Sad !! walking around the store to get kids clothes, I see a ton of graphics Tee-shirts, but where are the the regular marvel cherecters ? Ok so if I want marvel then I am stuck with a B and C cast of characters like shown in pictures. Ok so definitely not these panthers and othe inner city line-up rejects. Oh wow is that a Spiderman ? Nope , another north Korean bootleg version of a classic superhero. What happened to the authentic superheros, I guess it's bad to be a white superhero In America. 😕

I love target. I went there for trial sizes for vacation and was not disappointed. They had all kinds of travel sized items!!

Areas of the store looked trashed and they had just opened an hour earlier. Absolutly every table in the Starbucks was dirty. Was there for over an hour and no cleaning was done. Several flies flying around tables landing on food, not pleasant.

Alright, I love Target just as much as the next girl. I'd even call it an enthusiastic dependency. However, the state this particular Target is consistently in is despicable. To say shelves are poorly stocked would be a devastating understatement. Often, a product will be out of stock for weeks on end leaving the shelf empty with no option even to order through the app or website. Shelves and aisles are a complete disaster with product all over the place as if no one ever attends to them or makes even the smallest effort to clean up and reorder anything. This makes shopping here excruciating. I hold Target to a higher standard but I've legit seen thrift shops with neater, better stocked shelves than this pitiful Target. SLO is a nice city. We live in a nice location. However, this particular Target is an anomaly and an insult to the corporate chain. Luckily at least, we have Amazon Prime.

The lady in the baby department guided me to everything I needed for a bayy that's visiting us for a month. Explained what we needed and why. Excelent service, she spent an hour with us.

I went there to pick up an order from ordering online. I showed my barcode and got the order. That was so easy. While there, I looked at reading glasses, but they didn't have a good selection. The women's clothing section was messy.

Great store overall Seems to be under staffed in the last couple of months. Prices have gone up and the number of employees down.I just wanted to add a quick follow up to my review. My next trip into this Target location was a completely different experience. The prices on some things are still a bit elevated but I found that their are also a lot of great deals. In particular, Targets dog found brand Kindfull is my new favorite. Or should I say, our dog "boo's" new favorite. Great price, quality, a huge assortment of flavors and great ingredients to boot. I also noticed that third seemed to be an increase in employees at this location who were all very helpful.

My partner and I got followed by “loss prevention” while browsing this store today, and it was an uncomfortable experience. I get that we were not dressed nicely, at least by SLO standards. You know…hoodies and sweatpants instead of north face jackets. But we aren’t criminals. We just wanted to shop in peace. We spent $300 at the store today. We didn’t steal anything. It was not fun to be profiled, followed, and watched the entire time.

Every time I go to Target I usually have a wonderful time shopping around the store, and looking at the prices it seems like a great deal. Until I get to the checkout lines. First of all, they need to put a limit on the amount of items you can have in self checkout. Second, I cannot believe their kiosks do not take cash, every other retailer everywhere that has self checkout takes cash except for target. That is quite the inconvenience. And third, target, you need to get your pricing straight. If you had an item advertised for $12.99, then you should not try and charge me $22.99 and then offer me a discount but not that deep of a discount. You're a multibillion dollar corporation God forbid $12 comes out of your annual revenue.

Store has a good selection of merchandise for fair prices. Today the cashier that checked me out was super friendly and cheerful. That makes such a difference in my shopping experience. I like the Target concept of a "one stop" shopping store. I love that I can get my groceries while picking up some cleaning items and sporting goods. Super cool!

HATE the new reset/remodel at Target on Los Osos Valley Rd.It is NOT an improvement, the flow is wrong, the product layout in the new sections makes no sense and it is NOT shopper friendly.And where are the products that we've come to rely on Target carrying since FOREVER?The one RELIABLE thing about Target has always been that you could hop in, find EXACTLY what you need owing to its LOGICAL placement in a store section and you could do it in 10 minutes or less.Not anymore.Welcome to the Mouse Maze that is the New TARGET.Ugh.Way to ruin an in person shopping experience.

After a terrible day, i was not in a good mood and had to grab a few last minute things. I was pleasantly surprised that I did not have to wait in line. But the biggest surprise of all was how pleasant the associate was and she made a comment that completely made my day. It is amazing how one kind word can change somebody’s day. I am sad that I did not get her name, but I would hope that it will return to her one day .

I love Target. I can find so much in their stores. The quality and variety is amazing. It's truly a one stop shopping experience. I can grab a rug, silverware and clothing all in one fell swoop. Not multiple stops. Saves me so much valuable time.

