Christian in Plumbing. Really stuck by my side on trouble shooting my irrigation timer. It was a long day for me swapping parts and trying to get it done right but he really spent a lot of time trying to run threw what could be wrong in the end got me what I needed and helped me fix my problem. Felt like he actually wanted to help and was not just selling things. In the end we found the correct parts we needed and things are working great 👍

You cant bead Farm Supply! The staff is really knowledgeable and helpful. The garden dept is not huge but has very quality stuff and reasonable pricing. They will load all bagged goods which is great! They also have a bunch of western wear here as well as odd things like some home goods. My wife bought these really stylish table lamps for our living room on sale there a couple years ago. Go Figure! There is a very nice industrial parts department as well for piping needs and pumps, switches, well supplies and that sort of thing. I have purchased a lot of professional plumbing supplies for work here that you would never find anywhere else in town. I really cant say enough about what a fine establishment this is. I am very thankful that we have them in SLO!

Not huge, but they manage to stock enough essential items that I visit regularly. A great selection of healthy plants - both decorative and vegetable - heads my list. Excellent variety of fertilizers and plant pots. Several high-end dog foods that cannot be found at big-box stores. Irrigation, electric fencing, other animal foods and meds. Finally, staff that knows what they have and cares about helping you.

I went to Farm Supply in San Luis Obispo recently to find jeans with no rips or tears (an apparent trend -yuck) I got steered by a helpful associate to the perfect Wrangler jeans for me. I have never had jeans that fit so well! I had never shopped there before, but my husband suggested it and it made sense. Good call - I'll be back. And no, I don't have a farm or ranch!

This is one great store. It carries just about every piece of hardware and clothing you'd ever want.And, I'm going to share a secret, even though doing so may cause a perpetual run - or, Egads! a price increase! - on my favorite product: Dr. Elsy's Premium Cat Litter.I scat you not, I just came back from there with five 18+-pound bags of the stuff, out the door for $53+/-. It was my only purchase, and I drove 60-miles round trip just to make it.In short, this cat litter really is nearly dust free, it clumps, and it don't stink.

We are home owners with a garden. Farm Supply has been our go to place for irrigation supplies, gardening supplies, and plants for years.If they don't have it they can get it, everything for the gardener or farmer. We installed Drip Irrigation in our yard and purchased all the stuff from FS. We also took classes on how to do Drip Irrigation that really helped a lot.The garden department will answer all your questions and has almost any plant or garden supply you could think of.Best place in town for the home gardener or farmer.

I ordered chicks from Farm Supply in SLO several days ago. They were available for pickup in about a week. Very healthy chicks. The only reason why I didnt give 5 stars is because I was supposed to pick up 6 chicks and only got 5 because a homeless lady (right in front of me) picked one of my chicks up and took it! I was pretty upset and when I let one of the employees know, she didn't go or ask security to cheak the ladys purse. Just apologized and said they couldn't do anything because she didnt see it. They really should put some chicken wire over so random people cant touch or steal baby chicks , especially when I drove over an hour to pick them up.

Farm Supply on Tank Farm Road in SLO is one of my favorite local nurserys! It is always a fun experience to find healthy, unusal plants, get a special order, or gain knowledge from the "happy to help" nursery staff. The associated store with farming, pet, and horse supplies and country decor/clothing is also a great experience!

The best store is in SLO but that's not saying much all the stores are like being in a big box store lots of bodies but not much help there are better places to buy feed and sundriesThe independent feed stores need our support and you must know who they are if you are reading this
