The third photo with no rainbow connection is NOT a tofu scramble. Come on WF, been to other locations and at times done correctly. Thought one standard recipe was nationwide. Where is the tumeric or how about the kala namak? The bright yellows with colors is how it need to be, if only for presentation purposes.

NICE TIDY STORE ! My wife and I checked into our Airbnb house with an amazing ocean view in Cambria late on Wednesday. This would be home for the next week so we needed some supplies and somewhere to charge up our Tesla...nothing in Cambria. So we drove to San Luis Obispo on Thursday afternoon. THE PLAN ! Buy a bunch of stuff at Whole Foods Market, charge up the car at the Tesla Supercharging Station behind Target and then hit the Downtown SLO Farmer's Market at 6pm. We arrived here just before 5pm...it was freezing and very windy outside. I headed to BOOZE ALLEY to grab a few packs of beer to last me a week. NOT MUCH ! They had a pretty good wine selection but a rather small refrigerated beer choice. I picked out ones I knew...1 x 4 pack of Brouwerij West "Picnic Lightning" Hazy IPA ( one of my favs ) 1 x 4 pack of La Chouffe "Blonde" Belgian Blond Ale ( one of the best ) and 1 x 4 pack of Brewery Ommegang Belgian-Style Blonde Ale ( darn good beer ). Meanwhile my wife grabbed a couple of mangoes, a papaya, half doz eggs and a large Crystal Geyser Natural Alpine Spring Water ( for our Gaggia espresso machine we brought with us ). We also picked up a large Lactaid 2% reduced fat milk, 2 house made Lobster Cakes from the deli and a large fresh squeezed orange juice. That was about it. Nice friendly service at the checkout !

Nice well kept store little pricer than most other stores but you get what you pay for. Their pizzas that you can have them make you are actually very large and tasty and those seem to be very good priced I think an Large two topping pizza is $17. They also have soup like chicken noodle that you can get that is already heated up to go and that is very tasty as well. Staff is friendly and helpful.

High quality foods albeit a little pricey. We did find some good value for fresh figs and pizza!

A dear old friend gave me a $50 Whole Foods gift card for my birthday on March 18 (the same day as our only non-consecutive two term President, Grover Cleveland. Let's hope that doesn't happen again anytime soon!). I hadn't been in a while but knew that they had good quality organics. The visit went about as expected. Lots of selection. They have this 🆕 Whole Foods brand called "365". So those products are only moderately high priced instead of sky high. Which brings me to prices. If their prices were more in line with other stores they'd get 5 ⭐. But you can expect to pay 20-25% more at Whole Foods for virtual everything. They do have sales on some items and if you're an Amazon Prime member you'll get an extra 10% off. And if you have an Amazon/Whole Foods 💳 card you'll earn 5% cash back on your purchase. So on the day I went I thought I'd "splurge" since I had an extra $50 to spend. Still ended up spending almost $130❕So basically if you're on any sort of budget I'd avoid. I will say the service and friendliness of staff have always been top notch!

Alway enjoy shopping at WF and taking advantage of their Friday $1 oyster offer. But at this store, they only honor that price for full dozens of the same oyster, can't mix and match. Seems kind of petty and takes all the fun out of oyster shopping.

Went for the Monday night buffet. The Naan was good, of course. The staff was very friendly and nice. The buffet items were satisfactory but nothing great. Don't bother with the pudding desert. I doubt I will go back, but my friend said he would.

"The only certified organic grocery store in San Luis Obispo" according to whole foods. If your into the organic foods, than this is your shopping food center. As a person who's never seen organic fruits or vegetables in person. It was an interesting and revealing experience. The quality and standards was high!

The location of this Whole Foods Market is convenient, especially if you want to do additional shopping at either Costco or Home Depot, both of which are very close. Across the street is Target so there is a large shopping selection in a relatively small area. This Whole Foods is not significantly different than the others you may have visited although it is quite spacious compared with Whole Foods in larger markets such as Boston, New York, and Chicago. The reason the store gets four stars is because of the exorbitant prices. Even though the selection is generally good and the products are of moderate to high quality, the prices are significantly higher then almost any other grocery.

I recently moved here from Austin, TX. (The Whole Foods capital of the world. Literally. The company started there, and there are dozens of locations in the central Texas area.) I have always enjoyed the convenience of shopping curbside, and in some situations as a person living with disabilities, it's a matter of safety and necessity.Today, while picking up a Thanksgiving meal order, I was treated with confusion and disrespect by both the store manager (Keema? I think she said her name was over the phone) and then some other male employee who came to bring me my order begrudgingly. He was incredibly rude and disrespectful while delivering my order, proceeding to "educate" me about how they don't offer curbside service for meal prep orders and then rudely demanding I tell him who told me it was ok so they could "retrain"them. This despite a different person the day before was very polite and told me all I need to do is call when I arrive. I didn't catch that person's name who was quite respectful and accommodating, but take notes THAT is actually GOOD customer service. So perhaps it's SHE who should be training YOU lot.I am writing this so that A) you know that the ADA would probably be very interested to know how this Whole Foods location treats people living with disabilities, and B) to let you know that Whole Foods headquarters will be hearing about the situation with many other details I will be happy to provide them. I'm not sure what planet these workers at Whole Foods live on, but treating people so disrespectfully is not just unacceptable, it's also illegal. In this instance, they did "make the exception" but I'm willing to bet many others in the SLO area are disabled, and would similarly need such accommodations. Are you really going to go all in on "not providing exceptions" your disabled customers, many of whom probably spend thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars annually with your company. We'll be happy to take our business elsewhere, if necessary. For the record, I have shopped at WF for 18 years and never been treated this way. I have to imagine it's this location that is the issue.

