Used their self serve dog wash and was quite impressed. The baths are pretty large and are elevated which makes it easy to rinse and bath your fur baby. The wash is equipped with different options of shampoos and conditioners. Adequate towels were provided during covid-19 pandemic as dryers were shut off. Over all clean and safe experience. This place is a scam, they give you 25 minutes for blow drying, for 18 dls, with my old English sheepdog or any kind of doodle that's not enough. I'm a professional pet groomer and it's dangerous to leave a dog wet.

I go often to pick up my dogs JustFoodForDogs brand frozen dog food. My boy loves it and if it makes him happy then the price doesn’t matter to me. The staff there is very friendly and helpful once you walk in the store they greet you ask if you need any help finding something. I shower my boy there often They give plenty of towels and on top of that the shower stations are very clean and I appreciate the courtesy towel and dog treat they leave at the station that is ready to use. Excellent job pet food express team thanks again👍🏼

The staff is friendly, engaging with personal experience with their products. Shared that all the products they sell are checked for lead, and they are careful what they import from other countries. They have a wide variety of canine treats and toys. Smaller store than the other name brand, but utilizing space, neatly organized in a way that they have a large variety inventory. Was impressed!! Will shop there again...did I say the staff..and I interacted with 5 of them, were friendly, knowledgeable, and polite!

Went hoping to get a harness/ collar for my small dog. Thinking that they were going to be more expensive here, compared to Walmart, but better quality. I was partially correct. Most of the harnesses were more expensive, but then I found a clearance section at the end of the main harness isle. I found a suitable harness that was 50% off. Only $5 at the register. When most harnesses were around $28-$35. It seemed like it might not be as high quality as the regular priced ones, but again, I was wrong. This thing is higher quality, evidenced by the fact that it is still in great shape after same period of time on my dog as the ones I got at Walmart for $25 and those by now had failed due to my dog knawing on it. The young lady that helped me was also super cute and friendly. Even though, going here meant that I had to deal with all of the congestion on Capitol Exp. It was worth it.

Took our dog here to utilize the on site dog cleaning/grooming facilities. Unfortunately the air dryer/blower wasn't working. Instead, the employees offered up extra towels.They only allow two stations to be used at any given time so there was plenty of room in the facilities. The soapy water suds up lightly and the rinse water has an adequate level of pressure to get the job done. Because the dryer function wasn't working, the extra towels helped and I think we were more conscious about drying the dog more thoroughly.The employees were friendly and helpful as usual.

My cat will only eat a specific brand of cat food that agrees with her sensitive digestive system. I have only been able to find it at Pet Food Express. The staff is very friendly & willing to special order it for me whenever I need it. They also call me when it comes onto the store. We also buy our Husky dog food there. Love their buy 3 get 4th free deals on most food too!

This used to be my local PFE but I moved out of town and recently returned to San Jose but not close enough to consider this local to me. I came here on a quest to find a certain dog food in a certain size and food type since my older puppy has been having stool issues ever since I've had him. Richie approached me and after explaining everything I've tried and what I was looking for, he made a recommendation that checked off every box (wasn't easy) so I'm thrilled to try this new food. He was really passionate and dedicated to helping me solve my food issue for my boy. Richie alone was worth the drive to this location.

I like this place. The employees are very nice & helpful. If there's something you can't find they will go out of their way to help you. The store is well-stocked & organized & they carry supplies for all different kinds of critters. They even have an area where you can wash your pets if you don't want to do that in your home. I feel some of the items are a little pricey however they're not out of range of a lot of other places. They also don't hassle you about returns. Or at least I haven't encountered that. One thing I don't like is that they close at 8 p.m. instead of 9 p.m. like the other chain pet supply stores, but, that's just a minor thing. I recommend this place to anyone who is thinking about stopping here or needs a go to place for your pet supply needs.

They pointed me in the right direction without any hesitation. They told me to go to Sam's down on San Carlos st. Or An Jan on Branham road. Much appreciated!

The whole staff is so knowledgeable on their products. We've been taking our furry daughter there since she was a pup and they remember her name and always ask about her and her health. Never do they sell you anything you don't need. Always get greeted when we walk in and walk up to us when we're at a loss.Everyone always have a smile and you can tell they enjoy there job. We've tried going to a pet store closer to our home, but their customer service was bad. Needles to say... We walked out as far as we could.It's a good feeling to know we're in good hands with Pet Food Express.Thank you Pet Food Express staff for all you do. 💞

these stores are awesome! I have never been to a pet related store where people are more helpful and friendly than they are here, and knowing that the food offered is always good quality for your pet and vetted by the owners really makes me happy. Add to that their buy 3 get 1 free policy, and it just can't be beat. I wouldn't go any place else for my dog and two cats!

Pet Food Express has the healthiest food you can feed your pets. They have an excellent selection of nutritious, real food. I shop for both my dog and my cat and the staff is extremely helpful whenever I have a question. They are all pet owners and lovers so I trust them fully! This location has other great programs too like the veterinary care on weekends, training programs, and adoption days. It's really a one-stop shop for pet owners!

Friendly, helpful staff at this location who would be happy to answer your questions. I occasionally come here for toys and bully sticks for my dog and every visit has been a pleasant one thus far. There's a shower area in the back to bathe your pet and towels are provided once paid for. On the weekends, they have a vet on duty in the mornings for shots and vaccines.

Friendly staff, Great place to get the best dog food. Have a wide variety of fresh food. If you are looking to give your pet a bath, just know that you can do it here and with no clean up needed. One thing is be prepared for the baths to be busy on the weekends.

great staff always welcomes us and our dog. they offer treats every time, but he's spoiled and only takes non biscuit treats. this place is the best to give your dog baths, it's so easy and for $15 for one or $45 for 4 I don't mind doing it myself. we only bathe him in between his grooming appointment to keep him clean while his fur grows. also they have every other pet thing you might need for all pets.
