We had a 2pm appointment for a bath and grooming. Reagan is a large Golden Retriever. Samantha greeted us when we came in with a smile and a handshake. Reviewed pricing, she set a time parameter for time of service and I left. When I returned he was clean and groomed just as I requested. I mentioned the hair on the floor in the service area she said normally three people would be working, but it was just her for a Saturday. She was not complaining just stating a fact. She was a wonderful groomer, and a fantastic employee for that business. We will be back!

the groomers are friendly. Our Yorkie gets excited every time we pull up. I take that as a good sign as she does not act that way about all places.

brought my pup here for a random bath appointment and the groomer was so sweet. i unfortunately didn’t get name but she was kind, informative, and took very very good care of my pup.will definitely be returning!

Terrible. They took 4 hrs called said he would be ready at 4. They close at 4:30 but online it said 6:30. They texted me they were closed and i had to rush to get my dog..all worried bc i didnt know what was going on with my dog.Said same as usual with drop off and IT WAS NOT!! I have a poodle mix and he came back looking like a terrible terrior. Not coming back. They shaved his ears completely off and he seems unhappy when we got home, not lile usual.Not sure what happened but Sydney's used to be amazing. They opened more locations and this one moved. Felt like they didnt even care about my dog. The girl just wanted to go home. Ill pay more amd go somewhere else..sad when petco or petsmart is 10x better. I want a company that really cares about my dog as much as i do.

This is my 55 lb labradoodle who had a haircut last Wednesday. The groomer nicked him, I was in a hurry getting ready for 4th of July. Didn’t catch it nor was told. Just got home from a business trip and we are taking him to the vet. It’s infected and a massive open legion the size of a golf ball.They didn’t offer to refund or anything. I would never recommend going here. It’s not that they hurt Oliver, it’s that they didn’t tell me, and then wouldn’t make it right. Now I’m going to have a hefty vet bill for this.Maybe Michael Vick would want to bring a dog here, but don’t bring your pet.

We love Sydnee's Pet Grooming! Mary groomed our new Cocker Spaniel puppy and did a great job! She was so sweet with her, this was her first fur cut appointment! Thank you Mary and the whole team for always being so wonderful to our dogs.

We've had two generations of pups we've taken into Sydnee's (starting back when Sydnee actually worked there!), and from puppy to senior they've treated our dogs like family! They take the best care of our senior pups as gentle and caring as we would be

They do a nice job, but customer service is not great. I left 2 messages regarding my concern about the grooming on my dog and I never heard from them. I'm sad to sever the relationship, since I've been going there for years, but i can't give my business to someone who ignores my calls.

These are dog people! They were very thoughtful with my then foster pup, now foster fail, who came out squeaky clean and smiling. I'm grateful that Sydnee's was there for my Victor when I couldn't be. Thank you a million times over for what you do!!

My experience at Sydnee's pet grooming was extremely positive – the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The grooming of my dog was just as I had wanted and, considering she has skin sensitivity, they treated her very gently. I saved five dollars by paying cash which was AMAZING! I made a next appointment & would recommend to others.

We had been going to Sydnee's in San Marcos for years and have always been happy with their services. But this last visit I was informed that there would be a $2 service charge if I used my credit card. When I booked the appointment, no one said anything about it. When I dropped my dog off earlier that day, no one said anything about it. It was when I picked up my dog and had to pay, that's when it was sprung on me. I was told there was a new owner who wanted to encourage people to pay cash so they put in the $2 fee. How many people walk around with cash anymore? So I was stuck having to use my card and pay this fee (which by the way was much more than the fees you have to pay your bank for accepting credit cards), I felt like I was being taken advantage of - which is why I will never return to this store. New Owner: get a clue, you can't just screw folks like this. At the very least, give them PLENTY of warning that you want to start assessing more costs, you should have trained your staff that when they take an appointment, mention the new credit card fee. When they come to drop off their dog, mention the new credit card fee.. Too bad, I really enjoyed the way the team there groomed our dog, but I cannot accept this kind of business practice from an owner. Bye.

One star because I had the WORST experience here. While my toddler son and I were waiting for our dog at checkout, he saw her through the window and was SO excited yelling “Hi baby!! Look at your haircut!!” And the man working at the desk, who was talking with a customer for 20 minutes while my dog was barking because she could see us, looked directly at my 3 year old and said “HEY, can you just be QUIET for a minute?!” in the RUDEST way with so much attitude I was actually blown away. If I talked to a customer like that at my work I would be fired. The looks of annoyance he gave us while we were forced to wait to pick up our dog made me so uncomfortable. most people understand that you don’t treat an excited 3 year old like that but clearly not here. I can only imagine how he treats the dogs. Won’t ever be back

Have been going there with our little rescue for a couple years. Have always had such good care until today. Her regular groomer was no longer there and she had someone else. The full service done for her I could have done. I called to tell them to please tell the groomer we were very unhappy. The person answering the phone said she really didn’t want to do that. I asked her to please do it because I just wanted her to know we were unhappy and not leave negative feedback. Will not be returning !!

I will never go anywhere else! My 15 year old dog was treated like a queen. Gentle, loving, professional, experts only available here! When I went to pick up my friend, she was sitting on the floor, not on a cage, sleeping like a baby. She had no trauma like at the other groomers I’ve been to here and when I lived on the east coast because they are the best at Sydnee’s! My baby passed and now I take my new Briard here. Thank you for your amazing work!

