey with the gray poodle.

Most discussing interview I have ever been involved with !! As a 80% disabled Vietam Vet.!! I was treated horribly!! I would not recommend this place for anyone who has PTSD!! I reported there actions to the V.A. I don't support them at all & I don't recommend any Veterans going there for any help or support them in anyway!!!
