This is our second time going to petco grooming yesterday, and it was very disappointing. We had an awesome experience the first time with Yecenia, she was nice and caring and even put on a cute bow for our dog after we asked if she could do a teddy bear cut. With this great experience, we scheduled another appointment this time with the stylist Rachel. Like the first time, we showed our stylist a photo and asked if she could do a teddy bear cut similar to that. She looked at the photo and asked another stylist how long the coat is supposed to be, the answer was "one inch". Then we came back and saw how disastrous the cut has came out, we immediately asked Rachel about it, her reply was "you have to pay more if you wanted her(our dog's) hair to be longer". First, she should've said this when we showed her the photo at the beginning and we would've paid extra for it. Second, the problem with that haircut is far beyond being too short. There would be a strand that was extra long and another place where you can see her skin. It's pretty clear that our stylist is inexperienced and her attitude wasn't great either. I would come to this place in the future but I would definitely not schedule another appointment with Rachel ever again. I attached a few photos for reference.

Great staff, took care of our anxious 7month old rescued pup. First time ever that we hear she did okay! and wasn't overly stressed. It's clear that they care about your dog 🐕. We are happy that our dog came home clean, groomed without being a nervous wreck. Will be going back again 😊

I love Michelle. She has taken the time to get to know me and my dogs and is very gentle with them. She takes the time to do a good job, doesn't hurt them and doesn't make them scared. She always makes sure that their vaccinations are up to date and tells you what they need done. She, also, will let you know how to get the best bang for your buck and the best times to bring your dogs back so that they are staying clean and fresh. Thank you, Michelle!!!

Michelle has been Pilot's groomer for many many years now. And she continually exercises great care and grooming on our papillon. She is thorough and considerate. I mentioned to her my dog's back issue, even gave her a copy of the doctor's report. She looked it over and made sure she was careful picking him up. I am fully confident that she will do a good job as well as keep Pilot safe.

Wasn't there for grooming. Needed a new harness and Nathan was extraordinary!!!! He had me bring doggie in and greeted him and then fit him in the best one for him!!!! Thanks petco staff!!! The cashier whose name escapes me was extraordinary as well!!!!

They did a great job with his cut. We do not bring him often but they trimmed him exactly as I wanted. They also gave us rave reviews as I picked him up with a Report Card and all! I only wish I could find out how they brushed his teeth. He never sits with me when I try to brush his teeth. So maybe they can share tips on how to keep that up in between grooming appointments.

Shelves were not stocked, and full pallets, roll carts, were sitting in the isles. Shopping carts of returned/abandoned merchandise were blocking some of the isles. Incoming phone calls were being announced over the PA system many of them repeatedly. I was able to find an employee over by the live animals and she told me all about the nutrition value of their cockroaches vs ones that you could harvest from the corners of your garage or alleyways, oblivious to the PA announcements from customers that were waiting for someone to make an appointment to have their dog groomed or checking on availability of merchandise.

The groomer was patient, gentle & caring with my service dog. She listened to my concerns about other previous dog nail trimmers who had hurt Sammy & made her afraid of getting her nails trimmed again. This groomer did a great job. Sammy wasn't scared. She was a happy dog at the end of her appointment.

Our groomer, Delfina, is nothing short of AMAZING! She is the dog whisperer with our dog, Harley. I've never seen Harley so relaxed entering the salon and willingly go with a groomer like she does with Delfina. After being home due to Covid-19 and no grooming for months, Harley was more than a hot mess! She was unrecognizable. I left her as the lookalike abominable snowdog and picked up my Harley! She looked amazing! We love Delfina and will continue to groom with Petco Blossom Hill (CA) as long as Delfina is there!
