Neighborhood target store selling clothes, electronics, beer and liquor, toys, and many other items. Also has a grocery department with vegetables, fruit, and frozen/fresh food. Target also has a built-in Starbucks and a Pizza Hut.The lines here can get very long and expect to wait both for purchasing and also at the Starbucks. Other than that, this is a great neighborhood Target with almost everything you could need. Parking is great and the location is in a safe neighborhood and located near major highways and byways.Store is kept clean and very well stocked. There was plenty of staff around to help with questions. The parking lot was organized without carts everywhere. Overall, this is great and what you can expect from a Target that is well-run (except for the long lines).

Home Decor at its best!Check out $3 section when you enter for some exciting finds.. mostly seasonal stuff!I even bought couple of jeans from here and denim collection is awesome. Their own brand Universal Thread.Store is open until 11 PM never much crowded though!Enjoy!

Not the biggest one but it has all the necessities that i need. I visit this store atleast twice a week. Love the place. The staffs are friendly. Efficient service. All covid protocols are under taken. Ample parking. Pick up services are very prompt. The fastest i have done it within an hour. There is no waiting in the drive up lane at all. Few limited produce section but works well for me. Love their clothing brand too. Super comfy garments

Love the store. Have been coming here for last 6 years. A calm and beautiful store, well organised, clean and friendly staff. I am able to find most of the things of daily use here that keeps me worry free.

Target has both saved me so many times, and also improve so significantly, that it is a one-stop shop, close to home, carrying pretty much everything. It's a little bit more expensive in some areas, but quite reasonable in others. The convenience of it makes it the most regularly visited spot from my home.

A good place to spend some quick shopping in this area.I felt even better than Walmart.I spent almost half day to pick most of the items from clearance sale section.Wifi service also decent.There is a Starbucks inside this shop but not a clean place to eat, I did not like the food taste & quality also here.

I cannot recommend shopping at this store for many reasons. Background: I normally shop at the SJ College Park (Coleman) location and will also shop at the SJ Capitol location if Coleman is out of stock on an item. This was my first time at the San Jose North (Holger) location.PEOPLE ARE NOT SOCIAL DISTANCING AT THIS LOCATION. STAFF ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ENFORCE LOCAL HEALTH ORDINANCES FOR SOCIAL DISTANCING. THERE IS NOT SUFFICIENT SIGNAGE IN THE STORE TO REMIND PEOPLE TO MAINTAIN APPROPRIATE DISTANCE.There was a customer walking around the store without a mask on. I brought it to the attention of a store manager and she stated that they are NOT ALLOWED to enforce social distancing requirements. Only to remind customers to please abide by them. The manager also pulled her mask down exposing her nose while telling me she isn't allowed to enforce the local health ordinance. Really??There are signs on the ground for ONLY the self-checkout line marking 6-ft distance. But this is not being done for ANY of the regular checkout lanes. I was in line at a regular checkout lane buying baby formula and the family in line behind me was not keeping their distance. I needed to use the card reader and asked the man in line behind me (see photo) to give me some room please. He reluctantly moved while calling me STUPID. I asked him "what did you say to me!?" The entirely family gave me dirty looks as if I had kicked their dog. How hard is it to give the person in front of you 6 ft of clearance during a pandemic? It is for your health and your family's health as much as it is for mine. I also informed the manager of this man's behavior and she had nothing to offer in terms of enforcement.The baby formula I went in to the store to buy was listed at $10.99 on the Target website as well as on the Target Circle app. In store it was marked as $12.99 and this was the price at the register. I asked for a price match (which the manager eventually honored) but only after quite a bit of back and forth. The manager kept reiterating to me that the price I was seeing was for the SJ Capitol store and they do not price match other stores. Fair enough. I asked why is yours $2 more? She cited "we're closer to the SF Bay Area so that's why the price is higher". Uhh what? You're not THAT much closer to SF than the Capitol store to warrant a 18.2% mark-up. And last time I checked SJ Capitol is still a part of the Bay Area.I was also able to show her on the Target App on my phone that the price for delivery, in-store pick-up or curbside pick-up at her SJ North store was the same ($10.99) as the Capitol store. Her phone scanner was showing her $12.99 and she simply stated "well we don't go by the Target Circle App". Uhh, okay, but the Target Circle app pulls from the Target website doesn't it? It is your company's app, is it not? I literally could have bought it from her store on my app, walked over to the counter to pick it up for the $10.99 price, and NOT had to deal with this issue. There was a 20% Target Circle offer that I also wanted to use, but she either said it was already reflected in the $10.99 price (wrong) or that they don't allow the coupon on top of the price match. Fine lady, you win.It was incredibly frustrating having her invalidate what I was saying when I could clearly show her on my phone that the price was $10.99 for all stores, online, and delivery. I have received price matching at the Coleman and Capitol locations without having to go through this whole rigmarole. The ONLY reason I went in-store to buy this was that I wanted to use the 20% off Target Circle offer and I had a $10 manufacturer rebate voucher (in-store only). I ended up having to pay the $0.99 difference since she wouldn't allow me to use the 20% discount. It wasn't worth $0.99 to leave and get it at my regular store so I just went ahead and bought it.BUT NEVER AGAIN WILL I BOTHER WITH THIS STORE. THIS WAS SO NOT WORTH THE HASSLE THIS MANAGER PUT ME THROUGH NOR THE RUDE MAN CALLING ME STUPID FOR ASKING HIM TO SOCIAL DISTANCE

