Great store with pet supplies and self service pet wash. $18 for a pet wash. They provide 3 different shampoos, a commercial blow dryer, aprons and treats for your pet. They take walk-ins too. They have a buy 3 get one free wash deal as well. The staff are very polite, helpful and quick to respond. They do have a weighing scale as a bonus. It’s a great place altogether.

We frequent this store to use the self serve dog wash. You purchase tokens that you then put in the dog wash to start the water and air. Wish the machines just took credit cards instead of having to remember to bring the token pouch.Treats are pretty expensive here even with the big 3 get one free.They don't carry big brand labels, only grain free, raw and/or alternative diets.

Great selection of food for dogs and cats. Unlike most chains, Pet Food Express carries a lot of really good brands, including imports from Canada.If you have a dog, you can use the self-service area to wash your dog (for a fee). All in all, lots of great products and helpful staff.

I recently visited Pet Food Express with a heavy heart to return a food item following the passing of my beloved dog. What should have been a simple transaction turned into a disheartening encounter due to the lack of compassion displaved by the manager on duty, Jeanette.From the outset, I must commend Julius, the cashier, for his kindness and assistance during the return process. Despite the difficult circumstances, Julius showed empathy and understanding, which provided Some comfort during a challenging time.However, any solace I felt quickly dissipated upon interacting with Jeanette. When I explained my reason for returning the food- a painful reminder of my dog's recent passing Jeanette's response was shockingly cold and devoid of sympathy. Rather than offering comfort or understanding, she seemed indifferent to my grief, dismissing my emotional state with callous indifference.What struck me most was Jeanette's response to my inquiry about the gift card associated with the purchase. Given my circumstances, I explained that I could no longer use the gift card as intended.Instead of offering a solution or showing empathy, Jeanette suggested that I simply take the gift card and deal with it on my own. This lack of consideration for my situation was profoundly hurtful and left me feeling utterly dehumanized.As someone who works in a field that revolves around caring for pets and their owners, I expected Jeanette to demonstrate at least a modicum of compassion. However, her actions reflected a startling lack of empathy and understanding, making an already difficult situation even more distressing.in times of grief, small acts of kindness and understanding can make a world of difference. Unfortunately, Jeanette's behavior served as a stark reminder that not everyone possesses the basic empathy requiredto connect with others on a human level.[urge Pet Food Express to not only reevaluate their customer service protocols but also to provide additional training in empathy and compassion for their staff, particularly those in managerial positions like Jeanette. No pet owner should have to endure such inhumane treatment, especially during moments of profound sadness and loss.In conclusion, while Julius demonstrated exemplary customer service, Jeanette's lack of empathy and compassion left a lasting impression of disappointment and dismay. Pet Food Express has much room for improvement in fostering a culture of kindness and understanding towards their customers, especially during times of vulnerability and grief.

Pet wash is great but the water nozzle does not work as it should. Only spraying little water for a Shepard husky doesn't allow me to wash out the soap.

Lovely atmosphere. A bit cozy and tight with the isles and all, nevertheless they have ample items. The staff are quite knowledgeable, it's a bit tricky to get a hold of them. Nevertheless the staff will help you out with any of the questions you have. A bit on the pricey side but they have some rare brands which is totally worth it.

Omg! They have a dog washing station. Food selection is good. I just wish they had the furry cow ear or rabbit options as well. Otherwise, good spot for picking up the essentials.

I only buy kitty litter and Feline Greenies (when they're not on sale elsewhere) here but the selection of food/litter is good & the people are always nice. Plus it's inbetween Safeway & Total Wine so I can pretend I'm not just making up an excuse to buy beer.( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)

They seem to geniunely care for pets both big and small. My family arrived late and one of the workers there asked if we needed food and for what pet. My wife and I were amazed that this type of customer service still exists and that someone would go above and beyond for our leopard geckos! I'll definitely be back again soon! If only they'd stock up on more live reptile food..

