DO NOT COME HEREI really feel like this place is a scam for money instead of genuinely caring for your pet.My 3-month puppy got sick and started to having diarrhea and vomiting. As a first time dog parent I of course panicked and took him to this ER. After waiting for an hour in the treatment room finally got to see a vet and he's first reaction is that your puppy probably has parvo and we need to test. Parvo is serious so I proceeded with testing (Parvo test for over $300) and he came back saying he tested positive and needs to be hospitalized. The bill he presented is almost $8000 (first pic) for 6 hours of hospitalization!I was very scared but still did some Google search that my dog doesn't seem as sick as usually parvo symptoms show and Internet said typical treatment is about $1-2k depends on where you are. While I'm thinking if I should proceed with the $8k treatment the assistant came into the room three times to rush me to sign the paper. And at the same time guilt trip me saying that if I don't do anything my puppy is going to die.Luckily it's like 5:50pm my primary vet is still not close so I was able to get a hold of her on the phone. She said my puppy just got parvo vaccine the five days before and of course a PCR parvo test is likely to be positive ( we all know how covid PCR test works now), so she advised me to take him to her office the next morning.Overnight he's actually getting better and the next morning 8am I took him to the vet and by first judgement my vet told me he's unlikely to have parvo because his energy level is still high. He's probably just suffering from dehydration from diarrhea. Since I was super concerned about parvo, she said she can still do the parvo treatment by giving some IV fluid and the cost came down to less than $1000 including 12 hours of IV and all the medications I took home ( you can see the medication they prescribed is almost identical, except this scam place charges 8X more to praying on your fear and love for you puppies), plus they were kind to give him additional IV the day after to make sure he's fully recovered. So long story short: do not come here.

These are the friendliest and most accommodating veterinarians and staff I've ever come across. We've never had a problem making an appointment; we were even able to bring our dog in right away for what I thought was her ingesting some illegal substance while on a walk on the 3 Creeks bike path. They saw us right away and the cost for the whole experience was reasonable. The only issue I have (and why not 5 stars) is that they won't write prescriptions for preventative drugs like Heartguard or Bravecto so you can buy them at a pharmacy.

For over 8 years now, my two dog's have been under the exceptional care of Dr. Solomon and the dedicated team @ARCHVET. Despite the distance, I willingly make the 1hr and 20-minute commute each way because nothing is more important than ensuring my pets receive the highest standard of veterinary care.Dr. Solomon's unwavering commitment to his patients extends far beyond the clinic's walls. I've experienced first-hand his unparalleled dedication, even responding to my messages during late weekend nights, when I had specific concerns about a particular issue with one of my dogs.Dr. Solomon and his staff have consistently surpassed my expectations, providing unparalleled care and compassion to my fur babies and me over the years. Thank you, ARCHVET, for your unwavering dedication and for being a beacon of excellence in veterinary care!

Dr Solomon was fantastic! I brought my 20 yr cat who had a dental abscess and a seizure on the table. He totally appreciated my not wanting to go above and beyond and was willing to treat the obvious. Great overall experience. I would highly recommend Arch Vet.

We had a wonderful experience as a new client at ArchVet. The staff was welcoming and friendly and Dr. Kong was very gentle and thorough with the exam. Our Dottie was treated with great care. We have found our new vet!

We seriously LOVE arch vet! It’s the only place we bring our beloved cat. It’s super clean, everyone is always nice, they are open late and we’ve never had an issue getting an urgent or quick appt. We called today and got in today for a non urgent issue. I genuinely wish this place was also my doctors office.

I recently brought my cat to this vet, hoping to get help. However, I left feeling utterly frustrated and ripped off.Firstly, they couldn't even diagnose my cat's problem correctly. Initially, they believed it was something he ate and administered a cerenia injection, which only made him worse. The next day, they changed their diagnosis to a urinary blockage, after charging a whopping 17k for their services.Despite their assurance that my cat would be fine after being checked at 1 am, the problem persisted as soon as we got home. He couldn't pee at all! We had to rush him to another vet the next morning, who confirmed the urinary blockage. Not only did they fail to resolve the issue, but they also overcharged us significantly. It's outrageous that they would take advantage of pet owners in such vulnerable situations. We ended up having to hospitalize our cat again elsewhere, for only 2k.Overall, this experience felt like a complete scam. I strongly advise against wasting your money on this vet. They're incompetent, overpriced, and clearly prioritize profit over the well-being of animals. Avoid at all costs!