Been using there brands for more than 10 years now. Styles have always been a great experience to work with the material they sale. Truly appreciate the opportunity to also worked for the company and learned the value the company give me to be my first adult job outside my comfort level. So rad that there's so many store within couple mile distance. Customers service and some of the employees are very rude especially those common stores I would visit, reason I'm only giving 4 start.

I love Target but time is not always on my side. I commute from Brentwood to Los Altos and I try to find places of convenience. The Fallon Road, Dublin and the 237/1st, San Jose is an easy on and off.Both store are clean right from the front doors, appearance and sales floor displays are "eye catching" everything is easy to find. I love I just never have the time to browse but one day!!!!I will make time one day...

Target's are all the same however I've been to this one enough times to know the way they handle checkout needs much work.First - self checkout line can be long and winds directly in front of the employee manned registers confusing some customers into thinking there's only one line for all.Second - while standing in line at a register the employee might suddenly (regardless of how long the line or time you've stood there) close the register leaving everyone to find another checkout on their own.I want to be clear about the second point. This is a problem with management not the employee.

Went to this Target store to buy some makeup supplies for the girlfriend and grocery shop. Asked a Target employee for an item. They couldn't find it and said they would try to look for it after they help another guest. I ended up finding it on my own. The store needs to hire employees to restock supplies and place the items in the right location.They also need to take Connie off register. I left the self checkout, which was 4 to 5 times longer than her line only to get ring up after the self checkout cleared out. There was only 2 people in front of me, which we should of all been checked out quickly. When I try to get my Target wallet scan at the beginning, she informed me that she would scan it at the end even though I had it opened and showing to her. Apparently her priority isn't towards the customer and more about herself.They also punish EV drivers by putting the electric charger on the other side of the building. The layout doesn't even make sense.The only positive things about this Target is that the store is relatively clean and parking is plentiful.

Attention Target shoppers.....THIS TARGET IS SELLING COMPROMISED GIFT CARDS. Do not buy gift cards from this location. I personally lost $50 on a faked Apple gift card, and when I went in to the store to see if there was anything they would do, the clerk (who was very nice and helpful), indicated that management had indicated under no circumstances was there to be any repayment or recompense for compromised gift cards, and that I was probably the 10th person that day who had come in with the same complaint. Come on, Target bigwigs, do something to protect your gift cards, or stop selling them!

