Been shopping here for 6 years. I don’t come often but when I do, it’s super helpful. This is the Whole Foods of pet food, which is perfect because it’s right next to a Whole Foods.Generally, I just come here for a few specific things and also to look at specific specialty items when I’m trying to do research on what to buy. Staff are always very helpful. I may not end up following what they recommend because I’m the kind of person that ends up researching and using the best products I can find and then making my own homemade version of some things which I know is out of scope for a lot of people.I’ve used the dog wash once. It was super easy and nice to use, but as my dog is pretty small, we usually do this at home, but this would be great for someone with a large or difficult dog. One thing that I find really great, is that if an item is on sale or regular price you can buy three and get the fourth one for Free. This may not apply to everything (typically food & treats) but be sure and ask. Usually at least one staff member will have some personal detailed experience with a product that you have a question on which is pretty impressive. Typically, I buy treats, super high quality kibble, and some dog treatment products.

Great place to find high end pet food, treats, and toys. They also have clothing for pets, fresh pet food, cats for adoption, and a self grooming station in the back. They also have a pet scale by the registers. Very friendly staff and clean store.

Daughter and I went here to adopt a cat. Staff was friendly and helpful. Town Cats was the adoption organization. The two girls there were very patient and accommodating. I walked around the store a bit and it was well stocked and organized.

This location feels like a PFX super store. They have dedicated veterinary space, adoptable cats and a new corner just for fresh and frozen food. The staff here is consistently extremely helpful and friendly. The manager I pestered with very specific dog food questions never bat an eye and really helped me narrow down my choices, he was clearly very well educated on the products carried.Parking here can get a bit hairy because of the busy Whole Foods and narrow/weird spaces, so going on not a weekday evening is usually a good choice. It's a good location to get in and out of quickly though since it's so well staffed.This is a pretty high traffic location, so I don't bring my dog here because he's a sensitive and grumpy old man who doesn't like his own kind.To all the employees that listen to me drone on about a boring thing I think my dog is good at while checking out, thanks.

I love this place. The staff is very knowledgeable on their products, and when we take our beagle Bella into the store, she loves to pick out her own treats. This place is definitely a family outing for us. We even use the dog washing area, which is a great place to go and bathe your own dog.The plus for me is that they offer natural no preservative grass fed premium foods. It's pretty reasonable in price.

Monica was exemplary! She informed us of the promotions they had going on and kept a friendly upbeat attitude. She has a lot of product knowledge and answered all the questions we had about food, treats, and services they provide. She made sure we left with a happy pup! I will definitely be returning in hopes to experience the same level of service Monica provided me today.

Pet food express has been my go-to place for all things pet related. This one in particular is one of the most clean and pleasant to be at. During my last visit, they were hosting a puppy yoga event that was super adorable.

Came here for dog wash, and had the worst experience with one of the staff members. He is the white older male staff on Sunday afternoon shift. One of my dogs is very verbal but not aggressive at all. This staff was rude to me and my dogs when I was paying for the the dog wash. I felt belittled and discriminated against. If you do not like dog barking please do not work in a pet store. Never had such bad experience in a pet food express before. Other than this particular staff, we have a great experience. As long as this staff works here, we will not come back again to this pet food express.

I visited this store today and within minutes of entering this store I was profiled and rushed by an older male. He pretended to approach as if to help, at first I was appreciative because I'd been to two stores before coming to this one and both were out of stock on an item. I told him what I was there for and couldn't find on the shelf, he offered to check the back and as I waited and approached the register he was on the wireless speaking with the cashier about me.I make six figures.I intend on contacting a lawyer and their corporate office.

Why don’t the workers at the Blossom Hill store keep the dog washing area clean?I had to flag someone over because all of the animal cleaning stations were very dirty from previous dogs, hair all over the place and the floor where everyone walks was slippery and the mats were not clean.Last time I will go to this location.

Always love this location for a pet bath. The tubs are more shallow and the new hose nozzle are a plus. Staff are always friendly and giving a lot of treats. :)

I love shopping here! No matter which location a visit, the entire staff is always really friendly and always available to help without being overbearing or pushy. They have given me excellent advice over the years with both our adopted senior dog and rescue kitten. Fantastic service!

