First of all, I love the name, so cute-- West Pawtal😂😂😂.I actually didn't know I can bought "cat grass seed" & "cat nip" here, just want to give it a try, because Papenhaussen Hardware Store doesn't have it 😔 and West Pawtal have it all😊❤️ .Even though it's a small place, everything is put so neat and organized.I randomly bought some treat for the feral cat I was feeding and she loves it and she also go crazy by just smelling cat nip.I am going to visit more often from now on.The staff is super nice and helpful.& I can use mobile payment.

Great little pet store with affordable prices. Some items are cheaper here than other competitors. There is plenty of toys, natural dog food, and plenty of grooming essentials here. Also there is plenty of Bay Area doggy clothes (49ers, Warriors, Giants) which I thought was great. I highly recommend to shop this small business! Customer service is also very good!

I miss West Pawtal SO MUCH! It used to be our go-to pet food and supply shop when we lived in the area until a couple months ago, when we moved up north. Tina is SO informed/educated on the products they carry in the store, she shows wonderful customer care/service (still texts me to wish me happy holidays), although they're a small business in the middle of San Francisco their prices are reasonable, and they carry SO MUCH product for the size of the shop! Wonderful place

I buy all my pet supplies here instead of from the big chains. I prefer to support locally owned shops when I can. This place sells what I want, & they're willing to make special orders for me. They even carry my heavy items to my car if I pull up to a nearby space or if I double park, so I can buy heavy cat litter bags here. The owners work in their store & are very nice & accommodating.

The owner, Tina is just the sweetest person ever and so helpful. I am a dog walker so I would go in frequently for treats and poop bags and it was nice to just chat. I recently fostered a puppy and she was incredibly helpful about what supplies I should get. She even took a picture of the pup and shared him with her friends. They have a lot of options for everything, especially the more natural and healthier options that I've only seen online. This is my favorite store, they're prices are great and they even do price checking. They will even specially order products for you if they don't carry it already. Best pet store out there, in my opinion.

The service is wonderful and for cat lovers they have the greatest selection of foods for our picky fussy fur babies. I love the store and go out of my way to support this wonderful SF GEM.

Went there twice and looked around for a few minutes and waited around 20-30 minutes and absolutely nobody came and nobody was at the cashier the place was open with nobody there to attend