I have been coming to this vet since 2021, when the pandemic was at is peak this was the only veterinary that had available appointments for our three dogs. I am so happy I did. I am very grateful for the veterinarians here Dr Solomon, Dr Mcbirney and Dr Saggi.Unfortunately, since then two of our beloved pets have passed away, Bella and Balto. More recently we have been seeing Dr Saggi for Lobito’s kidney disease.Dr Saggi has been amazing walking us through lobitos treatment. I really enjoy that he takes the time to answer all my questions, generally I have a lot of anxiety and feeling as if I am being heard really helps during Lobitos check ups. Additionally, in our most recent check up our vet tech Rachel ( I hope I remembered the correct name)was amazing, again I am very big in feeling like I am being heard and getting all my questions answered and she did just that. Thank you so much Arch vet for being there for Bella and Balto and for continuing to be here for Lobito. I am so happy to have found this amazing staff.

Always good service. We thought our senior dog was going to need to be put down after he had disk problems in his neck and they were able to save him without surgery! He’s back to being a normal happy dog.

I’d suggest you read about my experience before you visit this vet. Even if you are fine with paying extra, this vet absolutely does not care about your pet’s health. They will prescribe and suggest medicines and methods that can seriously endanger your pet’s health, all because they want to earn a larger fee.I’ve been a regular customer at Archvet. Despite their unreasonable prices, I favored this vet due to the availability of appointments. I’d suggest you avoid this vet at all costs. Drive further if you must, wait longer for an appointment if necessary, but do not compromise your pet's health for the sake of convenience. Don’t make the same mistake I did.My cat had a bit of excessive eye discharge for the past 2 days, so I wanted to get it checked. The doctor observed my cat for approximately 3 minutes from a distance of 4 feet, hands in her pockets. She said, "I see there’s something going on with his eyes," then said, "I’ll be right back with you," and left the room. A nurse returned after 10 minutes with a bill for $1,000, explaining we needed to do an eye examination by looking into the cat's eye with an ophthalmoscope (if that’s what is called) to diagnose the issue. But this would require sedating the cat, then examining the eye, followed by a complex process of sedation reversal!!! All the while my cat was napping on the table, not even bothering to make any noise. He was half asleep!Administering anesthesia for a minor eye exam? ARE YOU OKAY?When I declined and requested to speak with the doctor, I was told I wasn’t allowed to ask any questions or talk to the doctor unless I signed the bill. I declined again, was so upset, and prepared to leave. Then, the doctor came back, saw our distress, and offered to conduct the examination if I held the cat myself. I held my cat with a towel, and she told me to apply a green-colored eye drop for some fluorescent light protection, asking me to keep his eyes open due to irritation. She remained 4 feet away, not touching my cat, and used the ophthalmoscope with that distance! How do you even see anything? I felt like I was in some comic show and someone is going to jump and say this is a prank! It was just that insane. Then she prescribed a light antibiotic drop and said we were good to go.The nurse came back a different bill after a few minutes. The pricing and how it changed in less than an hour was just hilarious. It seemed they were making up numbers on the spot: visit fees, exam fees, and even the eye corneal stain had different prices in the two bills, issued less than 30 minutes apart. I attached both.Throughout this ordeal, I was extremely frustrated as they failed to answer any of my questions, didn't properly examine my cat, and seemed only interested in charging exorbitant fees without providing any care. It felt like I had to do all the tasks expected of a nurse. This business operates more like a scam, focused only profit. I really pray that no harm comes to any pet because of their greed.

My dog ate chocolate and I immediately looked up nearby emergency pet hospitals that have good ratings, so I chose Arch Vet and I see why this pet hospital has such great ratings/reviews. As soon as I got there and explained what was happening with my dog, they took me in and started getting to work right away. The whole visit probably took an hour maximum (most likely less) and everyone was so kind and accommodating to my dog and I even thought my dog is very sassy. Such a great and professional pet hospital! I was helped by Doctor Lakhpreet, Kendra, and Fiona.

This vet clinic is terrible. They're more interested in money than your pet's well-being. They wanted to charge $450 for cleaning my cat's paw and pushed expensive medicine. I looked on the internet and found the medicine, budgeted at $85 and $95 at the vet, was $25 and $15 at CVS, PetCo, and Costco (Clavamox and Onsior). I asked them for a prescription to buy the medicine outside. They told me they didn’t have prescriptions at that moment and that they would call me when they had one. What kind of veterinarian doesn’t have prescriptions on hand? They had me calling them every single day without success. "Unfortunately..." "I’m sorry, but…" "We can’t…" "Wait for our call…". It's already been 4 days, and my cat needs the medicine, so I decided to go in person. The woman at the front desk got mad because I went there instead of waiting for the call. Later, she told me that it takes them 4-5 business days to write a prescription!! The visit ended up with an $800 bill for the visit and injection, and 30 seconds with the veterinarian in the room, even after telling them I was going to clean my cat’s paw at home and buy the medicine outside. They’ll be the ones to blame if anything happens to my cat.0 stars for this place.