I hadn't been to this location before - all I can say is wow! It's huge and very well stocked! I really like pet food Express because they carry lines that I don't generally see anywhere else. And of course I always love the buy three get one free offer they have for everything in their store. I needed to get some oral care supplies for my dogs, and the young lady at the counter was very helpful and made excellent suggestions to me for things to try to engage my reluctant pups in their dental hygiene LOL 😆 I really appreciated her attitude and friendly demeanor, and I will try her suggestions if things don't work out for me with what I did by. Thanks so much!

I call ahead of time to place my dog food order since I feed raw and like to buy a good amount so I only need to buy every 7 or 8 weeks. The staff is so nice, they place my order and then call me when it's ready for pick up. Store is super clean and well stocked. They have clinics and adoption events which is really great plus they offer training! Kinda like a one stop shop but with a mom and pop store feel!

People here are very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I wish I knew the guy's name who helped me but in one trip there an associate was able to pick out my new pup's favorite treats (the only thing that have worked so far for crate training) and her 2 favorite toys. This place will definitely be my go to store for anything pup related in the future

Clean and organized store. Offering a great variety of products, they have more high end food choices.The staff is always friendly and helpful.They offer dog training, and Vet clinics.The dog washing stations are amazing. You get warm water, three types of shampoo complementary, dryer, and towels. There is a water bowl near the stations if your puppy gets thirsty and they give you a few treats as well.There is a cat adoption center, where you can see and take home some cuties.

Recently I purchased a round rawhide bone that my dog loved. I throw them out before she starts eating them. I was down in Blossom Valley so I called Pet Food Express on Blossom Hill to see if this is where I got the first one, and it was. When I visit my daughter I like to visit the store because it's clean and everybody is very helpful.I'm impressed because the employee that helped me was in the office when he took the call and he left the office, went into the store and checked for me if they carried the rawhide and the price. Pretty impressive service for a $6 item.Additionally, I didn't have my seatbelt extender for the dog so I asked if they had any in stock. He looked and responded they had three and gave me a description and prices on all three. I'm impressed that they have a $7 extender. A lot of brick and mortar pet stores don't have anything like that for under $18.Very pleased with the store, very pleased with the employees and very pleased with what's in stock. But I'm home I go to Pet Food Express in Palo Alto and when I visit my daughter I will use this store every time.

very helpful. I took my sons dog for a bath. the associate taking care of the wash area was very helpful to this 2nd time visitor. the wash areas are cleaned and sanitized after each use. I let Brooklyn pick out here treat and the cashier was kind enough to Point out if I bought 3 I would get 1 free , I'll have Brooklyn for 4 days that worked for me. But it's not as if I don't already have dog treats at home .I like Pet food Express.Thank you very muchVincent

I have been taking my cats here for about four years for vaccinations and checkups from the VIP clinic, and am always very happy with the service. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and very kind to the animals .It was busy and noisy the last time I came with one of my cats, but they told me I could take Max to a quieter part of the store to keep him calm and they would come get us when our number came up. I also appreciate Dr. Marilyn Ly-Luke. She is very professional and thorough, and really takes time to explain things. She is easy to reach by email too. I strongly recommend this place. Almost forgot -you also save a lot of money!

We came from Fremont after many calls - For the VIP Pet clinic & even thought the gentleman on the phone had no idea what he was talking about - The staff took us in for all 3 dogs & helped us with all our needs. I appreciate that even though if was distressing to come all the way down to this store to get our dogs help - & the person whom directed us to do so was uninformed - It is Covid & they did do a great job of meeting all our needs. Love this place!Wonderful customer service. The staff are extremely friendly. They have a good selection of holistic organic food, treats, toys and also the dog bathing facilities. The staff is very knowledgeable too.I used to feed my cat Iams, but after a while he started throwing up all the time. I switched to Royal Canine and the kitty eventually started throwing up again. I came here and put him on a holistic diet mostly canned fish and freeze dried organic kibble and he stopped throwing up. His fur is so soft and he has so much energy. I immediately switched my dogs food too. I have seen a big difference in their coat and energy. If your furbabies are having digestive issues, I recommend coming here and talk to the staff about changing to a holistic organic diet for them. Even if they do not have issues, still consider a holistic organic diet.I have also ordered dog/cat food online and had it delivered. The website is a little finicky, depending on what platform your using (mobile vs. Computer), but I have noticed some improvements. Overall, I had no issues with ordering and having the items delivered within the same day.
