Our puppies were seen here from when we adopted them as 9 week old puppies to a year and some months. This is where they got spayed & neutered, vaccines, & any issues that came up. For timely issues, they were able to see them within a few days/same day if needed. Staff is always super friendly and the vets were able to answer our questions. We don’t have pics of when they were visiting the clinic but here is so cuteness. Luna & PB were taken care of by Curtner Pet Clinic staff! Thank you!

I took my older dog there who was experiencing some problems related to old age. The service is just ok for the cost of the extremely expensive procedures. They also said they would call me back, but they never did. I would always have to call them to get updates. The online system is also trash as well. What takes the cake is when I had to unexpectedly put my dog down. Emotions were running high and I remember the vet assistant describing the options for cremation as “an urn or no urn”. I was crying my eyes out and could barely comprehend what the vets were saying, so when I asked her the options and she kept saying, “it’s an urn or no urn” I took that to mean we would still get the ashes, just not the urn. Fast forward some time as it turns out “no urn” means no ashes at all. They definitely need to work on their wording when presenting these options and make sure people in grief understand. All in all I won’t be bringing any of my new pets here after this experience.

Like any place, there are challenges at times, nothing out of the way. However having changed many Vet clinics I can say they are lot better than most In service, price, etc. They seem to care for the pet. I wish I knew them before, avoiding other money oriented clinics. I only hope they keep caring, moving forward.

Last week I was at the clinic for my 1yr old cat Kalea. I was greeted by the most friendly and enthusiastic employee Jackie. She is wonderful with her happy personality. She checks you in and answers any questions you might have. Love her!! I met Dr. Singh for the first time and he was so good with Kalea. She can be a bit difficult but he was able to calm her down. He did all he was suppose to do for her yearly check up, asked all the right questions and checked her ears. I was so happy with his professional knowledge and attitude. Then there was Norma the vet tech. What a sweetheart!! She was able to clip Kalea's nails which is very difficult to do. She gave her all her vaccinations and explained questions that I had asked her with so much knowledge. She is a true professional. All in All, what a great team. You do have to wait for sometime with your appointment due to them being so busy, but it is worth the wait.

If you have similar symptoms like my dog, don't go here. They are not helpful at all! Taking my dog in as shown in the picture, instead of providing a solution to my dog allergy, I was told to stop giving my dog human food like chicken, carrot, salmon, and rice. Then he only recommends to buy sensitive dog food.I asked him twice if it's ringworm on my dog, and he said no, just allergy.My dog has terrible allergies and skin rashes, and now it's getting worse like in my last updated photo.Not being able to discuss face to face with the doctor is very unpleasant because I can't tell if they take the time to exam my dog or not; it's all about repeating words over my concern of the day for my dog and my dog history.They cannot diagnose what type of allergy she has, and they repeated based on her previous allergy result and repeatedly said she has a big allergy problem. And all I need to do is to provide my dog with a good diet and monitor her.There, my $58 buck is gone.Her rashes keep on developing, and diarrhea reoccurring every other week.I hope I can find a good veterinarian soon.Well, the picture speaks it all; if you have similar symptoms like my dog, go elsewhere.

I have not yet had a visit, however Jackie seemed to be knowledgeable, friendly and EXTREMELY helpful regarding information, tips and what the clinic offers for my 3 week old kitten. Answered all my questions very clearly and patiently. Thank you ! (Looking forward to bringing my pet to this location when she turns ~8 weeks)

Horrible experience with DR.Rami he was really rude and disrespectful. He threw my dog which had a fractured leg onto the table and told me to leave. Beforehand I had tried to explain what had happened to my dogs leg and he rudely told me to shush. This is going to corporate and hopefully they get better customer service. I’ve been at this vet for 3 years and this is the first time I’ve had a problem. It’s the first time I had him as a doctor as well. He should not treat anyone like that especially when they’re paying for service.

This was our first visit and everyone at the pet hospital was great. You can tell they love animals. We had an appointment for 10:15 for checkups and shots for our puppies. After waiting for an hour in the waiting room, I finally asked the young lady at the desk why we hadn't been seen as the puppies were getting restless. Apparently, the doctor had an emergency, and we would be helped in a few minutes. Finally, the doctor came in, apologized for the long wait, and gave them their checkups. We then waited for her assistant to come and take the puppies for their shots. We left the hospital at 12:30. I'm giving a three out of five for the long wait. The doctor and all of the staff, I would give them a five.

A stray kitten came to our patio one day and stay there for days. We decided to take her to the Curtner Pet Clinic to help us find out if she had a chip and if not, to give her the necessary shots. Dr. Rubin and the whole staff have been very helpful from the beginning and we are glad to have found this place. Luna is now part of our family and we have that peace of mind that we know who to contact in case something happens to her. We highly recommend this clinic.

