Nice store to shop for inexpensive items like plastic forks and paper plates. It’s well organized here compared to other Dollar Tree stores.They even sell gift cards here too but you may need to put more than $1.50 to buy something decent like a burger or coffee.

I used to frequent here 5 or 8 years ago because it was beautiful. I visited on 2/13/24 at past 9 PM & was bit disappointed. Also there was a long line until past 10 PM.P.S.The smell of the restroom was so strong that I almost threw up.

I recently visited Dollar Tree in search of Christmas ornaments, hoping to find the specific ones I had seen on their website. Unfortunately, the selection in-store didn't quite match up to my expectations, and I had to settle for some other types of ornaments.Upon arriving in the evening, I was greeted by a rather unusual scene – the parking lot was filled with San Jose Police cars. It seemed that an incident had occurred before my arrival, leading to the detention of an individual at the front door. While this unexpected situation didn't directly impact my shopping experience, it did add an element of concern and unease.The disappointment in the Christmas section prompted me to explore the rest of the store, where I stumbled upon a silver lining. Dollar Tree surprisingly offered a variety of kitchen items that caught my attention. From basic utensils to quirky kitchen gadgets, the selection was surprisingly diverse and reasonably priced. This unexpected find partially redeemed my shopping experience and turned a potential letdown into a more positive outcome.Despite the initial setback in the Christmas ornament department and the unusual police presence, the overall variety of products available at Dollar Tree, especially in the kitchen section, provided some value to my visit. While the Christmas shopping experience fell short of expectations, the store's diverse offerings outside the holiday section made the trip worthwhile.

Shopping here is a bit of a fun mess. Everything is one dollar, so it is easy try new things. The staff at this particular store on Capitol Ave. in San Jose make a good effort at customer service.

This store is pretty huge compared to their other stores. Standard daily stuff you can get. Clean and well organized. Plenty of parking available as it is located in the huge shopping complex. Great location, friendly staff. Lots of things to explore. Many things that you haven't thought of getting here in $1.

Usually service is good. But today there were 3 massive lines at around 2pm....I waited 20- 30 minutes before it occurred to someone to open a 4th register. Plus the new guy at the register#3(?) was incredibly slow, and could care less about his job. Look, I get it that the dollar tree is not glamorous and this might be your first job, but the indifferent attitude just made it worse. Going from bad to worse just upsets people. Next time I'll just ditch my stuff than wait 20-30 minutes again.

The best place to shop. The night manager is so knowledgeable and patient. All the employees here have a very pleasant attitude. The prices are unbelievable for name brand products that cost twice as much elsewhere. A truly bilingual store. Even the Vietnamese employees offered me a bag in Spanish! Never ending aisle with a variety to choose from. All in all the lighthearted atmosphere and amazing deals will have me coming back again and again.

OMG! What A Mess! I don't know what has happened recently within the store, but it looks like they have all new employees working there now or they really don't care what the store looks like. Some areas are empty, while others are jammed pack.And as for the restroom HEALTH HAZARD!!!

There's a lot and there's also not much. There's usually only 2 checkouts if you're lucky maybe 3. I haven't seen more than that. You can find most things and they've def have become more organized than the last time I was there.

I went here specifically to see it they had some inexpensive paint brushes. I was impressed with the selection and the quality of the $1 paint brushes. Hard to pay $12 at the big box guys when I can get these for $1 each.

This Dollar Tree is HUGE!! It's the mega-outlet version of this chain, in the same vein as the biggest, buy-everything-under-the-sun versions of Walmart and Target.The center of the store is mostly snack foods and impulse buys, with the *look, it's got of every version of every Dollar Tree I've ever seen, and MORE!!" kind of going on constantly throughout. Like seriously, products galore, and the whole inventory being priced at exactly $1 just makes the whole thing more staggering.I compulsively walked every aisle to get acquainted with everything. I don't think I need to do that again unless I need some Doritos or scented candles--but the rest of the store is filled with gold!P.S. I admit to liking the Dollar Tree version of Pop Tarts. Honestly, I can't taste the difference :)

This Dollar Tree location is an older one. It needs some love, some fresh paint and some power washing would help too.The lines are long as usual because there are not enough registers open. The employees look stressed out so they are not the friendliest bunch.

This is a large Dollar Tree store. Great selection of items for only $1. The staff was friendly and helpful. I came here for eye classes and a few other items... You'll always find a good deal here.

Bought 50 plastic totes w/lid, 9 were cracked, oh, no returns due to CoVad19 and was told the customer is responsible in verifying the " product " b4 purchasing! That's good to know as next time I shop there I'll be sure to open the many cookies and treats... to verify the " product " meets my taste expectations.

Sometimes we all need batteries or something from the dollar store this one is not my favorite. It's not overly dirty but not overly clean they have the typical stuff that you normally would find but the lines get really jammed up and there's no Management in sight so if the lines are short and get what you need the lines a little longer it might take a while

Great store found everything I wanted until I had to pay. I didn't have any change except a $100 dollar bill. Carina or whatever her name was ask "do you have anything lower then this" I replied no and she shook her head. Once she give me back my change she shoved it my wallet rudely and told me next time "you should get a bank account." Dollar tress did not have any policy about 100 dollar bills well at least I didn't see it. I called back to complain to the manager and the girl was like there's no manager here until Monday. Shouldn't you always have a manger? Horrible employees. Carina I'm a 15 years old girl I get my money from babysitting. Pick on someone your age, you work at dollar tree you should change your ugly attitidude before you get fired.

I initially went in to see if they had sweaters because I was cold and didn't wanna go all the way home . Although the dont have sweaters or clothing in general other than socks, they had just about everything else. I almost bought arts and crafts things but I thought to myself next time. I can always find a deal on something I want at Dollar tree for a dollar. I get packaged fruit and nuts munchies for the movies. Just found some smallish 7 watt LED light bulbs for...you guessed it, a dollar 💲I saw a lot of people buying holiday wrapping paper for a dollar! I'm sure you can find deals here. Just take dollars.

Awesome place! Lots of parking. Only downfall is Not enough GROCERY baskets..but great place for ANYONE on a budget! Lots of holiday items. This place is PERFECT for all your party or wedding shower needs! GREAT!

What more can you expect from a dollar tree store? They're always stocked up on items I go there for and I've never had a problem with their employees, so there's nothing to complain about from me.

I am new in the bay area, most of the stores I went to made me pay 10 cents for a bag. This dollar tree surprised me with free nice / high quality bags, this is the way America is all about, I sure will try to come back here to shop again and again. People in this area trying to make us like European or other countries, like charging for bags and bathroom use, My favorit places like grocery outlet next door and Mi Pueblo now also charge for bags, so I try to avoid them. I don't give my business to stores charging for bags. Go Dollar Tree for serving America like you supposed to. You deserved Five Stars.

I know you guys are underpayed but 'hey' think positively even though its not Also you need to tell your customers social distance. Thisone old lady cutted in front of me . Thats not right.
