This is a great place if you’re a huge goldfish/koi hobbyist. The fish looks healthy and beautiful. Many of them even have certificates to prove their awesome lineage. They’re like champion-grade. Amateurs may find the fish too expensive here, but experts will know their worth.

Kevin was so nice and VERY informative!! He educated us with so much information our heads were spinning.! IN A GOOD WAY lolWe bought a beautiful fantail to add to our goldfish tank and he is beautiful and HEALTHY. Like most reviews I've read about this place don't expect Petco prices. This is definitely a place for advanced goldfish enthusiasts!! Definitely going back!!l

I have visited a good amount of pet/fish stores, but none of them had amazing and unique goldfish like they do! I have been searching for places around the East Bay for Oranda goldfish and Ranchu goldfish, and I was so great full to have found this place! It’s quite a drive, but completely worth it. Their fish are in great quality. They have unique looking goldfish and their koi fish are HUGE!! If you’re looking for a new hobby during quarantine, say no more, fam.

This is definitely your go to spot for your high end/ top quality goldfish and koi. While I mainly checked the goldfish section they have a large variety of koi ranging in various sizes but back to the goldfish, he has ryukins, ranchus and orandas in various sizes/colors and again, they all look very healthy and and come in various colors. As of right now I'm not quite ready to buy them since I have to get my aquariums ready and prepped but once i do ill definitely come here to pick some up.

Very nice store with high quality koi and goldfish. Apparently they also quarantine all fish for about a month before making it available. Nice show quality fish that made my original goldfish pale in comparison. Can’t find anything like them anywhere else. Kind and knowledgeable owner/employees.

Travelled over 2 hours to visit their selection of high end show quality Ranchus and also to see their amazing Koi tanks. Very knowledgeable staff, friendly, and patient. Would definitely shop here again and recommend for anyone specifically into koi and goldfish. You don't get this level of expertise within the hobby for other fish stores that cater to all types of fish keeping.

The quality of these koi and goldfish are prestine. Prices for koi can range from 50 to almost 5 thousand but it worth the price. Their gold fish can range from 60 to 150 but all these fish are pretty healthy and can't get any better quality fish like this

I went here looking for quality fancy goldfish. I was not disappointed! There isn’t a huge variety of choices, mostly Orandas and Ranchus and a few ryukins, but the size and quality of the fish were excellent. The owner was very helpful and enjoyed talking about the fish he had. Most of the fish he has are show quality and at least 4”-5”, so don’t expect pet shop pricing. I brought two orandas home, and they are healthy, active, and absolutely stunning!

I have more than half of my goldfish collection of from this store. The fish are healthy strong and beautiful. This is a store for advanced fish keepers. However, the best quality and selection come with a price, so don't go to that store with the pet smart prices in mind.

Lots of koi here, and a lot of experienced people to help you with pond problems. Prices are all good for brick and mortar store, and they have everything you need to maintain or fix your pond problems. I've also bought 10 fish here with no disease problems unlike other dealers (I wouldn't buy fish from Petco again, 1 diseased fish can end up killing all your established fish. Happened to me). These guys don't mind spending time with you, and great selection of koi and others.

I recently had my first Koi pond built about a week ago. Water delivered and treate... ready for fish. I initially went to another Koi fish retailer in San Jose since it was closer. I spent a total of 15 to 20 minutes there and not one of the five employees there bothered to check on us. I then headed over to Genki Nishikigoi Koi. Bill was beyond helpful and super knowledge. He went out of his way to point out all the detail and nuances of the fish I purchased and made me and my daughter feel like home. My experience there was awesome. Needless to say Genki Nishikigoi has earned a customer for life.

There's 6 free Chargepoint chargers in a parking lot near several warehouses. Some with storefront entrances. The guy working in this particular one was very nice to my girlfriend and let her use the restroom. I know a lot about pond scum, troglodytes et all not much about pond fish though. Good folks is good folks and these is damn solid in my regard. A sincere thank you to the middle aged Asian guy with glasses. Thank you

He had the filtration basket I needed to repair my setup, even though I required less common size with 2" connections. His price was slightly higher than the competition, but his baskets are Teton brand, made in the USA, and seem to have much more complete connections. Also, he kindly took the time to show me how to put it all together, twice, and made sure all the components were in the box prior to letting me walk out the door. They have a "no refund" policy on returns, English is a bit of a barrier, and there was some time wasted while he berated me for not knowing how many gallons my tank was -- haha, so I deducted one star, but overall happy with this place.
