I usually buy my dog food here, but I decide to buy my dog a Kong rubber donut chew toy, he chewed through it within a day, that’s not what the low review is about, it’s about calling to see what the return policy is and if I can return without a receipt, as I had misplaced it, and would have accepted a no, as it’s common, but might as well ask. And the guy who answered the phone was very condescending and interrogative before he just finally said “yea I guess you can return it if you are a member” like thanks, could’ve avoided all the back and forth trying to pry information out of you. Make your job easy and just give people the answer they’re looking for, I actually felt the need to apologize to him after asking him to do his job. And the kicker, no thank you, no bye, just answer and hang up the phone. I like this store but some of the workers do not seem like they even want to be there.

I was greeted when I walked in. Associate was very friendly, let me know if I needed something he was there to help. Very nice store layout. COOL STUFF!!! I’m going back.

My complaint is not about the product but the way It was treated beforehand and the way my feedback was handled. The Woodlink copper 6 port bird feeder I received came to me damaged in a way that I could not clip the top securely. My guess was that the cage/lid was damaged upon transit. I contacted Tractor Supply but got no response. I wrote this review online and they deleted it so it would not show on their company website. That being said, the feeder is working great despite the wonky lid. Racoons haven't messed with it yet and the Goldfinchs love it!

They had a handheld cashier machine. So I was able to purchase large panels in the parking lot and drive my truck and trailer in. They helped us load. They followed us around the store and put all of our extra items in the back of the truck. And we checked out in the parking lot.Fun actually!

It's Tractor Supply Co, who doesn't love this place. You walk in for one thing and walk out with a bunch of stuff.Update: Bought some beautiful healthy chicks 3 weeks ago and they are thriving and doing great.

Ordered chicks online, 4 of 10 arrived dead. There was no heat pad or gro gel, nothing. Figure it's a miracle any survived.No answer to emails. So I would not purchase again.

I've been IN there at least 5 times looking for things I've needed. I've walked out empty handed every time. I had to go to HD, or Ace to find what I needed.Only once did I buy something online from tractor supply and picked it up curbside.I'd recommend to look online to see if they have what you need BEFORE making the trip.

It's a basic farm and home supply store. Have pretty much anything you would come here for. The employees working the floor are very helpful. Obviously a new store and some growing pains are happening. I came to the store to purchase a toolbox. The toolbox on the shelf the entire back of it was carved in. They went to find another one. There were no more but was told there was a used one in the back lot I could look at. We went to the back lot and the used one was a different color. Come to find out they had the boxes tagged incorrectly on the shelf. So they tried to locate the correct part number with no luck. There was a great deal of confusion with the manager who disappeared when I asked if they could sell the dented one for a cheaper price. My box was broken into and I needed to replace it that day and couldn't wait to have one shipped. We ended up leaving and traveling an hour away to another TSC to purchase the box. I will be back to shop there again. Just hope for less confusion next time.

Great place to find ranch items and pet supplies. You'll find tools and tool boxes to clothing and seasonal items.Lots of parking and on leash pet friendly.

I love this place! It has great prices on bird food and it has tons of bird feeders. If you are a suet cake enthusiast this is a good place to go as they have a wide variety of suet cakes including no melt suet cakes. If your not into birds as much as I am and are looking for other things, there are lots of dog stuff and cat stuff. There is food for farm animals. There are tools and clothes and other things I can't name off the top of my head.

The experience was great, the money I spent hurt but was expected. The service in the future regarding my purchase and/or how they deal with the warranty if needed will determine the total rating at that time. For now though they get 5 stars.

Extremely helpful, kind, courteous, and friendly staff. Clean and easy to navigate store. It was my first time ever visiting and I had a very young puppy with me but managed it all thanks to the excellent help.

Called about the avablity of some 1" square tubing nasty person that answered the phone basically told me she was at the register and if l didn't have all the info on the item I called about she wasn't going to help.l wasn't rude or mean l just wanted to know if they had the tubing. So management lm doing this because you need to know and I do like tractor supply a lot hope this helps

I normally go to the store in Paso Robles but since I live between the two I am now going to go to Tractor Supply in San Luis Obispo. I ran into Virginia who did work in Paso Robles. She is one of the nicest people in the store. Kris helped load the car for me and had a great attitude. This is the best store I've had the pleasure to shop at.

Nice to have a tractor Supply in SLO. They have good prices on what they carry, and much of their hard goods inventory is not available elsewhere.Much cheaper on products where a generic is avail. ( like Roundup)Fan belts, hydraulic fluid, and other items are best priced in area.

Good prices but staff is not that knowledge. Good place to shop if you know what you are looking for beforehand. Also they do not deliver which is a major pain so don't buy anything too big unless you can arrange delivery or pick it up.

For some strange reason, after spending about $8,000 there this year , I was asked never to come back on the property or I could be arrested for trespassing. I found this out after spending $60 on a few odds and ends that I needed on the ranch. I was perplexed as what the reason might be. I can have a bit of a hard time walking and standing still due to a very bad accident when I was 17 that should of ended my life . And now being 62 years young I'm pretty crippled up from wear and tear of life . Maybe the workers thought I was mentally handicapped. ( the pain can be pretty bad at times ) or maybe they thought I was to scary looking . I thought I was asked to leave because of one of the 2 friends I was with at the time while shopping that evening did something to get us booted out of the place .when they told me they couldn't go back to the place or on the property because of association with me .I became a bit upset for awhile. It's been 10 or 12 days now and I still don't know what happened that evening and I believe I should let people know that want to shop there,they may be next. Good luck if you choose to shop there.I will be shopping at farm supply from this day forward .

The San Luis store is completely different from the Paso store when it comes to friendlyness ! Lots of opportunities await ! Love the message board!! They will actually help you promote your business!! Though their Country fair yard sales they sponsor in their parking lot! They really try to connect with their customers at the corporate level. Love to see them at the Tulare Farm show!!

Took forever to get help. When we did,the boy said there's a 25.00 fee for putting the grill together.. and it would be a week.then proceeded to suggested a different kind of grill that wasn't even sold there it was sold at costcos.

Balance of hardware and feed. Great service level - helpful when needed, but not pushy. The space is well organized without the clutter that has become so common elsewhere.
