Unsatisfied ! I have the cute teddy bear toy dog I picked my baby up they cut alll of her hair offf the shortest level shaved her face completely down to the skin ! literally didn’t even look like the same dog ! My dog went in as a teddy bear came out looking sick and like a whole different breed , reminded me a lot of a Chihuahua. Price was ridiculous my puppy is a toy dog extremely tiny and they charged me 65$$ I’ve never paid more then 35$ for my dog full hair cut , bathing, and nail cut , all together so the price was ridiculous work was foolish it was surprising they’ll even logically cut a dogs hair to look the way they did . NOT TO MENTION MY DOG CAME HOME WITH FLEAS I JUST HAD TO TREAT MY ENTIRE HOME AND DOG FOR FLEAS AFTER ALLL OF THAT

We have been going there since it started in 2015. Prices have gone up slightly, but they are still lower than anywhere else and great, quick grooming without nonsense or delusions of grandeur. A number of the other groomers in San Leandro seem to think they are in Beverly Hills or Pacific Heights, act as if they are doing you a favor, and charge you close to 100. Spare yourself the drama and go to Tender Loving Care Pet Grooming.

Do not go here you will definitely regret it, this is the horrible job they did layers on my dog’s ears one shorter and they did one paw not the rest they did horrible work. I complained but all they can do is shave him completely at this pointNext time I rather pay more, they messed up my dogs hair very badIt will take a long time for his ears to look normalBeware and what you save in money will make you pay in the end they do rush job and you will surely regret it because my dog looks very bad you know what else

My cat was extremely matted all over. They shaved his body but not his head, paws, or a bit at the end of his tail. So cute! The full treatment with bath and nails etc was worth the money. The workers did a very quick job for a drop in.

Jenny was so patient and sweet to Bentley , I felt so bad for her because my baby was scared of the blow dryer and nipped her but she was so nice in the end, I’ll be taking him back

I took our hospital dog baby girl for her 1st hair cut and bath away from us. The gentlemen who does the grooming is very nice and he did a great job. He said she was very good with him. I asked for a neat trim on her and looked so cute and knew she was feeling pretty.

I took my Cavachon in for a puppy cut. First appointment, the groomer shaved her, I couldn’t believe it when I picked her up! I also asked her to use shampoo for sensitive skin, obviously she didn’t cause my poor puppy is scratching all over especially in the area’s she shaved. I’ll have to give her another bath tonight.This is the worse grooming I’ve ever experienced. If you have a certain breed DO NOT take your puppy here, she doesn’t understand what a puppy cut is… it’s going to take at least 5-6 months for her face and feet to grow out!!! Beware!!!

Great place to take your cat to get shaved. My cat has very dense fur and usually during the summer i shave him down and let his fur grow back for the winter. The price is great for getting your cat groomed on a budget. They also take walk ins so no appointment needed! But you can still make appointments if choose to do so.

Very good haircut. Loved it. My dog looked so happy after. I took him to get a hair cut somewhere else and he came out completely traumatized. This places Is amazing and cheap. The staff was friendly. They did an amazing job and I would recommend them to someone else for sure.

My dog is a problem because she doesn't want her back end touched, making it difficult finding a groomer that can handle her. At Tender Loving Care she got just that TLC and there was no problem. She came out looking fluffy and clean. I am very impressed, satisfied. The groomer was very good with her and my dog responded to the attention by being reasonably easy to handle.

May (the groomer) is so nice...we have a Golden Retriever and he is big. Very reasonable with her prices....

Took my pet for grooming for his 14th birthday. Being Sunday they were the only salon open near by. But they did such a lousy job that I would never ever use them again. I found them very inexperienced and untrained in handling dogs who are not anxious.

Absolutely great ! I took my 10month old dog here for a haircut and bath and she came out looking so beautiful! The price is good and they even gave her a cute pink bandanna! I would recommend to everyone!

Love this place! They take last minute appointments and their service is consistent. I just drop my dog off, tell them to make him look cute and pick him up with no problems!!

Love them!! I bring both of my large-breed dogs, and know that they will be well cared for at Tender Loving Care. At other groomers, there is a fight to get them out of the car to go inside. Not here. And they don't keep my dogs locked in a cage all day. They are fast and efficient.

Our dog Bear Claw was fully groomed for the 1st time on 5/15/16. She is a short haired overweight chihuahua mix. My husband went to pick her up early and she was giving the groomer trouble during shaving. But they got it done and she looks great! Glad I came across their add in the Castro Valley Forum. Prices are reasonable too.

I love this place my dog always looks beautiful when she comes out I have a Cockapoo. This place is always booked so make appointments walk ins are rare she charges 45 dollars and I think that’s descent totally recommend

I wanted the schnauzer cut and she buzzed. My dog's hair short shorts short it's very uneven growing back. It's no biggie but if ur picky....I'd go to covys on meekland oh and this lady almost gave me the wrong dog, and two different leashes before randomly selecting my pet and her leash. And they didn't do anything to verify that my dog was really mine. They should have something to make me feel like they aren't going to give my dog away by "accident"

We called to make an appointment and showed up a few minutes early to talk with the groomer. This was the first time my mother and I were taking our puppy to get groomed. When we arrived my mother asked to see the bathing area. This is something all pet owners should be able to see in order to be assured we are taking our pets to an adequate groomer. We could only see the front area of the small store and it looked dirty. The groomer was very rude and defensive when my mom asked to see the bathing area he said "I don't get why you need to see it" "why do you need to see it". This was very uncomfortable and not very welcoming. His defensiveness was quite suspicious it makes no sense to not allow us to view the area that our dog was being bathed in. He made no effort to reassure us he only repeatedly asked us why we would want to see it. He also made no effort to keep us as customers. After being asked the same question over and over again ("why do you want to see it") we decided to leave. He was against the idea of us viewing his grooming area his body language was uneasy and his attitude and tone was just RUDE. Do not see this groomer if you want to garuntee a healthy grooming. There must have been something to hide. If not he did a poor job of explaining himself and making us feel comfortable of leaving our puppy with him.

A friend of mine told me about this place they are great I took both my dogs their price is very affordable.. they had both of my dogs done in 2 hours and they look great I recommend this place highly.