The bathrooms at the San Luis Obispo store are so nasty. Customers who were in there, were talking about how disgusting they are. As well as when I was in there an employee was saying that she barely even wanted to use them. I don’t like using public bathrooms, and that experience made me never want to use one at target ever again. Do better for your employees Target. They hardly want to use them, so what makes you think customers are wanting to use them. This statement honestly goes for all Targets, they’re all nasty.

Has been awhile sense I have been in the store but let me say that O was so disappointed at the disarray of isle’s and stuff all over the area. I realize it’s the public these days that are not respectful and throw stuff about like it was their closet! But, it’s not cool to find out that someone might end up buying something that many have stepped on. The staff was working about and courteous and that’s a plus, but it looked like I was in Ross department store. Nasty!

I have never experienced the level of customer care and compassion I received at Target in San Luis Obispo. I have just lost my husband but needed to get a few things for grandkids for Christmas. The team leader in toys helped me find several things and then after knowing my husband had recently died (a week earlier) he sought me out in the store with three other employees to give me flowers and offer condolences. They all offered to finish my shopping if I needed anything else. Then when I went to check out the store manager came up to me and offered her condolences on behalf of target, again offered to help me with anything and gave me a gift card.Such random acts of kindness at a time I needed that so badly.I will always shop at Target!!!!Thank you

The cosmetics associate was incredibly helpful today. I was looking for a specific Clinique lipstick shade, and having no luck. She came by to ask if I needed any help and then, after researching her mobile computer for stock, found just what o needed in the locked supplies cabinet. YAY!!!The Clinique lipstick and eyeliners at this Target beat Macys, Sephora, and Ulta hand over fist! The shades are perfect for me and sooo hard to find!The cosmetic associate helping me today also brought back some nostalgia: She reminded me about the yellow Clinique facial soap bar that all young ladies used back in the day and we all thought it was so special! :)

The cashier I had was absolutely wonderful! He asked me who I was buying all the gift cards for and when I told him that I was the Director of a nonprofit, he thanked me and explained that he was concerned since I was an older person purchasing many cards and he was aware of scam artists that prey on people asking them to purchase gift cards. I was delighted that he was looking out for your customers.

The store was clean and quiet. I only saw one employee without a face mask, and 90% of shoppers were also wearing a face mask. An employee wiped down carts and had them ready for shoppers to grab and go. Most of what was on my list was well stocked; there was only a couple of things I was unable to get. Overall I was exceptionally pleased and I will definitely shop here again.

I love Target. You can get basically anything here. Groceries, clothes, electronics and more for a reasonable price. Employees are very friendly an vs most of them knowledgeable to help you in your quest. I shop there regularly. 👍🏼

My girlfriend and I did holiday shopping together here. She absolutely loves Target and never had any issues here before incident I'm describing below.At one point during shopping later on while walking together a guard started following my girlfriend, but not me. She is Latina.We did our shopping together with separate carts, mostly sticking together but not looking in each other's carts (didn't want to spoil each other's presents).She was followed around everywhere by a white security guard, very closely, all the way up to checkout. If we split up he'd follow her but not me.It was extremely uncomfortable and she was so incredibly upset during and after. Shameful how Target is still having these profiling issues in 2021, almost 2022. Until we hear back about something being done on this issue, avoid shopping here, especially if you're a person of color.

I used to buy most of my groceries here simply because they had more affordable prices for their store brand and organic store brand foods, but stopped because the shelves are usually bare of product and I would usually end up not having half the things that I need. As somebody who used to work here, I know that that it can be challenging to stock shelves while constantly being called up for back up at the registers so management should do something about either having more cashiers or more people on the floor to stock shelves. Not to mention there’s new people every time I come in here and very few people that I know from when I used to work here. I still love Target and always end up buying more than I originally intended on, but just keep your shelves stocked.

Used to be an easy place to shop but since the remodel you can't find anything even with the help of the app I just spent 30 mins looking for socks and walked out empty handed. Target really dropped the ball on this one.

I shop at this store often and always do self-checkout. Recently I have almost been accosted by three employees working the self-checkout area. Literally standing near my cart, jangling their keys, wearing a no-nonsense jacket with "security" on the back. It was extremely uncomfortable. I would think there are other theft preventions at play here and, if not, some alarm would go off or security would notice. My prior experience at this Target will prevent me from going there. Clearly they need to reign in their wanna be cops. -- an uncomfortable employee
