The manager is terrible at this location...I would of gave no stars if I couldFew times I have boughten meat ( pork chops and yesterday a rack of lamb) that was very spoiled I've looked for my recipe couldn't find it but put it back in the grocery outlet bag took back ,the manager makes you go through so much just to get your $15.00 back or exchange he wanted to know what time I was there what line I was in who helped me then went in the back to look on camera then comes wants to see my bank statement showing I was there .Terrible terrible if anything don't buy meats! And check ✔️✔️ every thingI'm being truthful and honest while I been in the store seen people get drinks/ chips eat while walking in store not payGuess I'll be calling corporate

I like this store, location, and spot for this store a lot!And, the prices in there are VERY low and good!I bought a box of 60 Garbage Bags for (I think) &4.99?🤔Anyway, here's another reason why I like that location and spot for that store!IT'S RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM WALMART!😄😄😄

Went to grocery outlet on Hesperian bought a rack of lamb for $15 did not have the receipt when I opened the lamb it was bad went today to exchange or get the money back

They have a good selection of produce and meat as well as deli items. Cashiers are not very friendly. Employees that work the floor speak no English. Makes it hard to ask questions. Especially when the cashier is not friendly. Most of the guys that cashiers are very nice will talk to you. More so than the younger girls. My opinion. It is fast and easy to pick up something.

Seriously? Did we really need another Grocery Outlet there is so many in Hayward city already the store is pretty put together and organized kind of small not many choices though like the other ones in Hayward some things are about to expire or some things already are I do admit that they do have a good variety of home care products but the food is not that great or produce milk was spoiled and when you do find something at Grocery Outlet you like you can never find it again unless you go online and find it 😆 so good luck 😁

This Grocery Outlet, Bargain Market is ok! Parking can be an issue if it's busy! Conveniently located across from WalMart at the corner of Hesperian Blvd & Lewelling! Fairly organized and clean!

I witnessed the most disgusting, barbaric, and unprofessional behavior from who I believe to be the owners of the store and at the very least employees of the store. I was shopping and witnessed the two (believed to be) owners of the store and another employee aggressively approach, a customer who had her two children with her and asked if she was going to pay for the shampoo that was in her purse. Mind you the woman was shopping and had not attempted to leave the store yet. Anyone who has worked in retail or who has half of a brain cell knows that you wait for someone to attempt to leave the store before accusing them of stealing to prevent yourself from potential legal recourse. The woman then replied, and said yes, I will pay for it and probably said something rude under her breath. The two owners and employee then started yelling at her and physically cornering her and her two children and screamed at them to get out of the store. As she proceeded to leave, they continued to curse and aggressively corner her. The children then became very upset and the woman owner began to address the children directly which ranged from her cussing at them and spitting on at least one of them. Things got so bad that myself and other customers had to intervene at the front of the store. These employees completely mishandled this situation and played the primary role in escalating this situation. Was the woman going to steal $10 worth of shampoo? Maybe. Probably. But you have to allow that to be attempted to accuse someone of stealing. Either way, should that have escalated into a big scene and have an adult vulgarly curse and spit directly at child? Absolutely not under no circumstances.If the male and female are the owners of this franchise as I suspect them to be, they don’t deserve to own a grocery outlet in a community where they treat their customers and children like this. I have reported this incident to the corporate headquarters given that all grocery outlets are individually owned by franchisees. They must be held accountable. Don’t spend your money here.

Love shopping here. Prices are great for produce especially & they have a lot of unique & health oriented grocery items. So much so that I seem to want practically everything I see! Best time to shop is in evening as there's no line at all! And they have coupons on the receipt to save more occasionally. Ditch Walmart once & come across the street, you might be glad you did.

Good deals everywhere. I shop here and at other Grocery Outlet stores a lot. They always have great deals on new things and wines but, you have to get them when you see them. Stores are independently owned so inventories vary from store to store other than their ad items. So it's always fun to go to stores out of town or far away. GREAT prices on good wines with huge discounts (50% or more sometimes) off winery/retail prices.

The store is clean but the customer service is horrible!!! I love how the owner refused to give me her name so i couldn't make a corporate complaint. I understand mistakes can happen but there is no need for the rudeness and i can say first time i walk in to a store where NO ONE has a name tag. On top of all that i was charged for something i didn't buy i felt it was intentional and i won't go back for the 7.50 they can keep it. So to conclude don't expect good customer service except to be treated like they are entitled to the money you're about to spend in their store oh and both owners are there and both of them were laughing thinking the whole situation was funny at least they could have waited until we left for them to laugh at the fact that they were being rude to us and i am waiting on corporates call back because I will be making that complaint

Better prices than most in the area but don't expect to have many brand choices of any one type of product. A good place to go to pick up several of the items on your grocery list before buying the rest somewhere else. If you have the time and like saving a little money that is. Seemed short staffed but idk I've only been there twice now.

Love this store. It's number one out of any other stores I shop. I get my organic products here, dairy, meat & grains are so so much cheaper here. Produce could be cheaper than it has been as long as I've been coming here. I find that over any stores I shop, I buy my fruit at Food Maxx, believe it or not, it's sweeter than anywhere else, like Lucky, Whole Food, Safeway, etc.

Can almost find most things here. It helps that prices are good and sometimes an unusual or name brand item is significantly discounted to make it move, real bargains. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

It's the Ross of grocery stores, and I like shopping at Ross to see a mix of different brands together. Just be careful with the produce, some may already be molding or rotten. Otherwise I like the selection of items to try out for a good price sometimes.

24 pack of string cheese for $2.17, but wait... it is BOGO! That is only 5 cents per cheese stick. That is a perfect example of the kind of deal you can find at Grocery outlet. If you buy groceries, and you enjoy getting deals on things that you buy, and finding deals on interesting new products to try at a discount, this is the place to shop!

This Grocery Outlet has become my favorite GO store. The store is spacious and clean, items are organized and priced, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I've been to at least six other GO stores in the Bay Area and, since this store opened, I have been here most frequently.Lines for the cashiers flow into a shopping aisle and the line is hidden from other customers wanting to check-out. Perhaps the manager could post signs for customers to form one line.GO store owners are small businesses although GO is a franchise model.

This new location is nice, clean and roomy. I have been waiting for it to open. However, customer service is horrible. Whoever manages the staff needs to mandate a class in customer service care. The staff is rude I went to ask a question and the lady totally ignored my calls for assistance, kept walking. Needless to say, the clerks should greet the customer and have some kind of dialogue. The clerk never said a word during my transaction; I had to ask for a bag. Terrible for a new store. I hope that this review is taken serious enough to make the necessary changes.Thanks for your time.