All of the staff and Vet techs are so very kind and caring. Every time we go in everyone is very welcoming, and wants to say hi to our pup/remembers her name! They care so much for our puppy! For any procedures we take our Chi in for, everyone is always so helpful and answers all of our questions. We’ve been taking Catalina to Curtner Pet Clinic, since day one… and plan to keep it that way for anything our baby needs. The amount of care this clinic puts in for their patients/ our pup is more than any Vet I’ve been to in the past… hands down! Couldn’t be happier with how they treat & care for our baby Catalina.

I've been taking my pets to Curtner Pet Clinic for over a year after moving to San Jose. Years of a wonderful vet in my former hometown had made me nervous, but luckily I found Curtner Pet Clinic! The vets and staff are all wonderful. They have a professional and compassionate approach, there are appointments readily available at a variety of hours (including after work!), and they take great care of my pets. I couldn't ask for more!

Our dog got skin problems and we wasted over hundreds bucks in other clinic without any results. It’s Curtner Clinic solved this problem and our dog fully recovered. I am highly recommended curtner pet clinic!

My dog had skin issue and I took him to the pet clinic inside curtner petsmart for a treatment, what they did is just hair shaving the hot spot. The adorable golden was in miseralbe situation just out of their operation room. He was terrified and seems in big pain from razer rash or sprays with alcohol. He won't stand up, can barely walk normally. What he only want to do is to lay down and lick his wound(he wear a cone).What make this worse is the doctor's prescription is with a bottle of antibiotic spray which contains alchole and some antibiotic pill.I walked my dog the same morning and he barely feel the itching or pain form those small wound on his under belly and the starting of his tail.For the rest of the day he didn't walk and pee. Every time we were trying to encourage him to walk for one or two steps, he looked painful and laid down instantly. It was followed by a sleepless night. He did't pee until 6 am the 2nd morning.This visit actually made him much much worse. I don't expect the vet doctor can help us out of this situation without our own effort. But it did reflect their carelessness, improfessional, or even animal abuse.Some hindersight:1. My dog's skin could be sensitive to sharp razer or sprays with alcohol. No pain killer pill or pain relief spary was presceipted.2. How did they make razer hair shaving, I can't imagine. He was in deep fear during our 2nd day visit.

They took such good care of my dog! He is a rescue and is anxious around new people. They were patient and gentle with him and were kind to me too.Having the vet inside a pet store ended up being super beneficial for us. It really helped calm my dog down. They also have a location around the side of the building fyi.

Update: (2023/09/30) Dr. Dadwal really treats his patients (animals and humans) with respect, care, and dedication. He took time to explain the test results, options, possible plans. He also listens to my concerns and my questions. Dr. Dadwal cares about his patients from his heart and wants to do the best for his patients.They care about the wellness of the animals. My three animals (a senior cat, a senior dog, and a young punky cat) have been under the care of the Curtner Pet Clinic team for more than 3 years. They always took time to explain treatment options with me, they do not do unnecessary procedures, they communicate with the emergency vet and follow up when my animals had emergency, and they took time to be there with me when there were challenging news. There will always differences in opinions or communication styles between humans (i.e., me and the Vet and staff), but I respect how they always put the wellness of our animals first. Thank you for helping me to be there for my animals.

I do like this clinic, affordable and they have good vets. But it’s the first place I’ve been to that takes 3days or more to process prescriptions bought online. Ordered something 4days ago and they can’t “guarantee” they’ll get around to approving it today. The prescription is $30 less to buy online than there. Not sure if they’re trying to encourage buying in-house this way

I've been here for my dog and my cat and both times the doctors, techs and staff were really welcoming, knowledgeable, and very courteous about pricing. The costs are reasonable and they break down all charges for you and let you know what is seriously needed versus what could be cut if you need to budget. That kind of awareness around how difficult it can be to afford vet (hell human too) health care makes the experience less stressful for you and probably your pet too. They are good about following up and make you and your animals feel cared for. I love this clinic.

Always take good care of my pup. The doctors are really attentive and knowledgeable. Sometimes the front desk could be more professional (they have one main gal that works during the day that is good). Costs are fair and they are always upfront and allow you to make decisions before executing anything. They do a great job of building trust with the client while still trying to cater to everyone’s needs as an incredibly busy location. It is a further drive than some of the vets in my area, but well worth it

Great experience and great people at the Curtner Pet Clinic. Prices are reasonable for pet care, but does not sacrifice quality. I could tell they love our 4 cats! Facilities are clean and the doc's are smart. When my cat was sick, the Vet spoke with me on the phone for 30 minutes to answer all my questions and help calm my anxiety and medication. They really do care.