I've taken my dogs to grooming places in small shops and big box stores. I am so happy to have found this place. The groomer Rebecca does a fantastic job for a competitive and fair price. It is hands down the best cut I've seen on my dog. I will definitely be bringing all two of my dogs back here for future grooming.

I’ve been taking my dog here for about 2 years now and today marks the day that they lost my business. Do not believe what they say, walk in’s are not welcome here. Someone should really police these guys, advertising to attract walk in business is great unless you can’t handle the foot traffic.I suggest going to pet smart or pet coach for all your pet grooming and styling needs.I will not be taking my dog back to this business. Please think twice before making the drive here, if these people can’t be trusted to follow their own rules to allow walk ins, what more do you think they do to our beloved animals when they get there. Don’t trust their fake smiles.

Sydnee’s is the only place our dog wags her tail in excitement when entering for a bath. We’ve used this place for years now after trying a few other places around San Marcos. The employees are always happy to see our dog Hurley. They always do a great job cutting Hurley’s hair which is not easy given she is a goldendoodle. I would recommend Sydnee’s to anyone.

Sydnee's recently changed ownership & after taking our dogs there for years, I will not be returning. They now charge if you use a debit or credit card. We were informed of the new cash policy when we picked up our 2 dogs, not before the grooming. If you pay cash, they give you a $5 discount. Our bill was over $100 & we didn't have that amount of cash with us. So having to use a debit card, not only did we not get a $5 discount & had to pay full price, we were charged an additional $2 fee to use the debit card. A $7 penalty to use your card, that's outrageous!

My go to place to get the pup a haircut. They are very nice and dependable. The pup always looks great. They do a wonderful job giving his face the shape I like. I live how they blend his cheeks into his ear hair, it shows an attention to detail.

I brought my two dogs to Syndee’s on Monday, February 17th for grooming. I received a call about two hours after I dropped them off that Benny’s grooming was complete, but that Weasie had had an accident. It was not clear what had happened, but I was told they had brought her to the vet’s office in that same strip mall. I got a call a few minutes later that they had brought Weasie back to Sydnee’s. I immediately drove to Sydnee’s. When I arrived, they unhooked Weasie from a leash on the wall, brought her out to me, and walked away. My poor dog had what looked like blood-filled balloons protruding from each of her eye sockets. She was dazed. She had clearly had a serious injury to her head.I grabbed someone to ask what had happened to her, and was told that she must have slipped and fallen from a grooming table, and that they wouldn’t know for sure unless they reviewed their camera footage. The manager came out and said something about a probable fall, that they brought her to the vet to be checked out, and that they would cover the cost of the vet (no sh*t you will). The manager didn’t seem concerned at all about the injury, but repeated that they wouldn’t know what happened unless they looked at the camera footage.I then walked down to the vet’s office and learned that Sydnee’s had told them a different story, that Weasie had fallen in a bathtub. They told me that it wasn’t the first time they’d cared for a dog that had fallen at Sydnee’s.When I bring my dogs to a professional groomer, at the VERY LEAST I should be ensured of my dogs’ safety. I can handle a bad haircut, but I WILL NOT accept that my dogs could literally be in danger at the groomer. I will NEVER go back to Sydnee’s and will be sure that all of my dog-owning friends are aware of the extreme CARELESSNESS and HEARTLESSNESS I experienced at Sydnee’s.

They canceled my appointment the day of at 6:45 am, my dogs appointment was at 7:30am. I had the appointment for two weeks, there are other groomers. It’s just ridiculous, only 45 mins before on a Saturday???? I can promise you I wasn’t up happily at 7am. Very upset, bad service.

Travis has groomed our two Shih Tzus for years. Other Sydnee employees have also always done a beautiful grooming, and we are pleased with their work, our two girls (doggies) come home happy.

I've taken my Newfie there for the last few months. He gets groomed by Travis. I ask every time I take him in not to trim his nails because he ways cuts them too short. His nails grow really slowly so he doesn't need them trimmed every month. Well Travis trims them anyway and then my dog bleeds. This time they were so bad that whenever he walks on ground that isn't soft, he bleeds and cries because it hurts. He already has trouble walking because of his hip dysplasia and he's pretty old. I have given many chances, atleast three, and I am now very upset. They wrote it down that we didn't want his nails trimmed and it's like Travis didn't even look at my dog's card. I will not be going there anymore. I loved the facility at first but I do not anymore.

I have been to this place a couple times with my dog and my dog always gets the care that he needed. The staffs are nice and professional and they communicate with me very well. Whenever I bring my dog in, they would tell me something about grooming and notify me any conditions the dog might have. I am very pleased and would definitely come back again.

Terrible. One of their employees cut one of my dogs eyes with a pair of scissors and didn’t even let me know. He handed her to me without saying a word and then walked away. It wasn’t until I got her in my car that I noticed something was wrong. I took her right home and could tell she was clearly in pain. This employee must have scraped her eyeball when he was cutting her eye lashes, even after I specifically told them not to touch her lashes.When I went back to let the owner know what happened, she accused me of lying. I was fed up at that point and politely asked her to pay the vet bills due to the work her employee did, and she refused.Do not do business with this groomer; clearly they cannot be responsible for the animals in their care.

Thanks to Sydnee's, my dog isn't afraid of going to the groomers anymore. I have a small dog with long hair that sometimes gets matted. They never charge me extra because me dog was difficultnor matted like some other groomers. They're the only groomers I trust with my dog.