Going here or any Pet Food Express location is always a nice experience. The employees are super friendly and kind. Always huge pet lovers. They'll talk with you about any questions or indecision you have and give their experience with the product.They're a big help and I've never had a bad experience at one. Good prices too, especially with the buy 3 get the 4th free (works out to 25% off if you buy 4)

Twice now I've bought something online for delivery the next day, the transaction is accepted and I'm contacted the next day saying they are out of stock. Then it takes a day or 2 to refund my money to my card. Just a hassle to me.too bad as I like their staff, their store and products, it's just the online ordering that never goes right.

I had never been to a Pet Food Express before. Great selection of more boutiquy type foods and treats. Very clean environment. They have a dog eat station that looked well maintained. The lady who checked us out was fabulous. Loved her. So nice!

First time here, and I love it! Our old dog had not been eating lately, so I had to look for alternative dog food. They carry a wonderful selection of pet foods, many that you won't find at the bigger chains. Healthy, highly nutritional, and my picky dog eats it! Plus the staff is amazingly friendly and knowledgeable! They are definitely pet lovers and know what they are taking about. I recommend that you order online and pick up curbside, although they do allow in-store shopping too. Definitely recommend them!

Brought in my dog and the staff loved her. Not the biggest selection of dog food but has more specialized foods. My dog is picky with treats but loved the ones we got from here. You can even pay a small fee to wash your pet here.

Decent supply of all the basics for a small store. Staff is always super friendly. Dog wash station is reasonably priced and clean plus they supply everything. Fresh/frozen meals available for a great price. Several stores and restuarants in the same shopping center so it's fairly convenient. Only thing they need is a dog potty area to make it complete!

Pet food express have some of the affordable high end pet food brands in the market. They also have freshly made wet food for dogs. Some weekends will have cat adoption event. The staffs are always welcoming and helpful. Still remember 3 years ago we just had our cat and the staff explained thoroughly about the difference of each brands, ingredients, and different type of canned food. Oh and Buy 3 get fourth free is awesome, saves a ton if you got more at once.

Very friendly staff. Store isn't huge so inventory isn't exactly comprehensive, but they carry a decent assortment of dog foods and treats. Tends toward the medium-sized boutique brands and don't carry as many of the major brands like Purina.

I've been washing my dog here for around 3 years and nearly alwyas had a good experience. But when I came in last week on Thursday I lost faith in this place. I have an old dog who does not like driving anymore and taking her even for 10 mins drive is a pain. The store hours marked as till 8 pm, when I came in at 7:40 I was told the pet wash is closed as it closes at 7:30. I told that its a pain to drive with my dog and that it would not take more than 15 minutes to wash her. I still got a refusion. The manager guy did not show any understanding of the situation. And did not let me wash my dog.The girls in the store are nice but not this guy.I will never use this store and would not use this company but I have few pet wash coins left so will go to another one to use them out.Highly not recommend!

This is the worst site for finding a pet. First, people who advertise their pets do not answer your applications and this site does absolutely nothing about it. They say they have no way to? How irresponsible is that? So you are left hanging for weeks not knowing anything. They use the excuse that the people looking for homes for pets "are not a good fit" and to give them time to respond. Everyone is having difficulties of one sort or another and this is no logic for not responding to applications. I thought the whole objective here was to find homes for the animals. They give you a phone number to call yet all they do is tell you to email them and then you do and they just give you generic answers which are always basically that they cannot do anything about helping you find a pet or dealing with an application you submitted. There are many shelters whose pets wind up on this site as well so you are better off contacting the shelter on your own instead of going through this website. All of the negative reviews do not seem to matter to them either and I can't understand why someone isn't shutting them down. Save yourself the frustration and pain and avoid using them. And when I showed up their so called boss "Laurie Melo" was extremly rude and raised her voice and didnt let me even consider getting a pair of kittens adopted

While on the smaller side, the store was clean and well organized. Both staff members were super friendly and helpful. They even gave us a normal sized free sample of a kitten food we were thinking of trying. I would shop here again.