I saw the sale and got bunch of items including facial tissues , paper towels , detergent in order to get the gift card. At the end the gift card was not offered and I asked and they told me facial tissues didn’t count as household items . I told them it is and they didn’t wanna offer it so the transaction had to be canceled and I had to go back to their shelf to take the photos of the promotional flyer to show the employees . Then they laughed and asked why am I buying so many tissues ? ( I don’t think a professional customer service clerk is supposed to ask customers this type of questions while I don’t even know them ). They keep on questioning me and figured out I was right but only end up just saying “ so does $15 is all you want and care? If u just want $15, I will just give u that” with a not so kind attitude . While I live close by and come to this location almost every other day , I never had anyone there providing service like this before . Even more , I don’t think I deserve to be treated this way as a loyal customer . While it’s their system doesn’t align with the promotional deal , I didn’t hear any apology or feel they have any intention to make the system work . Instead , I have to keep on proving the deal myself while most shops usually just honor the deal nicely without even questioning anything . Their attitude feels like they honor the gift card to me just to “honor” it as I asked for it so that everyone who saw this would probably think I am just a greedy ridiculous woman and it’s my fault to ask for the gift card which is not supposed to be mine. This is not the first time the system didn’t work properly and many times the managers would just honor it without me going back and forth helping them finding the mistake the system had. What has happened is very frustrating and I do think system need to be worked out better with the promotional deal and the newest employees need to know their products and promotion better and treating customers with a bit more respect .Otherwise it will really cause the loyal customers stop shopping in this location in the future.

I generally absolutely love Target. But this location specifically become the 1 target I would not want to shop at again. Cars are broken into often it seems. Happened to us and about 6 or 7 other vehicles at the same time over a week ago. The neighborhood isn’t sketchy…it’s across the street from an upscale complex with multiple restaurants. Car break-ins are apparently very common and should be expected of shoppers at both target and the complex across the street. The parking lot was decently lit I thought…there seem to be security cameras in the parking lot but not sure why no one has been able to take any action. The security guard was in the complex across the street apparently during the time of the break-ins. The cops weren’t surprised at all…it was a normal call for them that day apparently. Doesn’t look like the Target Management has taken any type of ownership to resolve this since these incidents continue to take place. I’ve never allowed myself to get disappointed by target for any reason until now…They should hire more security and take action since it’s an everyday thing.

Always an amazing trip to this target until tonight. Sadly your manager is poorly trained and rude. I came in to buy some pants I have seen on discount the day before which I bought two of them. Since my brother really liked them too I came back tonight to purchase some extra which the discount was still on some of them. Unfortunately not all of them had them but my understanding is as long as the SKU matches or serial number the should honor the price.The manager was rude and wasn't willing to do the job correctly. He wasn't approaching me correctly just saying can't do it.cant do it.He needs to be retrained or relocatedThank you

One of the worst Target stores I’ve ever been too. Coming from Minnesota (Target HQ), I’ve seen and know what Target stands for. After visiting this location, I realized how few stores like this can spoil the brand. First, so many dirty carts and I had a hard time finding a decent cart to use, then, store was not that cleanly maintained and fewer cashier counters and severely understaffed, both self checkout and cashier counters and a mile long line on Sunday evening. After standing for a long time at the counter, the staff says she cudnt print receipts in that counter and had me move to another counter. Awful experience.

We went to two other stores and no one attended us like the Target employee (Nathaniel) did. He was knowledgeable and was very helpful. We showed him the ad of the TV we were interested in & he had the TV on our cart rung up & out the door 20 minutes tops. Keep up the good work Target employee Nathaniel you're awesome!

Check your receipt before you leave the store! they charged me for 2 of one item I bought. They seem to always get away with charging extra for some items also. I don't trust them and always watch the items as they get scanned to make sure the price is what the shelf lists.

I had coupons for baby formula and would like to use them for different formula purchases. The staff and a girl (maybe a store supervisor) said that I can only use one coupon for one purchase and cannot split into different purchases. They are ok with me taking different trips to make different purchases but not making it convenient for me right now. So it’s simple stupid that I need to go though troubles to make multiple trips for purchases instead of checking out separately. They explained “it’s for other people to be able to purchase formula.” While, guess what, I ended up purchase all the formula without coupon. So the problem is not about limiting how much you can purchase but how many coupon you can use. Just Stupid and Not nice people there.

The most poorly managed target I’ve ever been to. Regularly has a line of 50 people to check out because they don’t open more than one register. I’m not exaggerating when I say the line goes all the way past the registers and to the home goods section. This was not a one off occasion either it’s like this half the time I come here
