I am very unsatisfied with this place& the vet they had me see for my cat with vision problems! I specifically asked asked for a vet who knew about possible eye issues& they gave me someone who Never saw this condition before& then tried to charge me $325 for the visit! I am still needing to get a straight answer about my kittens eyes!& if she is going blind! He NEVERgave me a diagnosis or prognosis Just threw meds at me & said come back in 2 wks for further tests!Just trying to milk me for money it appears. I needed to know so I could get her a home,but I Still don't know what is wrong with her eyes!

After facing some challenges with our previous vet, including concerns about a diagnosis and billing practices, I reached out to Animal Medical Clinic for a second opinion. They were quick to schedule an appointment, which was a relief.The staff at Animal Medical Clinic, from the assistant who greeted us to Dr. Berg, provided a welcoming and straightforward experience. Dr. Berg was clear about the options for my dog's condition, offering various treatments without pushing us towards immediate surgery. He confirmed the initial diagnosis but was also clear about how they would proceed cautiously, especially with pre-surgery preparations.The financial aspect was handled with transparency. The assistant provided a detailed estimate that was easier to understand and ultimately, the costs for the examination and preliminary tests were $150 less than at our previous vet.We decided to go ahead with the surgery at Animal Medical Clinic. The staff was communicative throughout the process, keeping us updated on our dog's status. Surprisingly, the final cost was $400 less than what we had been initially quoted, and it was also significantly more affordable than our previous vet. I understand that pricing is subjective, and different people have different budgets, but for us, it was definitely doable.Dr. Berg was thorough in explaining the post-surgery care and encouraged us to reach out with any follow-up questions, showing a genuine concern for our dog's recovery. This positive experience has led us to consider switching all our pet care needs to Animal Medical Clinic, especially given its convenient location.

My dog passed away suddenly and beginning from the care to final arrangements, from the wonderful ladies at the front desk to the ones that came from the back… I could not have gotten luckier with how everything was handled. They were so caring through the whole situation which left me quite in shock because it was my fur baby of 14 years. He had signs he was having some trouble and ended up passing from heart failure. I have never cried so much but I was comforted and they were so patient with me it made the nightmare bearable. Thank you all very much ❤️

Do not take your animal here. There is typical shady Veterinarian behavior here exploiting the love people have for their pets.I called to schedule a neuter for a rescue cat. I informed the personnel on the phone that he had cryptorchidism (one testes never dropped). On the day of his neutering, I brought him in and they quoted me a standard cost of neutering ($60 for the office visit, $228 for the neutering, and then another approximately $100 for some updated shots and microchip). At this point I informed them again about the cats condition. The tech then said if there were issues, the vet would call me. So I paid the $230 deposit, which is another questionable business practice as I've never had to do this for any of my other animals at any other vet - likely because the place is ghetto.10 minutes later when I am now driving to work, I get a call from the actual Vet stating that because of the cats cryptorchidism, it would be anywhere from $200 to $500 on top of the quoted price. I pointed out that price is a really big range but according to the vet, this disparity in price depends on how long it takes them to find the recessed testes and remove it - all while assuring me it shouldn't take that long. Okay sure.At this point feeling this is a little fishy, I obviously should have just taken the cat home and called around other places. But since I had waited so long for this appointment in the first place, I THOUGHT paying a little bit more would be worth it.Ultimately, of course the final bill total was $884. The absolute maximum anywhere in the world could have charged for the procedure, two updated vaccines, and a microchip. The conclusion here being that they are being exploitative or they aren't very good at their job. In either case, I'd recommend going somewhere else.

I had to take my very senior cat here because he had stopped eating and drinking. It was his time to cross the rainbow bridge, and the vet and her staff were so very kind and sympathetic thru the whole process. I would highly recommend this place.