Buffet was worth it and fair prices for the all you can eat buffet ... Or serve up in a box or what not. Quiche amazing, home fries and scrambled eggs Denver style amazing, biscuits and gravy was even really good and I ate there literally at lAlmost lunch time so that tells you they must keep up on and actually do the proper rotating of the food... Especially if biscuits were as soft as can be at almost lunch time! Also I had a hot white chocolate mocha... If you like sweet ask for more sweetness because my coffee even with three extra pumps of white chocolate was way too bitter for my liking and was kinda hard to stomach it had been so strong... But if you like it strong go get coffee at this place ! 3 people ate for under $40 too. So it was a great price conscious choice as well.

I am writing to you to express our sincere appreciation of several Whole Food employees working at your store. While we have been treated extremely well by all the employees at your store, there are three employees we have interacted with over the years and they have made our shopping experience at Whole Foods very pleasant. We do not know the employees last names but know them as:Lara – Cashier DepartmentJohn – Cashier DepartmentJulie – Meat / Butcher DepartmentEach of these employees always acts in a professional manner, are likeable and knowledgeable, and present a level of thoughtfulness that really speaks to the type of person they are at heart. It is refreshing and enjoyable to see and interact with them. When we shop, usually on a Wednesday, we make a point of it to line up in their respective queues as we thoroughly enjoy seeing and speaking with them.We hope you can convey to them our appreciation and thank them on our behalf.

Actually one of my business competitors; However, I always find the people that work there to be professional and positive and I just believe they need to hear that from time to time. :-)

I often shop at Whole Foods. My complaint today was I wanted to purchase several favorite prepared foods for my family arriving tomorrow. There was one person in that area, and she was busy putting together a "to-go" order. I waited in front of the glass case, and she never turned to see if customers were waiting. Another staff member was in the pizza area, working in front of the case near her. We made eye contact, but he did not tell the woman.I walked around the store and returned. She was still working on the order. I stood close by, and still, she never glanced around, nor did the other staffer say anything.I could have said, "Hey, I need help!" But the guy near me knew that.I gave up, and as I was leaving, I told a friendly cashier what had happened.Note to store manager: Teach the staff to look around occasionally for waiting customers. If they are busy, they can say, "Hi. I'll be with you in a moment." Then the customer feels acknowledged instead of ignored. And that customer will be much more patient than I was.I understand that staffing is a problem for all retail businesses these days. I am a business owner myself.

Love this store so much but the service deli really needs to step up their game. I always want to order smoothies but the drink counter girl NEVER smiles and our deli sandwiches weren't even close to what we ordered.

Good place to return Amazon packages and get good foods. It was better when it was Frontiers for the self-serve foods and variety, but still a really great place to get decent healthy food. But don't think that everything they sell is good for you as they still have a lot of processed foods here. The soup bar is pretty amazing though. Great place to grab lunch, and you can sit at the tables outside.

The service at this Whole Foods can be hit or miss, and the hot bar is trash. But I had a great experience with Amber today and wanted to give her some positive strokes. She was kind, mellow, helpful and she put me in a great mood.(But seriously pls god do something about the hot bar. Charging $11.99 per pound for instant rice and overcooked frozen veg is a bummer.)

I ordered a whole cheese pizza for the first time, for $15, that took about 15-20 min to make. Got it home and the entire bottom was burned black. Immediately took it back, and they gave me my money back. But didn't have time to wait around for another pizza. Very inconvenient! Good thing I wasn't heading to a party with it.

I am extrodinary put out by the lack of checkers and the addition of self check stations. Typically I don’t mind a self check station, but the station is too small, clearly designed for minimal purchases. So few checkers and long lines usually drives me to the self check out stations and I have ended up using the counters of adjacent stations just to check out. It’s awful. I would say it’s a choice, but this morning there were no checkers at store only someone overseeing self check out, who said she would help with veggies, but walked off. It’s bad. Consumers pay the price in dollars and in poor customer service. I will avoid WF at all costs going forward.

Whole Foods is not so whole - they’re bakery items are full of ingredients I don’t recognize and have margarine instead of butter and use high fructose corn syrup and all kinds of seed oils. Just mass produced heart attack food. Having said that the baked goods tasted yummy.

I really don't like their espresso. And some of the hot food is a miss. Overall it's a clean store. Usually pretty busy. Not the biggest whole foods, but has pretty much everything. Still too pricey. Nice staff.

Called Bakery this morning to ask if they were making Chantilly Cakes for the day. I was told they weren't going to be out until the following week. Super unfortunate and was given no explanation as to why the cakes weren't going to be made. Whole foods let me down this time but otherwise I love the store, maybe just not this location.
