This place is absolutely a cool place to hang out! The owners are down to earth and very hospitable. The live band was excellent, beer and wine were delicious and the atmosphere is impeccable! I haven't left yet and I am looking forward to next time.

Found this place by the sound of the amazingly talented band that was playing here. It has a nice and friendly set up inside. The outside is a cozy little garden area with seating and an area for live entertainment. People were having a good time, drinking, dancing, socializing. I wish I could have stayed longer. I will make sure to stop in again if I am ever this way again.

We always love the 18th barrel. Sitting on the patio relaxing and having a nice glass of wine, champagne or beer. We tried their cheeseboard this time and it was fabulous!

Great selection of beers on one side and a wine bar on the other side! They have a huge patio with ample seating with heaters, umbrellas and food trucks! Customer service was amazing. Never rushed our big group out after last call. I'd recommend to my friends!

Pretty awesome wine beer and cider tasting room just down the block from the mission.It's physically divided into an indoor tasting bar and an outdoor beer garden thingy.Inside there's room at the bar counter(bars actually. the beer/cider side is across from the wine side and yes you can do tastings from both at the same time. Perfect for mixed groups) some super loungy couch seating and some stand up artsy high tables. Generally speaking there is more room outside but it can get very hot and there is simply nowhere to get away from the music. Inside is much more intimate.Both the wine and the beer selection is carefully curated. There are some outstanding choices here, although in general the tasting flights will be more in middle price/quality range .The owners have taken particular care to make the space comfortable and very modern.All in all this is an excellent spot for a glass or a pint.

Excellent beer and wine bar in the heart of SJB. Great beer and wine selection with a good mix of local and not-so-local offerings. Staff was extremely friendly and the owners were awesome. Both indoor and outdoor seating available with the outdoor seating being dog friendly.

First time out with the wife in a long time. Went to check out 18th Barrel. Every person working there is so friendly and just had a great and awesome personality. Unfortunately they closed early due to plumbing issues. Even thou we were only there for about 30 minutes.... we had a great time. We will definitely be going back. Bartender... sorry I am really bad with names.. was a great bartender/good host. He definitely knows his stuff when it comes to beers. Recommended a beer Nick name "BABY MAMA" wife absolutely enjoyed. Plan on returning back soon. Real soon.

Great place for drinks and nice patio. Anthony and Monica are so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They have live music all the time and catering trucks most weekends. Highly recommend.

Came on a trip to San Juan Baustista and came across this place. Upon entering one of my friends was demanded in a very very rude & violent matter to show her ID. Yes they have to ask for IDs but it doesn’t have to be by someone giving you attitude. Won’t be returning! Whoever the owner is needs to train their staff properly on customer service.