Despite having ads outside indicating walk-ins are welcome (and labeling themselves an "Emergency Hospital"), I was turned away yesterday with an injured dog without anyone even being available to assess him. I was told possibly someone could look at him later in the afternoon (this was at 9:30 AM). My only issue is why advertise you accept walk-ins, and that you are an Emergency Hospital, when you clearly aren't equipped for that? Just be cautious if you are in an urgent situation...and opt for elsewhere if you need help urgently -- this place may not be able to even triage your pet (as was the case with mine). Again, fully understand there can be long waits for ER visits, but to not even have someone who could triage my pet is really problematic and in a more urgent situation potentially adverse to the welfare of your pet.

After calling several other vets in area this was the only place that had available appointments within the day and week. The location is easy to find, they have ring bell needed to open front doors which I think is so smart for a vet office. Inside is spacious and clean. All the staff I interacted with during 2 visits were helpful and plesant. The vet-tech Rachel saw 2 different cats I brought in and she was so good with them and easy to talk to and get help with questions, a very helpful and delightful person to deal with. This place is now my go-to whenever a vet trip is in need

Highly recommend Dr. Solomon! He was wonderful with my dog. My dog is so afraid of the vet. It’s usually a traumatic experience for all of us. Dr. Solomon calmed him immediately. Excellent care too!

I’m here at least once a week and they are always amazing with my dog. I’ve never had a dog that is excited to go to the vet, that is until I brought my dog here. Whenever I tell him we are going to ArchVet, he jumps up, zooms around the house, then runs to the car. 10/10 vets and techs

Someone tried to steal something from my backyard and left the gate open. My brother’s (he is 90) support dog got out and was hit by a car… a loving couple brought her to this emergency vet clinic. When I was notified I rushed over and gave a $250 deposit before they would examine her. Emotions were high, my brother was beside himself. They had no clue what condition she was in. No sign of bleeding, but needed additional examination. We were presented with a “high” estimate of $14,000. We had approval thinking she had broken bones or internal punctured lungs and she may have needed immediate surgery. My elderly brother is on a fixed income receiving social security only.Long story short. No broken bones, no internal bleeding, no segue. She needed a a minor local to release gases accumulating in her lung cavity. They kept her 6 hours ( that alone cost $3000). She had several stitches on her hind leg due to road rash. When we picked her up she walked out on her own with a cone on her neck. Within a week she was running around. My brother was billed the full $14,000. The next day I went back in and asked why all these tests were necessary when from the start she didn’t show any bleeding, etc. my brother’s emotional well being was at risk over his fur buddy when we immediately approved the estimate. I showed the final bill to my regular vet who was shocked!!! I asked the office manager to reduce part of the bill and got a flat “no”. I challenged the amount on my credit card and since it was a provided service the card company could not help.So any social media that allows writing a review where I can warn the public I will. Next it with be TV media. UNLESS YOU ARE READY TO SPEND YOUR RETIREMENT ON THIS PLACE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE They have absolutely no empathy for you. They won’t even look at your pet without a deposit in hand. Even Sage the other emergency clinic is less expensive and more caring . I had no choice since someone else brought her in. Read their reviews

I have taken my dog to Archvet a few times now. Each experience has been amazing. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and provides advice when the owner is unsure how best to treat their pet. I have received multiple detailed quotes each visit outlining various options, explaining each cost associated with the procedure/medication and why it is necessary for my pet. Archvet cares for each animal as if they are their own pet and actively tries to make the experience as smooth as possible for both owner and pet. I highly recommend this clinic.