I have been bringing my fur baby here for years to see Doctor Dustin Headley, but after multiple negative interactions with the office staff and the doctor's REFUSAL to speak with me regarding my dog's medication, I will no longer bring my business here. I have chosen to overlook the mistreatment and poor customer service skills that the office staff seem to have until today. I was told by NIKO that Doctor Headley is "REFUSING TO SPEAK WITH YOU." I asked why and was not provided with an answer other than "Yeah that's what I said." I called back and spoke with Lileth who defended the words of Niko and said "Well I don't know what he meant by that, maybe it was a poor choice of words." Then only to be told she would look into it and return my call later (They never return calls despite stating they will). I came into the vet before December 6, while Dr. Headley was still on vacation, and was told I would have a returned call from the vet himself. That never happened. Instead, I called again today only to be told that the doctor refused to speak with me despite multiple requests and was not provided with the reason behind the doctor's refusal. The front office staff is by far the most unprofessional and incompetent I have ever encountered. When my father called on my behalf the office manager claimed that the reason the doctor refused to call me was because I mentioned I would leave a review when I was there to pick up medication on December 2. I never left a review until today. They make notes regarding concerns customers have instead of addressing them they use it as an excuse not to see the patient. It is so unfortunate that I was recommended to this vet by an outstanding vet who flourished and retired in the same community (Dr. Johnson) only to experience the very worst veterinarian office in the San Jacinto Valley.

Been going here since we moved to Hemet, Dr. Berg and Dr. Booth are just amazing, I highly recommend their professionalism and work. Very honest doctors. I haven't had a chance to meet the rest of the doctors but I heard they’re just as equally good. And their crew are hard workers and super nice!

Very expensive and not very personable. The vet was nice overall. Front office stafd were ok. The discussion with the Vet regarding our pet was fine. What took me by surprise was the added expense of blood work they claim was not optional and then there was an additional charge after we picked up our pet from surgery that no one called prior to inform me. I do not plan in returning.

Less than 1 star. I took a stray in to be spayed and they wanted to charge me 499.oo to get it done. I have 6 strays living in my yard. So I'm supposed to pay 499.oo per stray? Not a good animal clinic if they don't TNR.

Dr Booth and the staff at Animal Medical Center are excellent. We have been going there for years - our pups have been healthy until recently my Dog -Rigby developed a bad cough. Dr and Staff were great and took the time to explain everything and offer cost effective treatment etc. Excellent Vet!!!

Kids woke up around 8:30am to a stray kitten no more than a few weeks old laying lethargic on my porch...Called and they said they don't take strays and I should try Haven...Haven doest open until noon so I stopped in and was told I could sit in the lobby until it dies and then I could leave because there was nothing they would do unless I paid them....I wouldn't trust my beloved pets to a place that is willing to let animals die in their lobby if they are not paid...

I did not realize it was called that Dusty's something or other. Yes I was there today and I gave it a five. They checked out my dog caught him up on his shots took blood work, checked his teeth and he goes back in later for a teeth cleaning and probably a few teeth taken out. Foul mouth. And a little growth on his upper outer lip. Waiting for blood work, to find out if he can have the surgery done. The doctor Bear saw Dr Burg was very good at explaining everything. And 🐻 Bear really likes him. Thank you. And everybody else that works in that office is very pleasant and nice and caring I've noticed. See you soon

My grandmother use this facility recently, she had nothing but good things to say, and was explaining to me all the things they did to the her dog ivy for testing etc. and full check up. but she has a hard time remembering things from when she brought her dog ivy in a week ago or so.. I came in and dealt with a gentleman by the name of Nico at The front desk i just wanted to get some paperwork and test and X-rays that were just done recently, All the things that were done with the dog, etc. so I could go over the documents myself. Nothing but great workmanship skills and customer service from him he made the process super easy for me printing out everything for me that I needed. The X-ray machine was down at that time, so I’m waiting another couple days to go back in to see if I can get the pictures from the X-rays for that I just wanted to give Nico a shout out and the facility to let you guys know I will be using this facility for any of Ivy’s needs.
