My experience at Calipets has been wonderful! My dog is very nervous when it comes to getting groomed but Jackie has her tricks. I love how she takes care of my fur baby. She is very kind and sweet. She knows exactly what she is doing and may suggest special treatments if needed.

One of my dogs long hair was matted and we thought we’d have to shave it or cut it severely short in areas so I was very distressed. Lori was able to get it out without stressing my dog (or me) and then cut it leaving a beautiful 1 inch coat and happy doggie too. Thank you so much Lori!

Hands down the best groomers in North County! We have tried several other groomers for our doodle and have been left disappointed. Ashley is amazing. She’s friendly, knowledgeable, and does a fantastic job. This salon is efficient, clean, and they clearly love the pups. We won’t go anywhere else from now on.

Terrible customer service. They will take new clients right away, but after a couple of trips, you will find yourself on a 6 week wait list. Don’t bother asking to be placed on a cancellation list. Hard to believe there was no cancellations during the 6 week period. (Probably because they use that for new clients.).Don’t bother calling the owner,…because she didn’t call me back after 3 attempts. I EVEN SAID during the 3rd call that I’d rather speak w the owner rather than write a yelp review.The actual pet grooming is below par, in my opinion. Always cut too short,, long visits, (4 hours) and pick up time is always delayed). Will not return. Our pets deserve the best .

Love bringing my dog here to see Kellen. He is the best and always keeps our pup in tip top shape! Honestly, he is the only reason we keep coming back.Scheduling appointments can be a nightmare, especially if you try to book online. The only time things seem to be booked right is if I book when I'm at the salon. Appointments have been changed to different types (wash vs haircut) and different groomers than what I requested. Never received a message or call things had been changed. I don't mind changing dates, times, etc I just want to be notified when that happens.

My poodle mix hates grooming. I’ve taken her to several groomers and first of all she didn’t look good when done and my fur baby would shake when I picked her up. One groomer said she tried to bite her. I finally was able to get into Cali Pets which was a referral. I am so grateful to Kellen as my baby looks awesome when I pick her up and she no longer shakes. Thank you Kellen for being patient and gentle with Lilyrose. So so grateful.

I took my golden doodle here for the first time. Our other groomer was closed and not accepting appointments so I was nervous to try a new place. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and they do offer online booking as well which is nice. It has been awhile since I was able to get into a groomer so the groomer recommended a different cut than what I usually get our goldendoodle. We love the cut and felt that they took great care of him.

We have been here a handful of times and though the dog grooming services are fine, the interactions with the staff is the reason for this 2 star review.Twice our appointments have been cancelled by the salon after waiting for weeks. Non-apologetically, they leave messages and did not try to reschedule their cancellations.After re-booking an appointment we mistakingly booked a “mini” thinking that was for the dog breed instead of it being only a face trim service.Upon our arrival we were confused, and instead of trying to accommodate our mistake, since it would not have happened if the due diligence of rescheduling was done by the staff after cancelling our appointment, they simply stated “well, we don’t have time today”.As historically repeat customers with several dogs, this is the last time we will be going here.

We've tried several pet grooming salons over the years and Cali Pets has really delivered. Tracy is phenomenal, and all the other groomers are wonderful. We've been going there for 9 months now since our two Bichon's were old enough to be groomed. Tracy not only does a great job, she and the other groomers take the time to socialize with your pet and make them feel comfortable. They never rush and always deliver a terrific result. Our boys Reno and Cooper wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Keep up the good work Tracy and Co.

We can’t say enough after our labradoodle’s first groom with Tracy!! WOW! Our dog looks better than she has looked in a very long time. She looks absolutely adorable and about five years younger. Tracy took the time to speak with us when we arrived to discuss her cut. We couldn’t ask for better results, Tracy is a true dog lover! We are so pleased!HIGHLY recommend Cali Pets!!!

Many times these reviews can be done by a friend, employee or relative. My experience with this grooming business is truly from a real customer. I am sad to say my experience has not been good. I believe that Tracy may be skilled and may love what she does but her business is not managed very well. I say that for these reasons. After making appointments they are either cancelled or often changed. I have seen groomers handle their clients dogs rough at times. Disturbing. So it depends on who the groomer is you choose. Tracy as the owner should be interested in the care of her clients Pets while in her shop and in the care of her groomers.. Recently I have picked up my dog to find her hair uneven in some areas as much as 2 inches. After noticing this in the parking lot I asked Natalie the receptionist to call me with an appointment to get our dog back in for corrections. She said she would call me once she got back the same day. That never happened. I called her 2 days later asking for an appointment for haircut correction and emailed over photos to which the email I was given came back undelivered. I called several times afterwards leaving messages. Being patient over 2 weeks until I called again and got Natalie on the phone who said can you resend photos and we needed to know about any haircut issues within 24 hours after the service. I reminded her of our original conversation we had in the parking lot as she was bringing out our dog regarding our dog's cut was uneven and I asked for the email verification. Natalie seemed very stressed and not quite understanding what to do. I asked to speak to the owner Tracy who once on the phone was very rude. I was shocked, I had been waiting to get our dog's hair fixed for 2 weeks. I thought as an owner she would want to listen to her customer and get the facts to improve her Business. She didn't care. I will not be back and will not refer any of my friends, clients, or neighbors any longer to this shop. I gave them plenty of time to resolve the issue. I am sad to say this was a horrible experience.

Fast & friendly service! Even though we were only there for nail clippings, after just the first visit, they noticed & helped with my Jazzy’s SKIN issues and needs. I can’t wait for a time when they’re fully open for self service dog washes! They’ve made a loyal customer out of me after only 2 visits!

I have a bunny and she is very social and easy to groom, in fact she loves her spa days. Being here from Phoenix has left me without a groomer, Nora came to our rescue my rabbit came out looking perfet!! Trimmed correctly, washed, brushed and blow dried. Cant say enough nice things about this shop and my experience.

Followed our groomer-Jessica here when she started in Feb.. Now practicing physical distancing, wearing disp gowns, gloves, masks, face shields. They take my 2 dogs out of car, let me know when they are 30 minutes from done & I call when I am in parking lot. Bring back to car & I pay. Easy to do & the kids still know it is her.

Our samoyed looks great, and more importantly, seemed to be in a good mood when i picked her up. Seemed like she enjoyed her outing.Will definitely use these groomers again.