I rehomed a dog from the s. Sacramento area in late October. After having him for 36 hrs he began vomiting and have diarrhea. When I cleaned him up he had vomited 9 small rocks! This is no joke, this little guy had injected 11 in total of small garden rocks. I called and brought him in to Archvet and was greeted promptly, they took care of "Bob" and were very thorough in his exams, diagnosis and treatment plan. They offered different ways to treat him and assured me he was going to be ok after they get the other 2 rocks out of his stomach.I can't say enough how grateful we were that the outcome was amazing and their care and treatment of both "Bob" and I were above and beyond. Thank you, for everything you did.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I called to make an appointment for heart worm testing so I can get my dogs Simparica Trio prescription and their allergy shots. I made an appointment because this was NOT an emergency. They should tell you that even though their parking lot is empty, there are no customers inside or out, and that you made a non emergency appointment that they are going to try to charge you $1200 dollars for something that a normal vet would charge you around $500 for. Ridiculous and that’s why your waiting room is empty.

**update: maybe an hour after I posted initially three stars review (reluctantly by the way because I do love this place overall), I had a nice long conversation about my experience and I feel reassured that what I pointed out would be addressed. And my concerns were valid and important to the owner. Dr. Solomon is still the best**If I get Dr. Solomon everytime, this place gets five star reviews. Had a couple issues recently in phone conversations with staff but in person, vet techs and staff have always been awesome. The place is clean like previous reviews mention. The prices are what I expect for top quality care. But again, the service Dr. Solomon provides is like no other vet I've found. He gets down on the floor with every one of my dogs. Hands on, very thorough in his exams. Very caring. It feels like we adopted my rescue dogs together. I have yet to get the same passion or care from other vets on staff. I never feel like my dog is more than just another dog on the schedule that day. And after today's exam, Im just not confident in the diagnosis given. So am I just comparing every vet to Dr. Solomon? Yes. Is that fair? Probably not but when you love your animal like part of your family you want to feel like they are getting the best possible care. I can't say I feel that way on days like today when I wasn't able to see Dr. Solomon. I guess I just want consistency but can any place guarantee that these days...

Do not take your sick small animals here.My sweet hamster named Destiny had a mass growing on her backside and I instantly took her to the closest emergency vet that offers care for small animals. The vet *guessed* on what the mass could be. The vet came to the conclusion that it was a blood blister and that it’ll go away in a couple of weeks. No surgery or antibiotics were given (even tough it was the perfect small size for it to be surgically removed). Vet said it would be a “bloody mess” for it to be removed. I should’ve taken Destiny somewhere else after hearing this absolute nonsense.Couple of weeks later and the mass is enlarged. My very active hamster became off balanced, skinny, and barely came out of her hide. So I took her back here, and it was concluded it would be best to put her to sleep.I was not allowed to be there in Destiny’s final moments. She died alone in an unfamiliar scary place without me to hold and comfort her. I feel like I failed my little companion. After losing Destiny, I was rewarded with a vet bill. $800 for the euthanasia. I could’ve paid that price (or less) to get her surgery to save her life. Sure, vets are expensive but this is clearly greedy. If you value your animals’ lives, take them somewhere else.

I've been to Archvet twice in the past couple of months. The first time I was emotionally distraught over my pup. The second time a different pup. Nowadays the grift is just in your face. The amount of tests, and x-rays, and medications, special consults, for an animal approaching two decades, told me ALL I need to know. The staff is great, no gripes. However they're obviously following the ageold business plan get em while ya got em. The fish in Danmark was the treatment plan... they won't give you a copy if you want to look it over. It's a state of the art facility, from what they say. If you have plenty of cash to throw around and don't mind someone using using your pet as a conduit to your wallet.*update 12/31/23I forgot to mention, the vet listened to my dog's heart for 3 seconds and then said he had a heart problem, would need medication. When I also mentioned that his blood tests previously showed some kidney disease, he then said we should do more tests and start medication. This was only a consult appt. Like I mentioned, the grift is in your face and the employees have no stake in the business, so they're at the dictate of yet another 'corporation' squeezing every last drop out of anything that walks into their maw.

My dog got an abscess and parvo from wag hotel back in March. I didn’t know it was parvo initially. She was vomiting then pooping blood. I immediately called Arch Vet and they kindly took us in for an emergency visit. They got her tested for parvo and when she came back positive they took precautions bringing her up to the isolation rooms and put her on an IV all day. They also flushed her drain tube for her abscess for me. The vet kept me updated every step of the way and thoroughly explained everything to me. The staff went above and beyond for my pup and she recovered quickly and easily. The price was a bit steep since it’s a private hospital but they took AMAZING care of her. I set up an appt with them over her regular vet because ArchVet exceeds in quality care for my pup. They are kind, well-educated, efficient and caring. I have the utmost faith my dog will always be well-taken care of at Arch Vet. Thank you guys for being such an amazing team that I will never hesitate to take my baby to!
