Used to be a decent ¥100 store, but you know, inflation 📈🙄. Not quite as upscale as セリア, but they don't have those here in the US. Now it's more like ¥261 ($1.75). Sort losing on with these exchange rates. They do have some Japanese products, and then maybe some local cheap cleaning supplies you'd also find at the 99¢ Only Store. As of my last visit however, it feels like there's more mainland China branded products, or faux Japanese products from Taiwan. I get it, profit margins and all, but it doesn't feel the same. Sort lost its initial luster, but still worth visiting for some things. Just make sure to look carefully at the tags.

This is a small Japanese-style department store that sells all kinds of things. Here are small items, the price is not expensive. The customers of this store are mainly female customers, and many children also like it here. The stuff here is exquisite, it looks new, and it looks good. The store is also very clean, and the attitude of the waiters is also very good. My daughter and I like to come here very much.

This is a small Japanese supermarket with a wide range of products, most of which are small and exquisite items, which are liked by women, especially for little girls. The inside of the store is very neat, warm, clean, and the light is very bright. The background music is also Japanese songs, and the Asian style feels very strong.

This is a Japanese supermarket in Quantong Square. It sells small items with relatively cheap prices. There are many kinds of goods and beautiful items placed. It is a good place for home shopping. The parking lot here is very large, but it is still difficult to find parking spaces on weekends.

Lots of practical home products. Location is not very big but has managed to offer everything from the front door to the kitchen to bedroom.

My go to for adorable "Japanese" stationary and stuff I don't need. Store feels fancy, well lite, and clean. It's an high end dollar tree store with different daily essentials, small gadgets, make up, crafting supply, etc. Everything is $1.50 unless marked. Was hoping to find some paint pens, which they did, but it was in one color only, gold. They did carry poster markers that almost fooled me to believe them to be Posca... LoL

Daiso is always a good value, even though they went from $1.50 to 1.75 for most items. For those not familiar, anything not the basic price will be marked otherwise with a Dollar sign or in "Yen" which you would convert with a pricing chart hanging near the items. Parking can be iffy at this location. This is one of their original stores in So Cal.

Best Daiso in the LA area! Huge with free parking. Daiso is a Japanese dollar store that's particularly known for great quality. It's especially great if you're looking for something Japanese and specialized (wooden pudding spoons, replacement bento elastic bands, Japanese chawan bowls, ginger graters, etc). They carry a lot of stuff exclusive to them and not just discounted big name brands. I love the travel and camping sections for really random little things you'd never think of. Also great for crafts (washi tape, origami) and gift bags.

Great place for finding knick knacks. Used to be $1.50 for almost everything here, but prices have gone up and a lot of things are over $3, $7, even $10. Can always find something cute for the kids though.

Recently updated with an even wider array of items and reorganized too. Cannot seem to skip a trip inside when heading to area and always walk away with something fun and/or useful. Staff are also very courteous and helpful.

A fun place to shop for household items that are inexpensive, things such as microfiber cloths, mugs, kitchen utensils, notebooks and a bunch of other goods. Things here are typically $1.50 plus tax, but some things are marked otherwise, there is a sign that says that. Overall, a fun place to shop for inexpensive items.

Nice items, you will find something you like. However, no refunds I believe. Best customer service experience.

The cashier Susan is not nice. They don't give out the charge directly to your hand. She would drop the quarter on the floor. Very rude and she doesn't talk nicely. She also did not give other customers the change in their hand. Whenever I come to this store, Susan will always drop the quarters on the floor and doesn't put the money carefully on customer's hand. When she drop the money on the floor, she does not say sorry and she would call next customer.

Went there around dinner time. The place is clean and the price conversions for anything that isn't $1.50 is very clear (bc the prices on the items are in yen). The place is bustling with people and the staff are kind to everyone.

Daiso Japan is a very interesting discount store featuring products from Japan. We like to purchase travel products, kitchen items, lunch box containers and home office supplies at Daiso.

Best place for cheap, cute, and useful products. 1.50 for everything, and everything is worth it and has character beyond what you get at your standard dollar store. They also have a decent selection of Japanese sweets, something I can rarely resist.

Such a busy store wouldn't let me pay my $45 receipt with a $100 bill knowing they had change. Not one sign posted anywhere about the 100$ limit, because i asked. The MALE employee (who which I think is a manager) was also trying to regulate store rules ive never heard before. I was a huge fan of diaso until today.

Great store, low prices and very fast service. If you like Japanese stores that have small, practical things to organize your home, this place is perfect. Highly recommended when in Monterey Park.

Store was clean and organized. Not your typical Daiso for it was smaller in comparison to other stores I've visited. Selections are going to be at a smaller volume. Service was decent so I will give them a four.

Great store to find stuff you never thought you needed at a very good price. Makes you feel wealthy, like you can afford anything :-)

Terrible place to shop. They always mis-price their stuff and charge you more than the posted price. I hate shopping at places that are dishonesty, fraud, and irresponsible. It is a miracle they are still in business. They have no decency to carrying for their customer. Just because it's cheap, they can disrespect their customers. It is false advertisement for what they do. It's illegal!! When you ask for as manager, there's never anyone to handle a situation.

Daiso has moved up from a basic $1.50 to $1.75 per item. Still some pretty good deals and finds. Household kinda things.

Daiso San Gabriel, CA used to be a store cares about customers. I bought a damaged USB Fan, and the receptionist and manager refused to refund $6. Customers could report this store to the Daiso headquarter.

Most stuffs are $1.5. Although cheap, quality is quite good. Some stuffs are very useful, functional and practical. Credit card is allowed if you buy more than $10. Nice place to get small stuffs.
