I shopped on Friday March 29 I'm a regular here and usually the lines are long and 2-3 registers/cashiers open. I met a new employee Joe! Dude is fast pace and knows what his doing. His very social and very helpful. It's amazing to have another register open offsetting long lines and putting cashier's into stress.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is clean and organized. Prices are not the lowest BUT not as high as other markets. Highly recommend patronizing this store.

7:30 pm 21 customers in line for cashier, line stretches all the way to the back wall of the store. Only one cashier open, self checkout closed early, as it always does at this location. Employees don't seem to care. Plenty of employees visible working on cash registers, but they are all "closed". No one will open another check stand despite 20 plus customers in line. It feels like the employees hate the customers.

Walked in had only 2 items and had too wait behind 2 people after I was already at the front of the line. With all that taking she was doing she could’ve scanned my items in less Dan a minute and went off with her day, Cyntia gotta control herself with all that talking, and do dat scanning.

I've gone here twice and was disappointed with their produce each time. The strawberries are on the edge, and some have already sprouted mold. The rest of the store is clean and organized.

The service is horrible, the place is very dirty hopefully some one pay attention to this comment for a future customers. Cause I will never go back to this place or location I prefer to pay a little more back shop in a clean market place.

My dad went into FoodMaxx because nobody can seem to beat their price on the Mexican bread. The Mexican bread at Cardenas is sold for different prices and FoodMaxx Mexican bread prices are more economical in town.....i observed a busy parking lot though.....plan to visit th store again!10.2020 my first visit in over 12+ years...loved it! Cashier/Cyntia was knd n helpful. Thanks 4 great customer service Cyn♡Great produce& prices.

The hours of operation need to change in this posting. They close at midnight Monday through Sunday.UPDATE 11/27/23:This is the worst location of FoodMaxx to shopping for people of African American descent. Of any descent, other than Asian and latin! I can barely find islands that appeal to my shopping needs! The customer service is non-existent, and there are barely registers open. Including the self-checkout, which has specific payment parameters. I would suggest finding another store in another part of town that appeals more to American culture.

I was in and out this store isn't never crowded. Good service. Fair prices. No long lines.they always have everything. Wheelchair accessible. Clean.

The store was clean but the shelves were kinda empty. The store was empty so the lines were quick and the employees were so friendly!Overall: Foodmax has more of that "feel good vibe to it" as opposed to Safeway stores making it feel like your shopping at the police station! Plus the produce is great here!

Just went there to buy,this place offers the worst cashiers in this area,once you done with the purchse they dont got the courtecy to push the items to the bell,i got to do my own bagging because the cashiers was sooooo distracted with a girl,this happen at 10: 45 pm ,there was one lane open ,teach your peolple to say hello to every customer,i went there to buy.

Lower prices than bougey stores. Nice employees and good customer service. Rowena is the extremely knowledgeable and efficient cashier with a friendly attitude and a great smile. Some Vegan products. Good produce.

I like going here for a wide variety of boxed and frozen goods, since they have a wide selection. They also have a nice ethnic section with a great deal of variety there too, even if it's not as detailed as a store devoted to one particular ethnicity. I find their meats a little too fatty, however, so I usually get meat elsewhere. Their fruits and veggies are pretty nice, though. The people are usually helpful and friendly, and I simply plan ahead for the occasionally long lines at the register. On the whole, definitely a good place to go for regular goods.

Today it was ok but yesterday there were customers in the store with no mask. I told one of the associates but it seemed like it want a big deal. We all need to do our part to keep everyone safe.

Not enough clerks at registers, each time I shop, we're always in long lines.. & plus needs to keep up on exasperation Dates on meats pastries, & Not to repackage cut or alter & place back out with a new exp,date on it..please !!!

The store agents have many issues dealing with customers and using common sense "Just my opinion!". The employees are immature and have to take some time to grow up.. And yes the store totally changed. You really have to search for what you want

I go to this store at least once a week. The produce department is well taken care of. I rarely find any vegetable or fruit that has expired from freshness.There is one cashier named Daniel who is great at customer interaction. He greats you and thanks you after ringing you up. And the best thing is he doesnt rush you through when paying or packing up your own groceries.The bathroom needs tending to. Never any paper towels and the hand dryer rarely works even at itsMinimal capacity.

It's Lucky with a discount and a rougher look. They run out of things a little more often than regular Lucky stores, but the produce is nice, and paying less is always a good thing. The parking lot can get competitive, and there are people out there selling produce of their own.

Very much like a costco. Don't expect high quality or freshest produce and food. After all it is a discounted grocery chain. However they sell everything at a reasonable price for the average quality. Also I like that they are a good family size portion compare to the giant catering size from Costco.

You need to pay your employees more,today at 1:30 Feb 16 I bought 10 bags and the cashier at the self checkout put the money in his pocket, sad he can get fire for 1 dollar

This place always has the longest lines. It's not that they are packed but tend to have only 1 checker open and 2 during there peak hours. It's a typical grocery store but has no deli department and a very tiny bakery. I always forget that this is onsite. They are a very basic grocery store as they dont tend to have a variety of or specialty items. At times they lack having big box name brands but rather more focused around off name brands. However, they will have fabulous deals on high priced items such as frozen shrimp. I'm assuming it is due to the lack of actual consumer purchasing. This typcally in turn lead to the item no longer available or being sold. One of the perks I absolutely love is the spray down and wipe down of the carts upon entering. I have a little one that sits in the cart not cart seat and they always do a 2nd round for me. This service is not always available appearing only during the daylight hours.

Well'People have to get the Six 6 ft. Separation in line and the walk about . , people are still rushing not focusing or seems like some sort of outer distraction , most part peopls seems to be trying to adjust to new proto calls? I love foodmaxx. Prices are competitive to Walmart and Costco. Only downside is that just about every cashier is surly. I will let it slide b/c I've cashiered for years, and customers' are horrible. But, they can at least fake a smile, say hello, and good bye. If I get one of those, I'll be impressed here ...then again, I understand 8√)

It was well stocked. And even when the cashier made a mistake and didn't give me that right amount of an item that I asked her for, she wasn't too happy but she remained polite and professional.
