I expected this store to be small and have a little of this and a little of that and be in the pricey side because its in SLO but I was way off. This store is big and has a lot of this and even more of that! The prices were very reasonable and the selection is unreal! Very organized and considering the thousands of items on display its layed out in such a way that you do not become overwhelmed. My daughter wanted to get a few fidget toys and this place had some we haven't even heard of yet. We could have easily spent an entire day here! ❤

This place has it all… seriously - such a littlegem in slo! Maileg, Sarah’s Silks, Schleich, Land of Dough. omg, the list goes on.So many brands i usually have to buy online & pay for shipping but now can pick up for FREE after a Trader Joe’s trip ( it’s literally next door)Anyways, the owner is the sweetest lady and for my daughters 1st birthday today she gave her a really special gift and my daughter absolutely loved it( not going to lie, I had fun playing with it as well)I double dog dare you to walk into the store and not leave with a cart filled of the coolest toys your kiddos are going to keep going back to time after time.

We have been going to Whiz Kids for 17 years. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. You can simply tell them the age of the child and any details you have and they can magically point you in the direction of the perfect toy. They’re like toy whisperers. Even better, they gift wrap and will send you out the door party ready. Aside from the friendly staff, great selection, reasonable prices and gift wrap, the store is incredibly clean and well laid out. Did I mention they ship as well. Go to Whiz Kids, you won’t be disappointed!

The staff are all wonderful and friendly. They have a great selection of unique toys and books. They have a great selection of wooden toys as well. I went in with my toddler who found a toy seagull (her favorite animal) and the staff let me know it was made out of recycled material. I was curious about this company and while looking into it I found the price I was charged was lower at Whiz kids than Amazon.The staff where also nice enough to suggest places to find toys in other languages.With my daughters birthday coming up I’ll most likely be back

This store is run by the most creative and caring team! They do amazing events throughout the year including art contests, lego contests, pokemon trading, bubble event, monster hunts. They are so generous with their prizes and encourage kids to have fun and be creative. The selection in the store is great. They will help your kids put together a wish list making shopping easy and even do a great job wrapping!

I love this store for the kids and the kids in all of us. There are so many cool education toys, science projects, build able kits and fun for the whole family👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👩‍👧‍👦If you're not sure what to get then buy a gift certificate and let the kids shop.theyre local folks too and have been there for many years.

Great selection of thinking and interactive toys, games, and knick knacks! Definitely a good place to get something special and unique for an active child. Great books and younger age toys too. Hard to find even though it's also kind of out in the open. Little bit small also, but worth the visit.
